Well that was a whole-lotta-nothin’. I like when bands are abstract, but at least there’s a point to the madness. Don’t dislike Cook/Pipe-eye, I love Inside/Outside from 2019 and I still listen to it regularly. I don’t half time to waste listening to 15-16 min of humming synth unchanging with a few occasional pings of music here and there. This is more Noise Rock than Space or Psychedelia. Hope the rest of the album is better. Can’t wait for King Gizzard’s 18th and 19th albums to come out in 2021.
This ain't exactly new. This is the Cosmic Blip Reprise from Side B of the recently released Extended Version of the Cosmic Blip EP (see recent Pipe-Eye reissues). So not a new track exactly but just the original full version of those ambient interludes from the EP
@@jessekircher2801 So that’s why it sounded familiar. Cosmic Blip, huh. Haven’t listened to it in awhile. That or Laugh About Life from 2017. Both albums have more interludes and experimental music than actual songs on them. Again, why I was listening to Inside/Outside.
If it's Cookiedawg It's a certified classic
This is a certified hood classic
If we didn't get it from "Pleura", then this is the certified Cookiedawg69 classic we were waiting for

Longest intro ever.....................................................
Yeah, not a fan of the droning. It went nowhere.
It Sounds so terrible and boring
Bless Pipe-Eye. Bless Cook. Bless Flightless and Gizz and this friend, Jake Armstrong. This is the tightest record label to ever exist.
He's the most psychedelic Gizzardian.
he is the george harrison of king gizz

A lot of Cook's stuff sounds like Earthbound to me and I love it. That warm fuzzy "you're home, you're safe, fuzzy nostalgia" feeling.
Reminds me alot of Buzz Buzz’s Prophecy!
Thank you for saying this... I knew it sounded like something! It's 100% Earthbound!
thank you cookiedawg and eric, you are my overlords

The first time I feel like I wasted my time listening to Pipe Eye.
Meh.
Just got this in the mail. Side 2 the entire side 2

But you 'half' time to write out this pointless comment?
@@lachieok I meant have the time. Even when I type and look right at the buttons, some words still don’t come out right.
