    Glad the synergy still works with Tangles and isn't completely reliant on GoP. I get the appeal for high level players to break the game, but I just don't enjoy Base/Regrowth Green for my taste. I think you put it well in a previous video, it undermines the puzzle. Looking forward to trying out Stranded+Tangles combo as Tangles still has the skips and damage pings of Base.

    Hi Red, you forget 1 importat thing about flouwing. Last line of text of the card. It allow shroud to gather presence and sacred site from athore player allowing green more easy access to mount and sand to green and allow and cool move to skip invader action.

    Brainstorming a little around Flowing... It should help: Finder with its responsibilities Any spirit targeted by Wounded Waters' unique power. Gazes' Innates That one major power with range zero adding blight, badlands and damage ...but it should not help WV growth destruction Volcano erupting

    For Cards like accelerating rot, i'd find it already more appealing if the target restriction would be put into the range/cast Btw: Will the rebalancing of Powers be part of the dahan expansion?

    Hey Red, have you revealed the mentioned rework of grant hatred? Also: what happened with them making the "Unearth a Beast of Wrathful Stone" card? I feel it's busted.

      The rework was just something we were toying with. Nothing official. Unearth a Beast is a decent card, but it's constraints and cost can make it unplayable in some situations. If you can threshold it, it's one of the best majors in the game (though the threshold is tough to reach).

      @ it’s a really fun card, but trust me it’s pretty balanced (I worked on it 😉). The problem with the card is SS targeting, 5 energy means it’s a commitment, and the resolution requires the land to not act in. Vs England and Russia this can be incredibly difficult to pull off!

    Hey Red, an off topic, how do you remove the isolation condition from a land? I mean, how can you choose to do not consider isolated an isolated land? Thanks for the answer and for all your videos!

      In the pause menu there’s a “prompt for isolated adjacency” button. If you turn that on, you’ll be prompted to turn off or on adjacency for isolated lands for each action.

    Awesome game! However this game pretty much exemplifies precisely what goes wrong with Green for me...the stalling and not progressing with the fear deck all that much means you really have to lead hard on a good major. Im uncertain how Jungle Hungers would have helped you rush both getting rid of all the cities and getting you to Terror Level III?

      Honestly, I don't think anything went wrong here. The Spirit never took blight and was in full control (despite horrible RNG). Early Coast into Habsburg + brutal events. There are plenty of Spirits that lean into majors to win games into Habsburg. It's just the adversary is so durable. JH isn't as easy as a victory, but I can definitely see a victory with that card aswell. Each turn the card completely solves a land. Combined with Delusions of Danger you can stop a build, clear a ravaging land. Use skips and your defend to get some favorable counter attacks.

      It is actually a very strong power.. i did try that power with Bringer (BoDaN) and it worked very well Because u gather 1 city to a land that u already piled into madness and "destroy" those cities with this power and grants u ton of fears

    18:28 just a slight optimisation - you can do damage with your first 3 beasts to get 2 towns to 1 health without killing them, then kill both with the final beast. This way you only destroy one beast. Not that it really matters at this point in the game haha

    Hi Red, It's always nice seeing you post SI content. Recently, my playgroup has gone past single 6, and now they seem boring, as we know we will win 100% of the time. If we want to ramp up the challenge, what would you suggest? Double Adversaries? Which combination is the best to start and fun to play? Will the games become unfair or restricted as we must choose strong spirits?

      France + Scotland series is probably the best combination of Adversaries. Best as it's close to level 6 while adding more interactions. Minimum 4/4, but I think France 6 Scotland 4/5 is pretty solid and around diff 11/11.5. A few interesting interactions: - Slave rebellion only happens once! and the first time it's a stage III. -Scotland level 2 explores towns. If they build they France 4 (triangle trade. -Scotland level 2 explores towns. Then if you get hit with a France escalation, there's a higher chance of immediately taking a blight because the explore on the coast is a town! Imagine board A. Land A3 is empty, land A8 starts with a town. After explore land A3 gets a town then you France escalate and take a blight. My ideal games are games that are slightly harder than base, but not too harder to where a lot of Spirits get shunned out. In general, doubles create more interesting games then singles for MP. Another fun combination is Prussia 4 Scotland 4. This one is a solid diff 11 as well. My last piece of advice is not to trust the diff rating for the combinations. Alot of times it's completely off.

      @@RedReVenge007 Thx for the reply! We usually pick our spirits after knowing the matchup and adjust to make a better combo team. We did win against Great River + Russia (Diff. 14) and Dahan insurrection + England (Diff. 15), vanilla England and Russia are now a walk in the park for us so I think we should start with France + Scotland 6/6 now.

      @@RedReVenge007 Just another question, do you think for the majority of the spirits, the top track is underpowered? Just with a little energy support(River/Ocean/GoC), which is easy to have in a multiplayer game, we often can ignore the top track and go straight bottom track.

      ​@@RedReVenge007 Very true. We found that many spirits are struggling even just playing minors. Often times they need to draft some 0s to play smoothly, even if the cards are off-element or just for elements, 1 energy is painfully expensive as the bottom track is too good compared to a non-existent top track.

    Nice game! Why don’t you get two fear when an invader is drowned in a coastal land, is pushed into the ocean where it drowns again, and is then pushed onto a coastal land? (34:40, and little after with poisonous dew) Sense of impending disaster saves it twice, so shouldn’t it be two fear as well?

    Out of curiousity, how come when you play Rising Heat you will play (for elements) but wont use Gift of Searing Heat to gain the 2 energy but you always use Exaltation of Molten Stone on Volcano? Exaltation seems like a much stronger card that allows solo Volcano to do even more busted stuff

      @@Fledermausification exaltation always gives volcano some amount of energy. In solo you get the full amount. I don’t have a choice to gain half. So I just gain all of it.

    I think I have found a bug in Spirit Island, I was playing Shroud and Ocean and it's possible to move Shroud's presences into the ocean, which I don't think it's allowed by the rules... Anyway, great match, I which I could win at least half of the times I play against Level 6 Adversaries :D

    0:45 would love to see ocean into livestock because when jorbs played it he bricked when flooding just didn't kill towns, really want to see how you'd adapt to that.

    Constancy was a mistake here. You didn't need energy and you were going to reclaim loop anyway, so Constancy did nothing. It's not always the pick!

      The purpose of GoC this game wasn’t to avoid reclaims it was to pad the energy economy. I think it was very relevant this game.

      @RedReVenge007 correct me if I'm wrong here but: isolating the ocean to drown explorers also gives energy. In fact, more than constancy does: the power gathers which pays for itself, so the cost is equal, and call is +2 already, plus one for every explorer that dies on the coast that turn. It's more energy, deals with explorers permanently, and it would've solved a land on the turn you picked goc.

    that game was brutal ! should have made so many other decisions but somehow you made it out alive ! Not saying the decisions, in the moment, I would have made would have made an earlier win but lets just say every time I heard you lament and say ' oh no i should have chosen ...X' , I was screaming at my monitor saying YES! i was trying to tell you !

    Hi man, thanks for this guide, Shroud is one of the spirits I liked the most in concept, but I think it's hard and most of the times it feels like it's starving for energy, but I've been experimenting with a build that has allowed me to have it without energy complains, I've been able to pay for events, the build is going for G2 every time, the first will be G2 top-top, and playing Fog as the only card, having the water elemental on the top track allows me to play right innate on the first turn, usually I only use that for movement, that is I can move twice; for second turn I do G2 top-bottom and playing Unnerving and Flowing and getting both innates, I try to save a land and let go another, but most of the time the secondary land gets saved, on the third turn I reclaim and again try to save at least a land and maybe let go another, and for the fourth turn again G2 top-bottom, that means by this time all the top track is open, most of the turns getting both innates and having the move a presence makes the spirit move to any land I need to be, after that I continue to do G2 as much as possible, if I try to get a G3 in the mix then I start starving for energy again. I'm still not playing with more difficulty than the base game and plain adversary, so I'm not sure if this build can hold on in harder levels, I will try, but maybe it's something you can also explore. Keep on rockin'!

      @@antoniogutierrez7218 hey there! There are builds that help with the energy, but they trade a lot of tempo into higher difficulty adversaries. Which means more blight and usually a loss.
