Vince McMahon was the best thing for WWE up until 2009 I believe. Despite my dislike for his booking later on. He gave us so many great memories in our childhood. I will always be thankful for his brilliance in the industry. Unfortunately, he lost his way. But I trust Triple H will give us older fans some of the things we loved back in the day.

He was a shrewd businessman, and he understood the psychology of the business (though he had some real turds for character gimmick ideas.) He knew the fans had to have that payoff at the end.
Speaking of payoff, I bet he asked some things of the female talent he wouldn't be willing to do. It might not count though, since it was probably less asking and more "do it or you're fired."

Actually had a nice interaction with jr on Twitter a few months ago. Jr got emotional on his podcast talking about a dark segment Vince did for jr. It was basically Vince thanking jr for all he's done for the company and his hard work. Jr got very emotional.

Man, I'm so torn about Vince. On one hand, he's by far the most entertaining heel that's ever existed, and it's not even close. I would always love any time he came out, no matter what was going on. On the other hand, I just can't get past knowing what he was doing in real life, and that's just completely ruins all of the fun memories of what he's done on screen.
