The snow at the shrine really did add to the atmosphere. Those snow flakes were so large and gently falling they looked like a scene out of an anime. It actually reminded me of the opening two minutes of the first episode of 狼と香辛料 MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF. Northern Japan is so beautiful
