i really like the tutorial but for me as a begginer you edit this too much. Because of all the zooming it was extremely hard to follow where i was supposed to click, so i had to watch the same clips multiple times to get it right
I really dont know if you can read my mind or not, but I've been searching for a video in after effetcs for so long but couldn't find one that I am able to understand. Suddenly you drop this masterpiece right here and boom. 5 Minutes, no bullshit, straight to the point and another huge extra point: It's my favourite person, camilo castaneda. I can't express how muhc I appreciate your work bro. Keep it up, you definitely deserve the world!
thanks. I always felt like a noob choosing aftereffects over premiere although i personally like it more. This video made me more confident. But whats up with this weird LALALALALA music xDD
Thanks for the tutorial. after marking the clips "Replace with after effects composition" is greyed out / not available but after effects is properly installed.
What about frames of the footage ? If you shooted in 50p for a 25p sequence, how do you know that you don't go under 50% of speed and loose frames / seconds because the footage don't have enough frames ? In PP it's easy to just go at 50%, but in AE, how will you know when you go under 50% of speed in the speedramping ? Thanks
That is a true factor which I solve by just visually seeing when my frames get choppy. But it can be annoying which is why I’m going to also do a tutorial using twixtor
When I cut the clip in PR and imported it into AE, after using time remapping in AE, for example to speed up, the video that was originally cut was reintroduced into this clip, is it a problem with my operation?
Ae is totally better for speedramps but you can reverse speed ramp in premiere pro also. Just add point while clicking alt/control (i forgot which one). But it is not advanced as aftereffects. Love your content!
When I enable time remapping on a stabilized motion clip, even precomposed, it starts to shaking suddenly like its no stabilization. Who knows how to fix it?
Great tutorial! I've found myself in a situation where I've done the track stabilisation first and then wanted to do the speed ramping but when i try to do that the clip is out of the stabilisation, is there any fix to that or do i have to just start again and add the stabilisation after? thank you
Bro you missed the most important option that was to double click the frame blending option to get an arrow sign on the layer. It makes your time remap smooth
Little tip to make the ramp smooth: 1. On the bottom left of your screen, the place with the layers... You'll see little boxes at the end, with columns on top 2. Find the column of the FX box, and the box with three circles. 3. Double click the box in-between them, the box should show an arrow pointing right. Then, just watch the clip again and viola! If you dont see the boxes, press the little switch mode button at the bottom
maybe gear this towards advance tutorial as you just speed clicked through the entire thing without showing anything. you lost me at step 1. where are you clicking?
Dope video explanation. QUESTION: Is it best then to layout clips in the order you want in Premier, do color correction, add the music track, THEN highlight it all and replace with after effects composition and do as you showed in this video? Does that sound like the right workflow? Thanks!
hi sir ,i need help, i have done follow your tutorial before but, why my graphic speed ramp not like "easy ease"?? ,its like "easy in" i used After Effect 2021
How can i achieve this with capcut mobile? To syncronize the music to the speed ramps...coz as soon as i add music and speed ramps...the clips become shorta and dont match the beats
LMAO when you specified how hard it is for Premiere Pro i legit laughed so hard man, when i tried my first time SR on premiere i exactly said what you said "damn on AE it's easier"
After the speed ramp ends the footage is really slow and choppy. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm trying to get the rest of the clip to playback normally
Great tutorial but I have a question. Why does it looks all choppy? I filmed in 30fps and of course, using speedramp this way will automatically create a problem about missing frames right? Because of the strech of the time with the keyframe. Do I need to film at more fps to have a smoother result? Thanks a lot
Or you can use Timewarp effect to create interpolated frames to make it smooth, but it works only if the clips are simple, otherwise you'll have artifacts! If you want to know more about it just search on youtube "timewarp fake slowmotion"
i have an issue . when i click on enable time remapping two key frames are made at the start and end of the video automatically , but in your video you are manually adding key frames is it an issue or i dont know anything about after effects . please help
If you're doing this without original sound (for instance the grinding sound on a skateboard trick) then it really is much simpler to do this directly in Premiere (or Davinci which is the simplest of time remapping workflows). Unless you are specifically integrating an AE only effect or wanting to also ramp the original sound then I'm not sure what the benefit of AE time remapping really is.
@@camicees Sorry I forgot to say nice video! I shot cars mainly with iPhone 14 pro, dji mini 3 pro and smooth 5s and I transfer my edit process in CapCut. Ofcourse I’m not always satisfied with quality but there a lot of advantages in mobile shooting and editing. I found your car videos very helpful!
camiloo doesnt only teaches something but entertains as well which is the reason i watch his videos even though idk anything about premiere pro and after effects
Loved the tips! After easing the keyframes, my video "stalls" for a frame or two before continuing...which looks not so good 😩 Smoothing out the keyframes with the graph editor doesn't solve It. Suggestions?
At 4:56 you mention a video about tracking in after effects, but there are no links or embedded clips there, and the next video recommendation is about the glitch effect not the stabilization. BTW that is the secret to those super smooth looking edits, so after you teach it to everyone, you are done. :D
tried this also, speedramp alone is nice but the section between the keyframes are much slower than without the remaping sometimes it stops?! any trick? i film most of the time 15-20sec clips of one movement and this does not work for me dafuq ._.'
Here is my problem. In a 30fps clip If I go Lower than 60% speed the footage gets choppy so how can you tell how far you have gone or how do you add optical flow?.. Also the layer doesn't get shorter when I speed up the clip so I always have to find the spot where the last frame is to put the other clip on top etc... I wish there was a way to put values? is there? I know people use Twitter for it but it's very expensive. Any advice I would appreciated thank you! Your video was very helpful by the way
If you want to slow things down further you should shoot at a higher frame rate. I always shoot 50fps so i can slow things down if needed. One quick hack is to click the frame blending button which adds some frame blending and can fix some of the choppiness. I usually start by firstly keyframing all the points i want to speed ramp and then re-size the clip after i have done the ramps. That helps me with clip alignment
interesting, there are many ways to do it, personally, I just use 2 keyframes for each frame the first being an ease out and the second being an ease in then smooth the graphs into the middle. I find it easier and it looks a lot cleaner.
But do you have to do everything in after effect first and then edit the colors in premier pro afterwards? Or what do you do first? Sorry for my bad english
i really like the tutorial but for me as a begginer you edit this too much. Because of all the zooming it was extremely hard to follow where i was supposed to click, so i had to watch the same clips multiple times to get it right

cant agree with this one. In Premiere you can also reverse your speedramp and it doesnt take that long as in Ae
To each their own bro!
No twixtor?
I know a lot of people dont want to buy twixtor but that is awesome!
Editing in Premiere, Coloring in Davinci, Speedramping in After Effects... I hate my life 🤣 Thanks for the tutorial!
bro tell me about it!! LOL
and making shots in blender (for me)

When I cut the clip in PR and imported it into AE, after using time remapping in AE, for example to speed up, the video that was originally cut was reintroduced into this clip, is it a problem with my operation?
I'm very confused with this thing, because after I change the speed there is always the material that I cut out before
this is great but in the graph at 3:41 - I need the line in BETWEEN the ramps to be linear, not ramped
man i was struggling so much trying to figure things out on my own, now everything is CLEAR. Thanks!

yeah my silly ass discovered that after i edited it but couldnt be bothered to re-shoot thanks!
Wait how does it work exactly?
When I enable time remapping on a stabilized motion clip, even precomposed, it starts to shaking suddenly like its no stabilization. Who knows how to fix it?
after effects? jajajajajajajaja
*Controversial* but true: Premiere Pro is for people who aren't skilled enough to use After Effects 😬
4:18 - God's Country wow ( 5 MONTHS Ago before release )
When i make the key frames "easy ease" they seem to freez frame or drop fame rate some how after the last easy ease frame. I dont know whats going on
Actually, you can reverse speed with speed ramping in premiere , just press ctrl and drag the frame to the right
Me watching this video after even dont properly know how to use capcut
Twixtor🛐
Coming sooooo
where is the video mencioned at 4'56''????
1 key frame at the beginning and ending + value graph is way better than this
premire should have tracking like AE smh
