This band just ooze professional quality & happiness, it's infectious, can't help loving everything they perform, I'll never be able to see them live but this comes really close,Thanks to Deep End Sessions.
Caleb Klauder is, by far, the best mandolin player I have ever heard! Anybody can play chords but, he is note for note with the fiddle! In my opinion, that's the way a mandolin should be played!
Caleb is good but he only plays one style. Everyone has their opinion and their favorite. My favorite by far is Mary Myers a young blue grass star. She recently signed a one year contract with Nashville as the best solo mandolin player of the year. Check her out. She still hangs with the John Myers blue grass band. She also plays with Hillary Klug, Mo Pitney, and a rising star from montana (can’t remember his name)
4 brilliant musicians playing, singing, harmonizing, enjoying what they are performing and having fun and yes there is a glint in Kaleb and Reebs eye contact❤
Yes truly ,as you said. And as for the glint in Reebs eyes, seems she's deep in thought, kind of like something she's trying to resolve, or decide. She's such a special person . Kudos!💖
Yes!! There are folks still out there that know what real music is and know and love ❤️ to make it. Great , Grew up on this in the hills of remote East Tn. In the Early 50’s. There was a time it was played on stage in Nashville -WSM. Greed came to town and tried to kill it But, It still Survives !!’❤
It survives because it comes from thevheart and soul of those who found in it , relief and joy ; an antidote to the hard wrought lives lived by so many in those parts from which this music comes. This music is “ good medicine “ for anyone these days, if they open their ears and listen deeply. 💖🎻🪕
I never get tired of listening to this great music that I grew up with in Canada now a old man still my favourite music, You folks are fantastic together. Thank You.
Thank you we really appreciate what you's are doing in keeping these lovely old tunes alive. I play a bit of Jazz with a couple of my friends. I play vibes. We just love music from all around the world. Music is good for bringing people together. There's a lot of trouble in the world from war in some places and now this pandemic has killed so many poor people and upset so many families. We are all on lockdown. We are all so skerd of it. We say ok to the world.
holly smooks folks, Can't get closter to true American music than this. It 's so good to see an audiance appreciate this special music . I'd make Ken Burns proud. Hell yah!!
If you haven't copyrighted "'Holly Smooks!" for your personal use, I will gladly add it to my vocabulary ... Sounds like something wonderful from a 1939 radio show. :-)
I found them (again) by chance when they appeared on UA-cam when I opened it the other night. I say "again" because, completely by chance, I had the pleasure, and the privilege, to see them live in Dublin back in July 2012 when an old friend and I went to see "some bluegrass band" one evening. We applauded politely when the local support act finished up and waited to see what came next. These folks came onstage, made some very brief introductions before the fiddle player started to saw-off some opening bars...it was electrifying, the crowd were cheering, clapping and foot-stomping along in about 5 seconds flat! Absolutely fantastic!
How I miss live music house parties. When I was a kid, they would empty the largest room in the house of most of the furniture so everyone could dance. I find it difficult to this day to sit and listen to these tunes. This is not sit and listen music, it's dancing music! This has inspired me. I'm going to have to get together some friends and have an old time house party with music and dancing.
I think the mandolin player and guitar lady have a glint in the eye for each other .... there’s love in the air definitely.... yehaw Wow I love the bass player she’s super musician ... what a bunch of great musicians
Ooohhhhh yeah! I noticed that too. She's got the fever! All kidding aside though, I'm so happy I stumbled upon this band. I don't normally listen to this type of music, but they have me hooked like a fish on a line. ❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic music! Wow!! I am a Tennessean, and I can say with confidence these here folks will fit in anywhere in East (by golly) Tennessee. Bring it on!
Quel binheur de vous écoutez en country music , les voix , les instruments et , il ne se passe pas un jour sans vous entendre sur UA-cam !!! Merciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii jack from FRANCE

It’s been a while since I’ve visited for a head and soul cleaner. They recharge my batteries, remind me how amazing life is. Thanks to the band , America and technology. Suddenly feel like I’m sat round a fire in the Appalachians . I’m in northern England but can see the trees on the Pennines.
Thank goodness for that. I had a Country-Rock/Western -Swing group in France for about 15 years .It helped keep me grounded to my Texas country roots. ua-cam.com/video/iV1_S0E6Fx0/v-deo.html

Great Old time Band, Reminds me of the old time bands I heard in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia during my childhood in the 1970"s...The banjo player is playing a Bacon Belmont Banjo from the 1940's. My Grandfather and Dad played the same model which they got from the Montgomery Ward.
Caleb has revived Blue Grass for me, 70 years ago I joined the Air Force (RCAF)and London Ontario was boot camp and this radio station WWVA Wheeling West Virginia was my introduction to Blue Grass , thanks for the revival and don’t stop the show is tremendous.
There's no music video better than this! The musicians, the sound, the room, the audience. It's as close to being there as it gets - and the camera work is perfect! Everyone involved is to be congratulated for making this an unforgettable experience.

Yes, he is awfully good. Tjere are those in touring bands who may, or may not be better, but he has an authenticity that is pitch perfect.
Listening to Foghorn Stringbans is like having friends or family playing for you ! The ultimate Old Time Music.

The band sounds great. I was wondering what type of mics you are using
Mr. Mike they're a pair of Beyerdynamic MC834's.
This IS dancing music and they’re all seated like some sort of spectator.
@@muddymike they were probably told to for the sake of the video recording
Your rythum guitarist and the bass players are the backbone of this group. The men are the muscle.
That's a perfect way to put it!
My pal, Caleb Klauder. We worked together at the Monroe Mandolin Camp. He's the real deal.
