Man I miss that dude we had some incredible years together.
The best part of watching him entertain , was you knew he was having more fun than you where , that is Zydeco
Who ever thought an accordion could look and sound so cool. Buckwheat Zydeco rocks!!
Saw Buckwheat Zydeco in the early 90's. It was an outdoor show, and somehow they STILL blew the lid off the joint.
THIS is New Orleans! THIS is great. God Bless Buckwheat!
Whoever came up with the joke about a gentleman being someone who could play the accordion but didn't, never heard this stuff.
I 1st saw Stanley in 1988, Capital Center, outside Wash DC. He opened for Eric Clapton. Buckwheat had that arena ROCKIN . . he had everybody excited. I’m from S. La. and since I took every opportunity to catch him in our area. He never disappointed . . I miss him and his live performances ! !
I heard that on that tour when he first came on stage with an accordion the audience’s booed and then he won them over during the first song.
Miss the good old days when Buck used to perform in Houston...my Aunt Leta Jones use to book him at our church.
Killer bass guitar work. I love this style of music... I really want to visit the Big Easy one day.
R.I.P. Thank you for many years of soul stirring music. Your music will live on.

Rest in Peace to Stanley ‘Buckwheat Zydeco’ Dural, Jr., Ambassador of Zydeco. I have had some really great memories of seeing Buckwheat at "Tippitina's" and the "Jazz Fest" in New Orleans many times. He will be missed.

Wonderfull, smoking ,it picks you up and brings your senses alive!
It will be very sad if no young ones don't carry Buckwheat's and their own style of Zydeco onwards!
In Buckwheat's "Don't leave me" I was so blown away with the overall presentation, but the horn playing in this track was, without a doubt in my mind as a DJ, simply supurb!
Pure entertainment 😘😃😄😆gods children at play

BB King of Zydeco, RIP Brother, my opinion
Stanley Dural is one of Louisiana"s GREATEST ambassador's when it comes to music. The 1st time I saw him was in 1987 when he open for Eric Clapton in Wash DC . . Buckwheat had the Cap. Center rockin !! It may not be "pure zydeco" BUT he had you dancing and moving. You always made me feel proud being from La. and my Cajun roots. RIP . . Mr. Dural,
Yep... Love that Band!🥰💯🎉👍❤️💕

Many a dance was ignited by Buckwheat's infectious jams. He could get folks' feet moving like no other. Rough couple of years for New Orleans musical legends...Allen Toussaint, Pete Fountain, and now Buckwheat. Rest in peace, brother. We'll keep the party going for you.
