I was on the field from 9:30 am Saturday to 1:30 am Sunday, only leaving from 3 pm to 4 pm to take down the livestream cameras at the other 3 parks... :)

I once pitched against new breed yrs ago at kings nw unlimited bumps...they put up 42 in the first inning...was a sight to see for sure...guarantee they remember that game

Is it me or is it a lot of guys getting hurt this year? This year for some reason a lot of guys are pulling hamstrings. I would think these guys work out and stay in shape but don’t know what’s up with them getting hurt. Buddy Wolf is the most underrated player in the conference yet he’s the most resilient and you can always count on him.
When you play up to 6 games in a day, 9 in a weekend, and sometimes up to 16 in a dual event, and it gets up to 95 degrees, it is brutal.
i cannot fathom a team leading 30-0 losing

Should make them use demar corn dogs and 52/300 balls with unlimited homers. They could still hit it out but you would see substantially less.
For sure could be better softball with a regular Pro-M ball. It was a high school baseball field 315-335-350-335-315

I think the pros should def use softer balls. Bats are what they are but the balls should change eventually. 60 to 70 runs is rediculous. It would make the games more competitive and at least a bit harder to hit homers. Rec leagues use the softest balls and the best of the best use the hardest. Makes no sense

These balls hotter than normal conference balls? A lot of guys start running like they missed it and look suprised when it goes out
Yes, the Hardcore was used and when new it was too much ball for this high school baseball field. But when it got water logged or hit a half dozen times the scores came way down.
It kind of looked like Collins was trying to talk trash to Resmondo. Clark and Riley were letting him hear it.
What bats do these teams use?
Resmondo pretty much all swings Easton/Miken/Worth besides marshburn who swings Louisville Slugger. Im pretty sure Juno all swings Juno bats.

Is there no batter's box rule in usssa?
The rule in conference is if you start with your back foot even with homeplate you can stride forward as far as you want.

If only they could play the field half as good as they hit, it'd be entertaining. But ASA is much more competitive and fun in my opinion. But I've played all the above, from .44 all the way to .50....won many a tournament and leagues. This unlimited HRs, I mean really?

@@AwesomeOrville1 this is literally the only tournament of the year that doesn’t have a limit. A team was beat 76 to 0 if it’s so easy to hit them the team that scored 0 didn’t get the message.
No disrespect to the channel this is a joke! I played USSSA and NSA (A) from the 80's thru 2000's when softball was a sport not a homerun derby change the ball and bat spec then see how good some of these player are!!!!! I would rather watch the girls play! Better competition!

My uncles played in your era and don’t have a single problem watching this generation hit bombs and seeing me play the sport they did for decades. Also considering this is the 1 time we get to see these guys go all out and free swing all weekend but you got nothing better to do than cry about the glory days. If you don’t like watching these guys hit nukes for 30 minutes then go watch your old small ball station to station highlight tape for all anyone cares
The balls in the 80s through 2000s were Rocks. LOL
The Smoky has always been unlimited home runs even in the 80's, 90's, and 2000's with very high scores. Remember there were teams in this tournament that scored 0 runs and/or hit 0 home runs on this big field. But I agree unlimited homer's with good balls is not for everyone, which is why they only do it at the Smoky because of tradition.
Calm down boomer, this is literally the only tourney of the year that's unlimited hrs, most of the time it's 14-16 for these guys depending on who they're playing. I guarantee you take the old tps team from back in the day(yes we're being hypothetical) and give them the same equipment as resmondo, they would get run ruled. I bet you're one of the ones who bitch about fisherman using livescope too.
