Thank you so much. It’s honestly really insane to whatever everyone has to say about that thing it takes a lot of time and I learned from the best which is my father who builds custom jeeps and buggy for ultra 4
Great job young man! 11:33 haha so glad to hear someone else say that. I was beginning to think I had a problem. I was a welder/fabricator most of my working life and I am impressed. Tig welding is not something you just pick up or learn overnight.
Madddd talent from that kid. As a fabricator I can appreciate this. The time it takes to even do small tacs with a tig is insane. To the builder, if you see this. Keep pushing your skills man. No doubt you'll be building full scale rigs in no time. 🤌 If you arent already lol
I been welding since I left school 30 years ago! To be able to do that at age of 16 you man should be very proud of himself!! Looks like a awesome little rig
As an aerospace welder with 10 years experience welding really thin stuff (.020”), very impressive 👍🏻 especially if this is aluminum because that shit ain’t easy. To the builder: keep it up
Very awesome. This youngster has talent. This is what the Hobby needs. I was skeptical like you. I didn’t think he was gonna do as good as it did now I can’t wait to see how you build it up and how it does ✌🏽
Awesome cage chassis. That kid has mad skills!! I can see that chassis performing better with a C-bolt wheelbase, portal axles and longer - possibly 43mm shocks - all while keeping its belly dragger status. The only limitation that I can see is that the chassis doesn't have many shock mounting locations. Regardless, I'm sure you can build something even more special, but again that youngster deserves props. Can't wait to see more.
You were 100% right to buy that wonderful buggy 💥that is one very gifted young man to have fabricated that frame . Great build, a very impressive crawler on those rocks .I also love those new rocks you cleaned up ...im sure you could fabricate a bridge to join that gap ,and that new rock with the steps is sick 🤘 greetings from latvia...Harry
Super cool build and amazing he crammed all the electronics in a small package. I would push to make it a CBolt or Gladiator wheelbase, especially with those tires. Glad to see someone pushing the envelope on what can be built at the 1/24 scale.
I was impressed by the welding but more so with the engineering aspect this 16 year old kid did something that took me a year to get good at crazy respect to him
This is the first cage buggy of any scale that I actually like a lot. Hope that dude sticks with it. Trying to get my Beetle dialed in then want to come visit you once we get in our Skoolie. Will be a month or two before making it up.
3:47 So you understand he's putting 8k long travel suspension on his truck... He possibly might be going for a pre-runner or a rock crawler rig, or both! he's very talented I love the buggy look on his 24-scale rig, just makes me wanna learn how to weld, it opens a door of infinite possibilities
I think this is my favorite rig so far. A great candidate for the all-in-one motor so you can swap that esc for the driver figurine. You may need to do gladiator length rear links to make more room. Hopefully that wouldn’t ruin the look. I’d be curious if he’d try and make one out of aluminum. I’m excited to see what you do to make it even more capable! The huge stair set on the new rock is going to be great to watch and the perfect place to test break-over on various rigs.
Another cool vid dude ! Best of luck cleaning those new rocks :) I’m definitely not a fan of cages but this one hits a sweet spot ! Nice proportions 👍🏻 This one and the micro shark from Mod19 are my favorites so far. Like others said already, cbolt or even gladiator wb would probably be a better option for this. Would also deserve a bit of brass up front, tire inserts and micro receiver OR EVEN BETTER : integrated rx python pro along with a tiny 3s lipo to juice up that nsdrc servo to 8.4v ! 😎
Everywhere I go I tend to keep my eyes peeled for rocks and make a scene in my mind with all the possible lines I can hit with my rigs it’s awesome, I think we’re a different breed lol keep on crawling🤘🏼
Hey yer Yep, it does seem like that those maxxis tires are very good and can help make up for some build deficiencies. Going to get some and try ‘em. Suggested name requested for the bad ass favorite crawler route with vodka chaser: Wasted Tramp Frog’s (WTF’s) delirium or maybe “The Crawlin’ DTs Chasm.” Enjoyed this young guys interesting build and uncommon skill. Performed amazingly better than i had predicted also. Yepper!
What a talent! Hey man, you're a genius! And for now real handcraft. Not 3 d printed bs😉. Happy a young lad like you make such a great one. Give me hope for the future of human beings!
Dude, 16 years old and welding his own cage chassis?! Crazy talent right there!! He’s going places for sure whether he chooses to stay in the rc hobby or not, he’ll definitely make it to the big leagues! Please don’t leave the rc hobby my little dude, we need your talents and ingenuity 😁👍🏻.
What a badass, right on! I really like the simple and strong design, its an ideal buggy imo. I've wanted to build one like this for a while, but haven't had the drive to take the initiative, and would not be as well made. Oh man, your lady didn't like it.. Dang, Picaso? That's rough. Lol
@@24Yepp For sure. But there are not so much people out there, who are able or willing to give it. But you're one of them, and that's one reason for me to enjoy your channel!
Great chassis tig build, think you should film the clearing of the rock just to show how much work and you put in to find these great line we all enjoy watching attempt peace ✌️
I live in El Dorado county CA... gold bearing country. I.... for the life of me have not found your kind of rock. I want a giant boulder to let loose on. The 1849ers broke all dreams and hopes for a cool rock to run on. I have piles upon piles of every kind of rock from footballs to golf balls but not ever the elusive 24 scale boulder. I have been denied the moments of joy that you produce. I will... one day ....hope...to pass on to my children ....the joyous adventures you bring to the screen.
We all Love You...This kid is Talented. I like the cage. Compared to the ones i seen online, THIS ONE LOOKS PERFECT> :) Edit: She's so funny. " How'd he learn to do that"
Whats an Acceptable distance to travel to crawl ? I am on the Valley side of the Oregon Coast range. I am tired of the same spot. I feel like i have driven over everything in the spot. I feel lucky it is 2 blocks away. I want to find a big rock like yours. I know we have them. Time for a Drive i think.... Anyways
To the 16 year old that made this buggy awesome job lots of talent for not to many years can’t wait to see what the future holds 🔥🔥🔥😎👍💯

Just have your production crew clean that rock

You know what, I love the fact that he only has 1 location to mount the shocks. Definitely a sick looking little buggy.

Love the hard but truthful answer from your wife. And a dedicated video on that 2nd rock is a must. I seen at least 3 lines just on that one side.

Sweet choice on getting it! It's a performer and a looker to boot!
I freaking love this thing I hope he never stops building
By far the best looking buggy! This is the only buggy id ever consider building
That is a great buggy! You have figured out a way to grow your fleet while creating beauty content. Brilliant!
Super cool. Great to see you supporting this kid.
7:47 I had a good chuckle when you were peering over the hill with the heavy breathing. Hills aint no joke lol.
Very nice welding work on that buggy! Favorite line, "it's a good rock." Crawl on young 'un!

Dude, with some well placed brass and a few tuning item's, this rig would be unstoppable. Very nice build
The gf rating system was a highlight this episode. Great chemistry bruv👍
Damn that boy is going places! Awesome work!
It's absolutely gorgeous and usually rock crawling is done by buggies like that you know I think it is absolutely absolutely amazing
Intro just never gets old :)
That thing is a work of art dude, amazing. I made this comment before art was even mentioned 😂

Mint effort from the young Legend.👍🏻

Congratulations on your new purchase 😊 That rig is awesome. I want one😀
That thing looks amazing!
I guess I’m a Picasso fanboy. 😉
Nice build, big rocks are the greatest, like going to " Rocks are us "
Loving your crawling rocks. If you have a saw, utilize the wood please. Excellent course materials
Those trepadors are my favorite tire. Great traction even on the sidewalls lol
Deff. ordering some after this
Sweet new lines! Sweet little rig! Good job convincing him Yep 🤙
When I hear tck..tck .tcckk..tck tck from the tires in slow mo..sweet bajebus

Love your content! Im into 1/10 but recently bought a redcat ascent 18 and havin a blast 🤙
Crazy how fast your channel is growing I remember you being at 2k not long ago
Thanks to you guys 🤘🏻
A portable cordless pressure washer might be good for those rocks. Just fill up an empty bucket if there is a stream nearby.
Awesome addition to your fleet! cant wait to see the twist you put on it!
I hope you are marking all this badass terrain on gps

Love seeing the skill
im a big fan of this rig and this video
Shorten the front end and and extend the rear end I say that but man it looks really cool just the way it is
I have been wondering if the proline 1.0 tires were worth the money. I really want a set of the TSL’s. This was my sign to pull the trigger.
My Semi stock jeep climbed a Curb. Straight up it. Wheels an Tires with brass on wheels is all.....
How’s the posi tract on a back of a mercury work???? It just does…😂 that thing is awesome
This thing is so good👀👀
Around 11:00 dude them rocks kick ass i can see whatcha see in them if ya know these appy mtns ya know there's hidden treasures for crawlin
😎🤘🏻
YES>>>>> SICK. Congrats
That’s some fun crawling 👍
Good thing you bought it before you went home.Your wife would have said no way😂
Such a sick build🔥 your wife did the roasting this episode 😂
A bit harsh 😬
My wife wouldn’t get it either. 5k out of 20. Love this
which tires are those? work insane!
So good! Proline trepador
run it 4ws steer man that would really lean into its strengths
Do you know of any 3d printed chassis’s for a scx24 that I could print?
Not off the top of my head, they definitely exist though. Cults3d and thingiverse are both good sites for files
That's because a lot of people have a Plex about the word love you should be able to tell your people hey I love you bro
What tires are those?? I tried to pause the video but I couldn’t get a clear enough angle to read it lol
What all chassis do you use do u have a hard park chassis yet
Did most of the weight come from the cage or from the super 8 axels? Do you think the wheels had brass in them?
Probably a bit of both. I think the wheels are all plastic and very light
nice frame !!!!
The love part has me laughing 😂
Very nice buggy performs great
🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
“Aggravated” 😂😂
🤐
What size tubing/rod did he use? Similar to link size probably?
Similar to a link yeah, I'm not 100% sure
What size tube
Sending him a message right now !
Wow !Thats is whar I call a sweat sleeper
What brand of rims are those ?
