@@TechReviewTom Hello, how do you use the device? How did you download Pro Plus from Google Play? Are there any problems such as being kicked out of the game? Yours is the Chinese version. How can I use the Chinese version phone? I will buy Bumblebee Edition 9 Pro Plus Chinese version, can you help me how to use Google?
Hey man, thanks for another video, it seems that you are the only one who even realizes that pro plus is a thing, I'm very interested in the phone but i have many concerns, such as the dust in the fan, you've had the phone for a few months now, any problems ? Hard to clean ? Heating up ? I appreciate your videos a lot, big help 👍🏼.
Thanks for watching and commenting my dude 🙏. I did a lot of digging for 24 gigs of ram 😆. So dust in the fan doesn't do anything for performance I don't notice any difference tbh. It just looks a bit gross lol but that's why I like the matte version it hides everything. I don't try to clean it there's a small cage on the inside that makes it basically impossible lol. Also the phone gets hot but the specs are why it gets that way. It's packing pc specs but the fan is the best out right now nothing really comes close at all. I have a case so if it gets hot I don't notice.
@vitorferreirapires202 just read on their website about the fact you can use a paintbrush of toothbrush. Might try it myself. They said to make sure to clean in the input side not the output side and brush towards you not further into the vent. Compressed air works as well.
Great review! You make me confuse between this or rog 8 pro edition I plan to buy red magic 9 pro plus bumblebee edition or this 24 gigs better? Thx in advance
With that back design, no camera bump, and especially the SD 8 gen 3 is quite tempting. But I'll have to wait at least 5 more years and make full use before upgrading from RM8s pro to the 9 pro.
I haven't really tested pubg but the frames usually go from 29-31, 59-61, and 119-121. Since the phone has a fan it will do much better than the other two phones.
hi @techreviewtom which phone is faster/smoother between iPhone 15 pro max and the redmagic? also i assume the redmagic is more capable in games and sustained performance over time better than iphone, is it right? in terms of stability and overall software which is better? thankss
RM 9PP is better with sustained performance because of the clock speed capping at 3.30 ghz (octacore processor) 24 gigs of ram vs 6 gigs of ram, 5500 mah battery vs 4700, built in fan vs no fan. You get much better performance with the rm9 pro plus vs the iPhone 15 pm. I can do a speed test comparing the two as well 👍
Yeah, that "expandable ram" is swap. It works by mapping a file or partition (in this case, a file) to act as extra RAM for apps by using the internal storage. While UFS 4.0 is fast, it is nowhere near as fast as RAM, so it's not really expanding RAM, instead you can see it as having some breathing room for the apps/device not to crash in case you fill up the entire RAM. For the 24GB RM9+ it is pretty much useless, as there's really very few or no instances where one would actually use up all that RAM on a phone. I've got the RM9 16/512 Snowfall (love this thing, best design ever on a phone), and I never really filled up the 16GB. On that topic, I've been searching for a behavior that seems unusual on my RM9, which is that the phone uses 8 to 9GB of RAM when idling, could you install DevInfoOverlay and enable the RAM usage on the settings, and tell me how much it takes up when idling? I just wanna confirm that it is not particular to my device and happens on all RM9's. Cheers!
Yeah I probably don't need all the ram tbh I just like having the best available thing ya know? Also yeah swap definitely isn't as fast I don't use it.
@@TechReviewTom I definitely get it, I also like to go for the top specs when buying something, in this case I'd rather have the version I got 16/512 because of that 6500 mAh with 80W charging, which I value more than 5500 mAh 165W, but I wish it had 1TB of storage :D. If this phone had expandable storage, it would have been very close to perfect for me, with the only thing missing being unlocking the bootloader to enable rooting.
Like an extended battery pack or something like that? Since they all have USB C they will all work. The 9 Pro has a 6500 mah battery, the pro plus is 5500 but it is still bigger than the iphone and galaxy s24U's battery.
@@TechReviewTom hey can U make a video that is related to the floating window on redmagic 9 pro i really wanna see how it works (If ydk what I meant abt floating window is a transparent bar at the top left of the phone) Will be a great thing as I wanna see how many minimised apps it can handle Or try to open as many app including using split screen would be great 👍 Btw love Ur cotent
1:23:11 if U see the screen was minimised am oab that one it's quite hard to explain but there is a bar which is transparent and if U swipe it's show other app U can add onto and U can use that for 2nd hand use Good tip to get great aiming for distance also is use the magnifier on the red magic 9 pro gaming settings when on cod it's quite cool@@TechReviewTom
I haven't, they look great with the 4k displays! I wish I had one. The comment is pretty backhanded though. Definitely not necessary at all. The video isn't comparing Sony phones so again not sure what the smartass comment was about.
All hardware degrades with time, it doesn't matter what device you are using. iPhones, Galaxys, RM's, ect. They all degrade. You'll probably get 3 good years out of all of these phones.
Commenting for that algo engagement. Good stuff bro!
Thanks dawg 🙏🙏

RM9pro best phone design ever, hands down. android for life
Right bro it's amazing. They're actually doing something different! Finally!
Yea that and 24 ultra very similar
Nah not really bro they're pretty different tbh
Look pretty similar shape to me

There's a video in youtube who teaches how to clean the fan. It's very easy

24 gigs is better, they are both good phones, you can get a usa version of the Rog phone at 24 gigs of ram if you want to put the money for it forward

By then you should just upgrade to whatever model is out
dude that wallpaper on rm9pro is from ice cream sandwich era I think!))
Yeah man that's why I got it, I had it on my nexus 4 :D
Please i want you to recommend for me iPad pro or RM9 pro for heavy games like warzone mobile.
Thanks 🙏🏻
9 pro for sure
Not really ipad if you can play in like 8 or 6 fingers Even 10 but if you're more of a casual guy definitely the rm9 and it's also cheaper
Hey bro! Make a video showing your protective case, please?
For the Redmagic or which phone?
I can do a video on cases I use
yeap for the red magic, please

can you pls make a video of connecting the red magic 9 to pc being controlled by mouse and keyboard in gaming
👍

What mode should I use when playing codm BR and warzone mobile full of players..?? Is diablo mode over kill..??
Use rise unless it starts to lag or something, only use Diablo mode for games where rise isn't working well.
Normal mode is fine
Which is bigger phone, s24 ultra or RM 9 pro?
Scroll to a spot where they are all side by side. It's hard to describe the difference.
Buen video
Thanks bro!!
Is the red magic 9 comfortable for the eyes ?😢
Yeah bro it's great
I've seen LOTS of reviews that after 2 months screen becomes ultra yelowish, bad speakers and OS is HORRIBLE. do u have such problems?
Hmm, I actually like the phone speaker better than my S24 Ultras, the s24 sounded crappy when at max volume but the RM sustained quality.
No yellow screen here man
The os is great bro, I haven't had any issues.
W vid
Btw do you do rog phones review
Thanks bro!!
Ill look into getting it for my next device 👍
