I still find it hard to believe Spinel was left alone for thousands of years. The Garden was a special place for Pink Diamond. Seeing as how the garden was a piece of Pink Diamond history, wouldn’t someone have checked up on the place? Blue Diamond frequently visited Pink’s Human Zoo and her Palanquin to mourn; why didn’t she ever go to The Garden?
She wasn't necessarily left in the human zoo. Just a zoo. One of the many biological refuges that the Diamonds had made for Pink. It also wasn't being maintained (shown by the flora growing over Spinel) so the gems had clearly abandoned it.
She didn't though. Blue had stopped adding to the human zoo after Pink Diamond "died". She only visited Pink's palanquin because that was where Pink was "shattered" and that was the last place Pink was. So it's a given that she stopped paying attention to the rest of the places Pink frequented because she wanted to be in the last place Pink was "alive" at.

I mean do you go to every single place someone’s ever been when they die? Cause most people don’t. Are you forgetting that they abused her and gave her play time in the garden to placate her? Of course they’d be more inclined to visit the zoo, they MADE the zoo for her. A human zoo aligns more with their dictator n@zi vibes than a garden that was used to play in which they abused her for.
What is interesting about that one is it's likely not just Spinel. When Blue Diamond saw Spinel she described her as one of Pink's lost treasures, suggesting there are more of them.

I know this is outdated but amethyst is less than 6000 years old since she came out late she came out after the diamond blast which was confirmed in bismuth to happen within the last 5300 years and amethyst wasn't corrupted because she came out late which means she has to be less than 6000
If I'm not mistaken, Amethyst is actually less than 600 years old

All the Diamonds have rather illustrious voice actors, with Lisa Hannigan being a famous Irish vocalist while Patti Lupone, Christine Ebersole and Susan Egan being Tony winning Broadway actresses. Meanwhile all Quartz soldiers and just general soldiers like Jaspers and Amethysts are voiced by VA regulars like Kimberly Brooks and Michaela Dietz. Ergo, they foreshadowed Roses connections to the Diamonds as early as picking her VA and the connection of the corruption song to their powerful vocals. Just thought that was cool I’m glad to be getting back into the show
