Hi! Dream job😍 im about to graduate college with marketing degree, and it seems all luxury jobs want 3 years of experience! How can I start with a job that will sustain me?
im about to go to scad as a fashion marketing and management major, do you think excelling with this degree (as you are) will be difficult for me? considering this is what I want to do, I feel like this major is very straightforward and should lead me directly to where I want to be but everyone says different things.
Oh I forgot to add that i would not mind a 3 hrs commute once a week either and I’m older than you 52 and time to myself is the best after raising 5 kids
I'll definitely do a video on this but fashion (both runway and commercial brands) will be super helpful but if you live in an area that may not have big brands just getting local internships at a nearby boutique or creative agency/studio will be great as well.

Absolutely! Your degree doesn't matter as much as your experience. I would advise to look into fashion/retail internships which doesn't always have to be luxury in nyc you can get great experience locally as well and stay up to date on trends! Good luck!

This is such an exciting time for you! - I LOVE my job and I feel grateful to say that because I know many people who can't. Like any job it comes with its own stresses but if this is truly what you want to do than your able to take the good with the bad. I studied marketing and concentrated in digital marketing.

Marketing is a great degree to pursue simply because its so versatile. Its applicable to a lot of different industries and I may be bias but its usually the most fun in the corporate world!
