I listen to this 4 part series over and over. This is the best Cajun band out there. Bruce has the best voice of any of the bands and all 4 members are TOP instrumental players.
Cajun music hit me like a brick in the mid 90’s. Fabulous. Saw Bruce perform in Lafayette way back in 1996 and it was unforgettable. The music and dancing together create a sensory feast. However, it led me to discover Zydeco which is even better in my opinion.The music of (the late) Beau Jocque is the best of that genre.
@Bob Waldock The description says it's called Le Diable Est Lache: The Devil Is Loose. But he seems to be singing Le Diable Est Fache: The Devil Is Angry. Either one is quite appropriate! 😄 It's a hypnotizing sound.
This style of music should be issued with a goverment health warning because if your not tapping your feet and wanting to get up and dance you must be dead, well done guys happy Irish man
