The unique thing about Vinnie is that he played ROCK. Steve Vai, Yngvie Malmstern, etc. a lot of shredders play neo-classical and that’s cool but Vinnie was shredding in a rock environment which is still pretty unusual. I don’t think Vinnie even did drugs, he just has some mental issues going on. The guy is a total anomaly & that’s why I like his playing.
Some mental issues? He never worked well with any band member and now he's ripping people off... you're short if you say "some mental issues" hahahah specially considering that the guy now doesn't even play
