Great video Paul and amazing work by Alex, watching this is actually making me more excited to share the full plugin integration coming soon making this a breeze 😊....also just an FYI you don't actually need an account for CS cloud to view Alex codevault or any of his Snippets🎉
Paul, this is great! Kudos to you Alex! I already see at least 3 more plugins being removed from my sites. No more plugin bloat😊 Not too sure about the E-book, but I surely will be donating, if the site allows me to donate in U.S. dollars.
Hello, I am watching your videos regularly and have learned a lot, but I have a question and am a bit confused about which builder I should use: elementor or Gutenberg. I want to start my blog, and to be honest, I am not very familiar with Gutenberg, which really makes me confused. Please guide it, and if possible, make a video on it, and let us know how long we can go with the elemntor.
Hello i am looking for your help. I am creating Book Website and have created variable product with 4 attributes Ex. New, Used, Soft Cover and Hard Cover. now I want to here give attribute value (amount) validation if variation New-Soft coer selected and attribute variabe amount is $100than another button option come as Buy if selected variation New-Hard and attribute variable amount is Above $300 than 2 button option come as 1 Buy and 2nd Rent and in rent button selection another radio box come With 4 Radio box choices..like 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months. how i can achieve this i spent almost 15+ hours but no plugin and options found on internet... i know you are genius can you create snippet for me and share with me. thanks
The ebook link at Alex's site is broken. Give all your info upfront and get nothing in return. Typical for a tech company. Not sure I want to download code that has no security patches or automatic updates, if he can't keep the link active to the bait for your data.
Fair play, there are an awful lot of assumptions in the statement. Why not simply email Alex and let him know the link isn't working - seems like a more productive approach over bad mouthing someone trying to do good in the community.
@@WPTuts Alex's unsubscribe dialog doesn't have an option to type why you unsubscribe. It just allows for out-of-date customer service radio button responses. That leaves you blind to things like broken links, and other UX. This is in line with putting snippets on your page to remove the checkout dialog box "Order Notes" as your video documents. Each WP or Woo update/upgrade might conflict with your snippet, and you have no idea a month or a year from now what's causing the conflict between that snippet and deprecated extensions. Also, in this impersonal online world, your customer needs ways to communicate with you. Taking away dialog boxes seems to be yours and Alex's go-to, rather than being up-to-date on hacks, vulnerabilities, and in this case, broken links that a potential customer exchanges their data for. Our personal data is our currency online. Contacting Alex means I have to wait for him to decide that I'm worthy, and continue to give him data, info, and my time. I agreed to something through his code. He changed his agreement without notice, and didn't take down the solicitation, or update the link, likely because he's still getting what he wants out of the transaction. Very impersonal. Now, go ahead and tell me why I'm wrong on all of this, rather than fixing it, or bumping Alex to update his link. You're shooting in the wrong direction, Tex. When you're admonishing a customer (or viewer) for sharing their experience, you're already doing it wrong.
@@WPTuts Maybe don't admonish your viewers for sharing their experience. Maybe, since you have the relationship, bump Alex and tell him you both have a problem with a conversion funnel. This is a business you're running, right? Our data is our currency online, and Alex (and you by extension of promoting him) have a broken transaction. There is no "refund" for data, once shared. Your obligation is not met.
@@herbhoover I'm not admonishing you, just stating that it isn't fair to make disparaging comments about Alex's integrity when he is sharing a lot of useful snippets and information for no financial outlay. And, just for clarity, I don't know Alex and have no relationship with him. This video was put together to simply promote his efforts and hopefully get him some more exposure. So, I don't track what is happening on his site or have any correspondence with him.
@@WPTuts Tell me why both you and Alex remove the opportunity for customer input, when you clearly are responsive here. This baffles me. You can learn valuable things from dialog boxes on your site, but you show how to remove them in this video, and Alex doesn't provide one on his unsub page. He could actually be alerted to the fact that there's a broken link without me asking him to respond to the transaction I already completed by providing my data (name, email, AND phone -- which is a pretty cheeky ask for a broken link, I might add, on top of sharing your Facebook profile by subscribing to his group.). Now I have to invest more time to potentially be turned down. Why would any customer continue to try to overcome these hurdles for a freebie when it's potentially and likely a dead end? The simple fact that it doesn't work tells most, if not all of the story.
Thank you Paul for bringing this to us. I was looking for something like this. Alex we appreciate your work, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
THAT T-SHIRT THOUGH!! ❤❤❤
Great video and promo/support for Alex - awesome :)

Paul, thanks for that awesome nugget of info! Great stuff as always!
You are always doing extremely useful videos. Well done!
What a great collection. Thanks for sharing and bug kudos for Alex :)

Awesome. I can see some of these code snippets will be useful and the eBook sounds great. Will definitely add some to WP CodeBox.
Great source of information, Thanks Paul.

Question, is there a different code for Virtual Products or will the same code work?
One more super helpful video 👍
gem vlog

Cant these be put in the functions.php also? I hate code snippet plugins I get the convenience, or maybe laziness.
You can. But you should use a child theme first
