Superior Engineering Hyperflex Arms - Unboxing & Install + Results!

- In this video I unbox and install a brand new set of Superior Engineering Hyperflex Radius Arms into the Patrolin_aus GQ Patrol.
By upgrading from the old style Superflex arms this increases handling on & offroad, and Increases the articulation of the front Diff for improved offroad performance! One of the major differences between the 2 arms is the way the arm is mounted onto the chassis. The new Hyperflex arms incorporate an 80 series Toyota Landcruiser bush which allows for better performance and less binding up. This can increase flex and the lifetime of your bushes.

Great video, well done
Cheers
enjoying the video editing style mate. It takes a bit of editing to get it this nice aha
Cheers mate
now you just need to coil swap you zuke and install the old stuff on it.
On my 79 I’m about to put my 3inch lift in Should I do the radius arms first or install the new springs and shocks first
Wonder if you could have just got exactly same set of arms without drop boxes and sold the non superflex pair
Sorry. I don’t quite understand what you mean?
The drop boxes are to get away from the pin style mount which limits flex
Is the GQ engineered for anything? or do you just hope the hwp don't find you.
Yep patrol is engineered
@@Patrolinaus was the engineering process straight forward? Any tips on achieving this?
@@Kiwigd Talk to your engineer before
So what was the difference after the swap?
The superflex arms (old) have a pin patrol style chassis mount which binds up and limits travel, where the Hyperflex use an 80 series style bush with a Dropbox. This allows more up and down travel. The was the arms mount to the diff are also designed differently. You can compare them further with more detail on the Superior Engineering Website: www.superiorengineering.com.au

Yeah I understand that I ment did you see / feel a difference?
Was hoping for a before and after picture showing the change.
ya coil has a 4 inch gap at that flex ! without the extended cones youd have an issue yeah ? is it worth installing these with only 2 inch springs ? i ant down travel without having the car too tall
