Man, I need to have 24Yep roast my rigs! I gotta get some ducks in a row first, and then box them up and put them in the mail. I like the little pink bug, it needs some tuning for sure but the looks are dialed in.
I like the cage a lot. These videos have shown me a lot of companies I haven't heard of before and lots of things I didnt know I needed. 😳 This truck looks great to me. That dont scratch body looked pretty sweet also. Great job Jimmy. Thanks so much 24Yep 🫡
No sniff test for Jimmy lmfao and when it pulled off that one pretty hard line I was honestly surprised and then it was downhill from there to much weight not enough balance fun video though please don’t stop this series
I've seen people make square drive shafts on real trucks so that when they're off roading the drive shaft spinning actually gets them off of something when they're hung up
I suppose if the drive shaft is the low point, being in the center, the rig is more likely to tip to the side when getting caught on a high point. This would allow for the wheels on one side or the other to contact the ground and get traction.......... Just making up schit to give the boys an excuse.......😅😅😅😅😅😅
Far as driveshaft/links go, yes you want the driveshaft to be protected by the links, that being said, its hard to get the driveshaft high enough above most double bends
🎉 your no phucks given and your lady's off the hip review..... Priceless. Don't ever stop that......eeevvveeeerrrrr. That's what is making your channel. Plus the send back wants mine to make sure I send my best. Also a chance to sell.... priceless....like MasterCard.

@@JanSonnemann sweet thanks for the info. That's what I did with my SCX24 build, while researching the SCX24 I kinda sussed out that they aren't much cop as a stock truck, so went full aftermarket with it, I think it's a good setup but being quite a noob to the scene I'm not 100% about it.
Aside from the color scheme, i thought the body with the cage were a good combo, cages put weight up high, the rig seemed top heavy, maybe just needed limiting straps. The chassis rails look like a great design, but need a bit more angle?.. to avoid catching as it did. Of course the drive shaft. Tires bigger. Rig too heavy. No springs is a noob thing that wont go away. You'll get better traction with a properly functioning shock setup. I'm absolutely sure that most of you will disagree. Overall i would rate it above average, unless we don't include most rigs. Many rigs are super crappy. But overall it's a great rig!... just needs some fine tuning.
I'm trying to figure out why in 24th scale guys, like the rubber bands over a good sprung shock set-up. I couldn't imagine running rubber bands on my 10th scale sporty.
@@bergcrawler1 I think 10th shocks are a lot better and tunable than the smaller 24 shocks... (i may be wrong I have absolutely no idea about anything ever)
My opinion… your assessment on the links are correct. However, the parts that are made for these rigs are not tested enough or correctly to ensure this does not happen. It’s just hey let’s make some bent links, call them high clearance and people will buy them no matter what. Unfortunately that’s our hobby but I love our hobby. There is just not a crazy amount of money flowing for R&D in this industry.
You can easy make your own not high clearence links from parts of AE. I use aluminium with inner thread (find them on hifi or computer shops), maching threaded rods and link joints. Cost me some bucks for tons of links. I don't understand, why more and more people driving shocks without springs, so only the weight of the wheel and parts of the rig provide for the contact between wheel and ground. I think this works only with a very aggressive tire trad on a dry ground with lots of spots to interlock. Maybe someone can give me an explantion for that. But all in all a cool rig. And no matter how hard my day was, allways get something to love from you YEP. This second tries to get the word correctly out of your mouth nearly allways give me a fit of laughter.
Different size, lenght, tire size , geometry then a SCX24 so taking them on the same lines is difficult but it does need bigger tires to help it clear & get the back tires over edges. Also it seemed like it didn’t have any overdive. But you don’t see a lot of M’s set up as LCG rigs most seem to be set up as trail rigs. I have the Ford F- 150 High Trail & it’s awesome but it’s never going to be a LCG rig I see Injora selling the carbon chassis rails labeled as LCG for it which makes no sense. It’s a High Trail😂
I would love to send you my Scx24, but 1. I live in the EU 2. You would insult my sh*tty rig so bad that I would need to change name and country.. seeing how THESE rigs are “average” 😂
How you gona send a body that you can’t scratch 😂😂and a truck and that has an instructional voicemail on how to open the lid off the chassis!?! Guy sounds like a real winner alright 😂😂and that truck looks kinda trash to me
