When you complete the first void mission you'll unlock the terminal to do public or solo on normal or hard. The genetic boxes are supplements to level up your dog. The experimental boxes are the material you need to craft your dog. At the end of the boss fight a box pops up. Select the box with the type of dog you want to get. You just need 4 parts to craft it. My freind unlocked him quickly.
