    I installed all of the wiring,temp gauge,and VOLTMETER,plus the dash and turn sig. indicator bulbs,before installing cluster into the dash. I used an A.A.W. kit,for the '55-'59 Chevy trucks. I went with a 4-way flasher,and after-market turn signal. Techs are extremely informed,and very helpful. You pay a little more for their harness,but I'm extremely satisfied! Nice job!!

  • @dfwdan70

    Hello, Sir . Question how were you able to use original steering wheel with I-didit column? I didn't think the original would fit onto those? What exactly did you have to do if you don't mind me asking?

    • @Gibson63.
      @Gibson63.  2 роки тому

      When I ordered the Ididit column I ask for the 1963 Chevy c-10 column they told me it would work with my original steering wheel, I did have to shave a little plastic down from the center horn

Let me know if you would want to talk a little more in depth about it.

    What kind of paint is that? Does it come in a chrome color? I need a mid 1950's steering wheel (Buick or Chevy or something similar) for a show I'm doing unfortunately most of the restored wheels are way out of my budget. I thought I'd try to restore one myself. Any suggestions? Very grateful for any advice.

    I guess it's OK to ask since everyone always asks me; do you have a "target" end date??? I'm curious to see how your answer compares with mine. ;o)

    • @Gibson63.
      @Gibson63.  9 років тому

      Don't realy have a time date at all, I frame houses for a living and sometimes I get realy tied up but get slow in the winter I'm just going with the flow hopefully by the end of spring I'll have the bed on
