@@barryfilion I've never seen a book that says the ball has to land in a certain spot to be a strike, it's all about where is crosses. Depending on the height of the pitch and the height of the batter, two balls could land in the same spot and be a strike for one hitter and a ball for the other.
That ball hit at 1:47 had and the Will Taylor two step when that guy bobbled the ball at 2nd base. He'd of told that story to his grandkids, how he picked that guy on UA-cam off 2nd base!

The DHH rule would have made it more even. Last week I played on 275 fences with Gold Dot Extremes and 65 degree weather. There were a bunch of "oops" inning ending DBOs. 😬

Only he may hit homers unless he is intentionally walked in which case someone other than him can hit ONE until he is up to bat again. DBO is dead ball out. Basically, if you’re out of homers, or someone other than the DHH hits a dinger, it’s an out.

I just started playing slow pitch softball. Keep hitting it mid and deep left field. Going to try to increase power and hit one over.

Slowpitch in Canada at least had a board that covers the plate and the ball has to hit the board to be a strike
