I like you because you are honest with your experiences. You express what I’ve felt many times up there. “I’m declaring this ‘one of my spots.” I love these videos you made.
Jeremy, you have produced another spectacular video of your amazing journey! Please keep using the "we" as you record because it really makes us, the viewers, feel like we are right there, with you.
Thank you. I guess using "we" instead of "I" just comes naturally because it feels like I am never alone when the camera is rolling. It makes viewers feel like they're a part of the experience.
I can’t imagine that steep climb, well yes I can. I’ve done a couple in my younger days but never enjoyed them and my canoe is not as heavy as yours. At least the climb paid off with that huge walleye. I’m looking forward to Part 4.
The biggest danger up there is slipping on a rock or twisting your ankle. You are right: you must be aware of every step every day. One false move and your trip is over. Now consider you are half way into the park and you bust yourself up too bad to move… and before there were Zoleos. Imagine how many steps Dorothy Molter was aware of over her life of living on Knife Lake.
Hey Jeremy, I think we saw you on Sarah. Apparently the only people you or we saw above North Bay. Glad to see you made it through ok. I've been watching for the video. Good job.
Yes that was me you met on Sarah heading back. Watch all the Parts of the video series to see everything that happened on that awesome solo trip! More Quetico to come!
great videos I have a question, I'm looking to purchase a canoe for camping and wanted to know if you have any recommendations (specific canoe or size?). Id want to be able to use to canoe either solo or with one other person and camping gear. Also id prefer to use a kayak paddle which would you recommend? Thanks!
Would recommend buying a used one first. New canoes are super expensive now. 15 ft or longer if you plan on using for a tandem canoe. Weight stability and material all matter depending on what type of canoeing you will be doing. Bending branches angler scout double blade paddles are versatile and well balanced.
The best thing about going solo is you get to decide the schedule and everyone listens to you.

The sounds of the water hitting the canoe is a sound you never forget, just like the sound of a mosquito buzzing your ear, but for opposite reasons.

Your "spot" really hit home, too.

I probably should have enjoyed the portages a little bit more but triple carrying solo is not much fun.
Keep 'em coming dude! Great stuff!
Thanks! Will do!
Man, I'll pass on that portage.
That portage was so tough that if I filmed it the camera would have broke!!!

Knowing a few basic knots is a must and you aren’t the only one to put it off. I’ll be doing the same thing and taking a similar book.

Thanks for watching. Also be sure to watch the entire series. Some of the lakes on the route will be disclosed in the upcoming videos. Stay tuned.....

@@mywaterzmywoodz awesome thank you
The canoe you saw me using in the video I bought for $160 from the side of the road. Alumnacraft 17' shallow.
A Christian doesn’t use the LORD’s name in vain, nor his son’s name. Why don’t Heathens use the name of one of their false gods if they don’t believe?
