    if you don't care about clear visibility, you can get heavy gauge plastic sheet intended for greenhouses at very reasonable prices, and far cheaper than Plexiglass. Its UV resistant, not terribly expensive, and holds up to weather, and wind well. I built a greenhouse where the bulkhead to my basement was supposed to go, and it's held up for many years. It may be easy to put it in place of the material on the rest of the panels.

    It's nice to see that the preparations for the construction of the dome have begun. Now, the preparations, along with the wind turbine and the power supply, make sense. I'm very excited about the upcoming videos; this is a very interesting project. I find the Halloween decorations spooky. Hanging the skulls is a good idea that hadn't occurred to me; I've always placed them and illuminated them with electronic tea lights.

    Nowhere within part 80 of FCC codes does it say anything about where you can use a marine radar.
    Federal Communications Commission (FCC) does not regulate maritime radar. Instead, maritime radar is primarily governed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)
    But, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO): ICAO is responsible for regulating and setting standards for radar systems used in aviation, including air traffic control radar and weather radar. These standards are documented in the Annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).
    Ergo: do your due diligence, see who is using the same frequencies that your radar is capable of and try not to step on them.

      @saveitforparts  10 місяців тому +1

    Around the 1:20 mark I thought the tools you had on your belt were an open carry pistol for a sec. It got me thinking, do you have the ability/want to do any gun content? Sandland seems like it's in a spot you could set up a range and I'm sure you could come up with some cool physics projects with them if that's something you're into, I know I would. Although, I'm sure monetization could be an issue there.

    K so yeah, you did, but you got it from Ontario. If you bought something in New Jersey you'd say you bought it in New Jersey. Not that you bought it in the USA.
    Your critique about Canadian Tire irked me enough, your broadstroke on Canada here is enough. Americans do it all the time and as a radio enthusiast I would expect you to do better. You wanna talk about shitty hardware, let's talk about Harbour Freight.
    "WOW I got a radio transmission from Canada!" no one is batting an eye if it came from Oshawa, but someone might pay attention if you received it from Lloydminster.
