I don't understand how what she said makes any sense as a response to him. He said that he has been sent tons of similar products from different companies, meaning the market is flooded with companies selling the same product so why should they invest in this particular company. I don't watch the show and have no idea who he is, but it feels like most people just hate him and are just happy to see someone stand up to him, even though it doesn't really make sense.

Can't believe how negative people are towards this guy? He was homeless and now a multi millionaire, and he's gone out of his way to make podcasts to help the normal human become better financially, physically, mentally by having many different guests. Nothing but respect for this grafter.
He should understand that other people aren't identical copies of himself. Some artists can spend hours making an image on a grain of rice. That's not most people and a product for an artist who does something like that isn't for someone unable to sit still for long periods to focus on something specific. It's not about him. A person who doesn't use makeup can still invest in a profitable makeup company even if he doesn't himself use such products. Such a person may not have a core competence in that industry but can still make money with a buy and hold.
She completely missed the point. He meant that there are too many competitors in the market. Too many companies buying these massage guns from some supplier in China, putting their logo on it and selling it just like them.
I think ppl in the comments are missing the point... hes saying that the market is saturated with products just like theirs. Why should they invest in something thats already booming on the market sold by lots of competitors... not even athletes have use for multiple massage guns, The point is that their target audience likely already has this product... Edit: to correct spelling
She didn’t overcome the objection at all. She didn’t even isolate his objection. She went into defence mode rather than thinking about what Steven had said. @@mintcrisp94it was his choice of words trying to prove that point you just described. He chose his wording poorly and got humbled based on that. Plus his scoff doesn’t help lol but yeah your point isn’t wrong, just his execution
Finally a good comment lol…That’s the point he’s trying to make before she goes off on a meaningless rant
Well done and excellently responded. I think at times certain dragons get personal rather than thinking about it outside the box for those the idea is intended for. In every product there are variants but only one or two are the game changer and best.
Why is Gary Neville on there 😂
£
Dragon Gary
He was out of work for those 2 hours so I've heard.
He's a business man who invests.
Needs more dosh since all the Qatari blood-payments dried up.
The other Dragons literally laughing at him was the best part 😂
But what makes her product stand out amongst the rest? He is absolutely right. There are so many of these on the market so why is hers any different?
He poorly articulated that point, wording it such that it could be interpreted as saying the product is "bad because he doesn't use them as a whole" instead of "bad because they're all the same".
It was the conversation and how it was said. Very belittling. Like he was some expert on it. Such a jerk.
@@DuchessAnastasia how is he a jerk? You missed the point just like the lady in the video, and you also got emotional like her lol
@@yahyawarsi2632 Exactly. He was making a very good point which she would of understood if they didn't cut him off to try "shut him down".
If she wants to be a successful business women she needs to learn to keep her ego in check and listen to everyone, you never know when someone will give you good advice.
Of course, if after discussing it she thought it was a poor take she's welcome to come back at him, but she clearly is just to fragile to run a business if this is how she reacts to the mildest of criticism.
She’s so right. Very well done. She didn’t miss a beat either. She’s a great advocate for her product. It’s not just sales. She’s advocating. For her product and her customer.
He’s the worst dragon. No investment, no knowledge just a brought and paid for shill
Eh the whole dragon shit is ultimately just about people who have money, needing to be convinced to invest said money into whatever crap is dragged into the studio this time. They always love to overestimate their personal skills. Uber got 0 investments when it first got there and have a guess how much that's worth now. These people ultimately don't know anything special.
He’s ticking them boxes tho 👍🏼👀
The BBC loves trendy ethnic people.
@@Truthseeker6859You love BBC 😂
Brought and paid for 😂 , seriously when will people understand the difference between brought and bought its really not that difficult.
I'm so proud of her she did well standing up for herself and he kind of liked it you could tell
Excellent come back. Clear and cutting through his objections
I love that she knows who she's selling to... so many don't have a customer in mind and it can make them fail so quick...
That Huel guy is in over his head. Just because you get lucky with a line in plastic food doesn’t mean you have the stripes to be a dragon

She smashed it 🔥🔥🔥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Seriously, he's at a spa all day. She shut him down where he was speechless. Love it!
He is so up himself and walked into that
Walked into what? Her point was non-sensical. He stated that the market is flooded with similar products and she responded saying he isn't their core customer, which is completely irrelevant to his point...

Vibrating foam roller, that's all people need. Anyone is welcome to steal that idea, cheers.
Huge respect for this lady. Highly cerebral. She went there prepared
The people in the comments letting their small ego rage get in the way of the fact hes pointing out the sheer amount of massage guns that are exactly the same as hers out right now, you literally cant go on any social media without seeing an ad for one of these from multiple brands
But he didn't articulate it well. He should of just said the market is saturated.
@@yapyap333 He was cut off before he could finish his point. If she kept her ego in check and listened she might have learnt something.
She shut the door on all negativity with a smile and charm. ❤
Good for her!!!
Shutting up his dismissive remark while also communcating that she knows who her target audience is. Classy and smooth
She did not understand the objection and I actually agree. There are so many massage guns out there I would be hard pressed to believe one is so much more different than the rest
The look on his face was priceless. That was the most polite clapback ever.

Knowing your core customer is key to success. Power lady 🔥
I've never seen him on this show, but I watch his podcast and it's really good.
I have no idea why people seem to hate him so much.
She wasn’t insulting when she made a point and stated a fact. Brilliant 📝
Made her own point whilst completely ignoring and dismissing his...not so brilliant tbh.
Agree to disagree.
As soon as people get some money they think the sun shines out their arse.
Not always and I’ve probably met worse poor people… sure a rich man will short change you to save a few quid however a poor man will stab you in the back and take your whole damn wallet 😂😂😂
That brought him straight back down to earth.
She's right that he isn't their core customer but I think his point was more that their product isn't anything new (which it isn't).
The funny thing is that he literally is the target audience though 🤣 people who workout that's the target audience and all he is saying the market is saturated which isn't wrong
She owned that situation and dealt with the object from Stephen. It’s just one opinion and there’s always ways to respond and move past it. Good job.
Our core customer aren't the ignorant masses that don't bother to research real products
But let's ask them money to grow our business idea that not even and original product. They're all over the place.
That was great! Loved her answer
Saw this episode and the Dragons were soooo impressed with this women 👏❤️
That Steven bloke is so up himself. Tell us more about how successful you are Steven. There’s surely people you haven’t told yet.
She doesnt know that. He is actually honest and is one of the best guys who gives us good knowledge through his incredible podcast.
She must know who her core audience are, and plus he was peaking of his experience that he doesn't use them-that means nothing!
His point is that the market is oversaturated with massage guns.
Which he could have said just that, but instead, he chose arrogance and decided to flex on how much free products gets sent to him....
That nod at the end was like he thought, hmm actually well played mam. 😂
Well done for her. She wasn’t rude and put him in his place
He'll deliberately hire her just to fire her for making perfect sense
She was like shut the 🤬 up !!
She didn’t overcome the objection at all. She didn’t even isolate his objection. She went into defence mode rather than thinking about what Steven had said. This response from her shows her naivety as a business owner to the dragons. Steven made the comment because he is adept in this business. He is sent the samples and the pitches. He has the acumen to decipher the market segment. She didn’t refer to key differentiators from the other business. Problem with naive business owners is they talk before they listen. Get better at asking questions and listening to responses.
How is this a “shut down” in any way? All she did was make him not want to invest in an annoying little girl and alienated anyone who relates to him/agrees with his point.
This is an odd point of view given the reason she’s there in the first place
