Yes, please do En Vogue "Free Your Mind "
I second, third, fourth, and fifth this. It is an important song.
I made a donation request for that very song a few days ago - it's coming up 4 sure
I eight / ate it
Definitely!
Yessss
Spinderella's line "And he knows my name is not Susan" is in reference to a Whitney Houston song "My Name is Not Susan" You should give it a listen!
toriboy25 came here to say this!
Yup..totally gotta do that whitney's song to get that sayin..
😉👌
@@tracyhale8336 Which Is Based on a character from an Alfred Hitchcock Movie called "Vertigo"
@@jakoreyiswild 👏👏 I didn't know that...cool! 😃
You should react to en Vogue - don’t let go. Wooooo that song is fire
Yesssssss!!! Pleaase!
🔥🔥🔥
Yes! 🔥🔥
Yes. So good
For sure.
These reaction videos are making me miss 80’s early 90’s music so much.
me2!
En Vogue:
Giving Him Something He Can Feel
My Lovin' ( You're Never Gonna Get It )
Hold On
Free Your Mind
That's Tupac in the bedroom scene with salt and treach from naughty by nature with pepa (her husband at the time). The "my name is not Susan" line is referencing a Whitney Houston song "my name is not Susan"
It's Treach from Naughty by Nature, not Tupac 😘
@@bethanythatsme They are correct. Tupac is with SALT and Treach is with PEPA..
@@obdiane oops, I apologize. I think the 2 brain cells I have left in this quarantine aren't the most observant
@@bethanythatsme Yes Tupac is with Salt
Got it... I've already been corrected once
Yes! En vogue Free your mind and Giving Him Something He Can Feel
And 'My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)'. There's that whole spoken word bit in the middle that I think India will love.
Yes please...Free your mind!
Yes, to both
"Free Your Mind" by En Vogue. The vocal harmony is worth it.
Free your mind, the rest will follow.
My wife used to sing this to me back in the day. Fooled me down the isle lol . Now I'm home on saturday night watching you but she is cooking downstairs so all is good.
LOL.
Yes all is good. What a sweet comment.
Thats so lovely to hear!
😅😅
You know sometimes that’s the love we need safe and secure and stable…at present though it’s opposite I’m upstairs watching this and he’s cooking in the kitchen. However I am married to a professional chef and I’m not really allowed in the kitchen LOL 😝 #20years #hesamightygoodman
Taking me to my teen years! One of my favs.. En vogue best girl R&B groups...
Exactly!! These ladies were alot for a young man to take in!!
This song was a turning point in my life. It literally made me re think who I was. Its corny but I wanted to be a good man. Only my wife and kids truly know if I succeeded. I try my best everyday.
Its nothing corny about being a good man. Dont care what people say. Bad aint cool and good aint corny
NO IT’S NOT CORNY SIR 😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍
Other En Vogue songs to check out:
Free Your Mind
My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It)
Runaway Love
Give it Up Turn It Loose
Don't Let Go (Love)
I love both of these groups. You should try TLC "No Scrubs."
Your expression was priceless when she said I finally found a man that can make me laugh. Proves that sense of humor can send a zing up your spine!
You have never heard of En Vogue? They have great music!
En vogue- free your mind us a great song too ps it is en vo-gue with a long o sound
💯 YAAAASSSS! I remember strutting around the living room singing along to this video!
Never Gonna Get It ..... they were absolutely beyond gorgeous in that video!
@@opalviking THIS 🎶🎶 IS 🔥 🔥 & SO IS EN VOGUE & SALT & PEPPA !! 💃 ❤OLD SKOOL JAMS 👏👏
The Long O should wasn't the problem. Lol. She added a Y after the O.
***En Vogue - Hold On*** It has the Jackson 5 "Who's Loving You" for the intro.
React to “Giving Him Something He Can Feel” by En Vogue. Btw, this song (to me) is one of those gems in music history. Two huge female groups in the time coming together producing a song that women are able to relate to in any era. LOVE it just as much now as I did when it came out.
Now you absolutely must must must react to En Vogue - My Lovin’ (Never Gonna Get it)
This was my song! En Vogue and Salt N Pepa both have an impressive catalog!
Omg En Vogue’s ‘Free Your Mind’ is an awesome song to react to. Also ‘Don’t Let Go’
I love this song. I used it in my workouts, with Salt N Peppa and TLC and most of En Vogues other music. Snap “the Power” is another great workout song.
You are 100 percent right about female rappers in my day. They had self-respect. Love them.
Welcome to these wonderful women groups!! One of the best collaborations!!
Yes you gotta hear Free your Mind!!
I can’t believe this was your first time hearing this. This was the jam when I was in elementary lol. Man I miss the 90s .. EnVogue was the shit back in the day. A bad ass girl group. Salt N Pepa was too.
In my teens, I was a Nirvana and rock n roll fan, to my soul. But there was no way to be a young girl and come across the power of these women in hip hop and not pay attention. Great music, important message, and all-female kick ass!!! I'm subscrib8ng to your chnnel, India. I love your facial expressions! God bless
The Song was "Originally" done by The Emotions in the late 1960's. They were the group who had the Song "Best Of My Love" Sadly enough Pamela Hutchinson died about two weeks ago.
Now that was fun!!!!!! This song is amazing 👏.....thank you for taking me back ❤
Love how she pronounces En Vogue, En Voigue, lol. Whitney Houston said "My Name is Not Susanne" and Salt says "He Knows My Name's Not Susanne" lmao. Gets me everytime. Need to react to En Vogue.
This song is embedded in my memory bank as a late 80s baby I just remember LT coming out to this at wrestlemania 11 when he fought Bam Bam Bigalo ✨️
55 & still know all the word's!! Love this and your reactions are awesome!!! 💕✌🏻🎶
Pleeeaaase do more En Vogue!! Love them! and Let's Talk about Sex by Salt & Pepa
Im surprised you've never heard music by En Vogue? And it's pronounced En Vogue like Vogue magazine. En Vogue has a lot of good music. Please check out more of their music. Peace.
Yassss AND YASS for your reaction girl!! Thats WHY I follow you ...
Touring together 2022,
🔥En Vogue 🔥still Rocks 🎼🎼🎼
🔥🔥🔥Free Your Mind🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bringing me back to the 90s lovin it!!!!
Salt N Pepa - Let's Talk About Sex was HUGE song for them in 1990.
Love your commentary on this!!! Your humor is everything
En Vogue is a beautiful group to listen to.
En is pronounced On. Vogue rhymes with rogue. Rogue is pronounced like Road, but with a hard G instead of the d. Huge fashion magazine called Vogue.
That was tough - not many words rhyme with vogue, apparently!
@@jonnylumberjack6223 i couldn't think of one in the few seconds I gave it. So 👍🤜🤛
Actually wen odd pronounced like in. As for rouge just remember the X-man character with that name.
@@ameyer1970 No, it's on. It's French.
The band pronounces it En...like end without the D.
I use to love this jam!!! He's a mighty mighty good man...A body like Arnold w/a Denzle face 🙂
En Vogue. Don't go. Vocal performance and passion is unmatched.
Salt n pepa s first song was "showstopper" where they re dissing doug e fresh s song "the show"
Another early salt n pepa song is "tramp"
Another cool reaction.
Another great reaction!!! Now I want to hear En Vogue's music along with Salt n Peppa and Oaktown 357's "Turn it up". 👍🏼😀
Agree, "Free your mind", and "my Love" amazing videos
song's SO catchy! ♥
DEFINITELY "Don't Let Go" by En Vogue. A POWERHOUSE JAM!
TWO GREAT GROUPS, SALT N PEPPER RAP AND EN VOGUE SINGS. OH YEAH THIS WAS A MONSTER.
These ladies were the staple back in the day. We all loved them!! So glad you are discovering them!!
This beat still slaps, and their flow is so great.
En Vogue's Giving Him Something He Can Feel is a fun and amazing song!
Holy crap, I didn’t notice this before. En Vogue did the same dance they did in the never gonna get it (my love) music video.
Salt - n - Pepa was one of the ones who paved the way for lady rappers along the way.
that one line is referencing Whitney Houston song "my name is not Susan". Salt-n-Pepa had a backup singer who sounded a little like Terri, so they could have the En Vogue sound for doing this song in concerts.
So glad you’re doing this! I haven’t heard this song in a while, and I’m literally smiling now. This really takes me back! (Very early 90s.) Both of these groups were awesome!
Lovely reaction. "Whatta man (3x) whatta mighty good man!" is what they're actually singing.
Love EnVogue!
I always had a crush on the tall one from en vogue
So many divas! I love it 💜❤💜❤
Fantastic dance music. Love them.
This is a modified 1993 cover of Linda Lyndell's 1968 hit by the same name. And you would love En Vogue (that second word, Vogue, is pronounced like the fashion magazine). Their hits include 1990's "Hold On" and "You Don't Have to Worry," 1991's "My Lovin'," and 1992's "Free Your Mind." Great harmonies. Salt-n-Pepa's best known song and biggest hit was "Push It" from 1987. And for some reason, all this makes me think you would like Queen Latifah and Monie Love's 1990 "Ladies First," but you probably already know that one.
one of their best tracks! so glad i grew up clubbin to this!!!
sexy as ever and they're all dressed!!!! its called class!
This music and these bands (together with TLC) formed an important part of my teenage years. Made me feel like a strong woman. Still singing along
Love this song, your reaction, and your general take. You cool! :)
I saw En Vogue in concert many years ago. They were great. I think they were with Vanilla Ice, Young MC and MC Hammer, if I'm not mistaken. Listen to Bust a Move by Young MC. Also, Push It by Salt N Peppa. Great dance songs!!!
Salt N Pepa are/were legit original and there are no other artists like them.
En Vogue (the "g" is a hard "g") definitely amazing harmonies - you MUST react to "Free Your Mind" official video! Trust me :)
I believe the band's name is French for "in fashion." I was a little young to investigate them further but I always enjoyed when I heard them. Salt-N-Pepa were doing it before Cardi B & Meghan the Stallion were even born.
You are hilarious...newly subscribed!!! Great content
I really like how you don't interrupt the song every 5 seconds, you just really listen and let the facial expressions tell us how you feel. Love your reactions!
Please please please 🙏 do more Em vouge. If you do not know there music you will be super impressed with them. Great reaction as always!
I remember salt n pepa performed this song on Saturday Night Live. Patrick Stewart (Older Prof X) was hosting. I remember hoping and praying that Patrick Stewart would come out and perform the male rap on this song for that show. Unfortunately, he did not.
Lol! I know I am showing my age since I remember when this songs came out and I love how both of these groups pushed for empowering women.
You NEED to react to Prince.....
omg this was great. this was the jam back in the day. this video reminded me of another female group around at the same time "TLC". please check out "creep", "red light special" , " no scrubs".
You are my favorite! Your reactions are so good and you make me laugh and smile! 😊
In the 80’s and 90’s these amazing women let other women know the owned their own sexuality. Love them both
Impressive ladies. There were many of them back in the day. They got you to use your imagination without resorting to vulgarity... India, you hit that nail right on the head!
Definitely react to more En Vogue (vohg- Pronounced like OH with a V on the front and a hard G at the end)
You need to En Voge, Givin' him somethin' he can feel! Oh! That song!
Pronounced On Vog - on like in English, vog with long o and hard g
Your enjoyment was fun to watch.. i grew up on these two groups 😁
I loved this song back in the day and watched this video after watching your last Salt n Pepa reaction lol. I would like to see a reaction video to the Lisa Lisa, Cult Jam, Full Force song Take Me Home.
Wow. This video takes me back.
Do your ears a treat and listen to En Vogue sing Givin him something he can feel....they were the ultimate girl group..so many hits...Hold On, Free Your Mind....girl you in for some goood tunes.
And i see you recently reacted to jackson 5 ...whos lovin you...En Vogue sings that a capella as an intro to Hold On
They still in the game both of them they doing concerts as we speak
Loved En Vogue! Sad when they just disappeared.
En Vogue are the baddest girls in da business... Be sure to check out all of their performances on Arsenio Hall. There is no other girl group where every member has the talent of a solo artist and different girls sing lead on different songs. Don't be confused by today's En Vogue lineup.. it's those original 4 voices blending together that makes the magic happen.
En Vogue was my jam in my early teens, loved this collab
Me neither...... god i loved salt n pepa for their sass
En Vogue: "Giving him something he can feel". GREAT video and song!
En Vogue! Yes! The Funky Devas. Free your mind!
In vogue(pronounced like the magazine). Another great review. 👏
I need to remind myself never to drink coffee when watching your reactions! It was pouring out my nose and even my eyes hahahaha I pee'd my pants I was laughing so much! You're a gem, never change!
✨💖✨ My teenage years!! ✨💖✨
I'm sad she hasn't heard of these artists before...guess I am lucky, my parents exposed me to lots of different music when I was coming up. God bless on your music journey, everyone 🙏
En Vogue did a version of "Giving him something he can feel" that is Fire! Please listen to it.
I have always loved this song that was such a great team up between them
Ohhh en vougue ( my girls) I love the song “whatever “ and “don’t let go”. Ye’ser! ❤️🥰🤩
The man with Pep (pepper) is Treach from Naughty by Nature. They have a daughter who, I believe appears on the reality show "Growing up Hip Hop".
The 90’s had a million 🔥 female artists
