Thunderspeaker also loves River. Thunderspeaker is usually energy-starved, so avoiding G3 is nice so they can G2 and G1 more often for more plays and a larger hand. Then the dahan movement/creation just makes Manifest and the 2nd innate a complete bonanza.
Thanks for the video series Red! Love the presentation. Learned something new with growth since i don’t play river as much. I usually do g2, g2, g2, g1. Turn 2 and turn 3 just play 2 cards so when turn 4 when reclaim comes i have 5 card plays. I think i like yours in theory more! Need to try! Makes for a more powerful turn 2 and having that weak/off turn on turn 3. MM and wind lighting are my favorite two pairings with travel river! With MM i like how you can use your skip in the dump zones until River is ready to blow everything up. Besides the bedevil, i like river’s dahan movement combined with MM mobile defense. I will definitely try your major builds as well since I don’t play river solo. Appreciate this juicy content! ❤️🤓 also, seems like with the river and ocean combo, river seems it should learn towards more majors since it gets tidal boon and because ocean prefers river to hit tier 2 if massive flooding instead so you get the push for energy.
