Wow , I’m only 3 mins in & you HIT EMPATHY& I felt that. There are people that really don’t understand you need this as a trait when working directly with people you are trying to help! Businesses don’t understand the need of this as well!
I love your content but more than anything your mindset. I’m just entering the tech recruiting space and I am learning as I go. I’ve thought of getting an it support specialist cert just to get an overview of it to get the big picture. Do you think it’s necessary or helpful? Second question would you give an overview of the things we should know? Or it’s not that simple to break down? Would love to hear form you and connect!
Hello, I wanted to reach out because I am currently exploring to pivot my career to recruiting but I don't know where to start. have been working professionally and studying at the same time. Please advise

Empathy and the your ambitions to REALLY help the candidate instead of thinking of the money. Those 2 things a key.
Cool video man, i just landed a job as a recruiter
The unread email first is such a great tip ! I am not using gmail for long, thx 🙏
yo, glad it was helpful ivan!
Awesome video, would love a video about sourcing or another day in the life video :)
yo, thanks chris! those two are actually coming up on deck. was planning a month update and my personal sourcing strategy.
Great video - as a fellow recruiter I think your list is pretty spot on.
Thank you for this video!!
Glad it was helpful!
I agree with your list..
10,000 hours take approx 13 months.
I’m nearly 6 months in.
I feel like it’s really only clicked in the last couple weeks.
Are you working 24/7 on your skills? 😅🚀 what a Maschine
Where are you on the recruiting world these days? I have had a lot of friends at Amazon and Meta feel the wrath of the layoffs.
Thank you for these great tips!

Too much empathy can really cause problems for a recruiter. Sometimes you have to take emotion out
