You are so organized. I'm 83 and live in my van for the last four years with two service dogs. Started out organized but have gone down hill in last two years. On a very small stipend from government. Your van is wonderful. I'm in Florida, not the best place for the elderly poor. Good luck to you.
Me and Rambo want to wish ALL of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We also want to thank you for giving this video a thumbs UP and for subscribing to our channel! ✌️
Are you kidding !😀 You don’t have to ask me, I subscribed in the middle of the video!👍 I love your video, I’m going to watch all your other videos. I love Your van setup it’s Perfect for me! I have a question? Did you took your van to do the inside Built? Would you like to share that company with us? Thanks in advance From Anaheim California USA 🇺🇸 💕👍🌺
I absolutely love the fact you run your grey water straight out the bottom, lots people carry their smelly heavy grey water around in a space taking tank🤔
Hey there! Really like a number of the features that your conversion has, and I'm definitely going to look into adding a few to my NV200 self built van. I'm a violinist who spends months travelling around the uk playing at festivals so I have to carry around all my gear and electronics, so I had to get really creative about storage. My little dog Pearl is always with me too and it's taken a year or so to stop her barking at noises in the night, and initially she hated my diesel heater too. All in all I find its alot of trial and error and compromises in a little van but I wouldn't exchange our lifestyle for any other. I'd definitely look at some solid insulation if youre travelling to colder climates. Those metal ribs will conduct cold right thru the van, even a roll of vehicle carpet attached with spray adhesive will help - also I found well fitting reflectics that I covered both front and back with black material on one side and white on the other side for the windscreen and the front doors helped massively to reduce the loss of heat. I also fitted a swivel passenger seat that by not needing the curtain separating the cab from the van because of the reflectics providing privacy, I gained much more space as it became the dogs 'special' seat to lounge on, however I must admit by 3am shes curled up in bed with me! Lovely van tour!
@Ava Greenall I'd like your advice on how to get a dog to stop barking. I had everything figured out about living in my van, but I had not considered the fact that my pug is going to be on the alert all the time.
Fantastic van. I love that you can hang out with Rambo . When I had a dog, it used to frustrate me that I'd have to go to work . You're giving him a great life
Wow! What a nice little home! You have it all down to a science. Very neat and organized! Wish my house was like that! At least I am beginning to work on it!
1) Awesome set up... 2) Rambo is cuteness overload.. Awesome dog. 3) How do you take care of #2.. I saw the device behind the fridge for #1.. 4) showering if you are in the middle of nowhere. What's the remedy for that. 5) what are your plans for connectivity if you are in the middle of nowhere? Awesome job, great set up
I love those crates too but I have a dog that sheds like crazy so I need to have everything covered. It’s great though, the way they just slide out from under the couch. I’m going to use that tip.
You are so organized, yet, after 8 months, you quitted. It makes me wonder how many people will actually last as van lifer. I would like to have the same thing like what you had, but used it as for week long vacations. The way you had it set up would be perfect for my needs. Thanks for showing and sharing.
Regarding the P bottle, we put about a half cup of “Mr. Clean Antibacterial Multi-Surface Cleaner (Summer Citrus scent)” in the bottle after each empty. We use a detergent bottle as it has a leak proof cap. The mr clean stuff completely neutralizes any funk from occurring in the bottle.
I was wondering about the P bottle so it is a real P bottle that explains the shape of it and it has a nice size opening for easy use much better than a gator aid bottle. 😉
Very well organized and so clean William. Like yout tour presentation as well. And Rambo is such calm, reserved, Gentleman! Travel safe, stay well, and ENJOY!
Absolutely loved this video! So thorough! For a moment I thought you were going to forget to show the inside of the fridge, but you did pull through on that; only thing missing was pulling out a few things from the fridge and showing some of what you keep in there.
Highly recommend stuffing your holes & crevices with Havelock wool. You can purchase a box that covers 100 square foot area for $150. I picked up a huge bag of wool last year at their main facility in Reno, NV for my 2020 PMC Cascade camper van.
Merry Christmas William and Rambo!! that's a great use of space. I've purchased my van, preparing to retire. This tour makes me even more excite to get it all started. Thank you for the tour!
Rambo's a lucky dog to be on this journey with you. Looks like you adore him too:) Thanks for detailed van tour! Highly recommend a bucket or collapsible toilet fit in somewhere for emergency use once you head out of areas with easy bathroom access.
I bought a 2015 Promaster City to live out of on weekends while I’m in school. We built it ourselves and just decked it out with a Coleman stove and some finish on all the wood. This video gave me a lot of ideas for my build. Love the content! Just got a new subscriber!
Mission Bay, a great place to start. I lived in Crown Point the first 50 years of my life. I just found your channel. I'll be checking out your other videos. I look forward to seeing where you went.
Rambos face when you started setting the bed up😂. Oh & his lead might fall out, so near the back door. Perhaps you could pop a little net container there?
Watching this as i recently bought one of these vans here in the UK although here its called a Fiat Doblo Maxi and comes with a 6 speed manual instead of the auto - you have given me some good ideas for what i could potentially do with mine, i love the bed setup the way its shaped around the wheel arch like that - i think id want some more covering on the walls though and i would definitely opt for a much larger (1800w) inverter so you can basically use anything of it kettle/microwave etc!
Love it … and Rambo’s face 🥰🥰🥰 … he is so cute. I’m sure, he lives his best life . Your van is amazing, love every detail. I envie you 😍😍😍 wish you the best and a lots of adventures 😊
I'm clueless about van builds except for the RV Van Build videos I watch. With only your roof insulated you may get pretty cold or drafty in places that get down in the 30's or lower. I know many spray insulation throughout before they even start the inside build. Hope you have a great start to a Happy New Year of Van life.😁
We are buying one next month to do window tinting in Los Angeles (Hollywood Tint - Mobile Tinting) And your review made it clear for me to go that route. I appreciate it very much! 🙏🏼
Hi from Colorado! Just discovered your channel today. I’m all caught up and even watched 1 of the videos from your other channel. You are a pro at this already. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow really fast!!
Great video..fixing to start building my pro master city out next week , my mattress is on the floor not the best way .. I live full time in mine but not by choice but we do what we have to do..Merry Christmas..!!
Thank you! The essentials are bedding, a power bank for your phone/devices and a propane stove. Everything else is a luxury. Don't rush the process and discover what you need / don't need as you go. Lastly... enjoy the journey... you will remember it forever.
William - based on your video I decided to get the same level of tint in my van. 5% Limo style in the back, and 20% on the sides. For me I wanted to protect my build/the wood from UV / Sun damage and add security in the back, and keep the heat at bay (I'm in OC/LA) in the front. This was a very minor thing you mentioned in this video, but I just got it done today... it's pretty dang awesome.
@@WillandRambo Thank you. I'm told here in CA the cops are now pretty lax about pulling over for tint; that they're likely using it as an excuse to pull you over for something else. Hopefully saying that isn't jinxing me.
You’re a fantastic communicator. Although, at the 6:36 mark I thought you said …This is where I store my “pot stuff”. Ha! It is California so I wasn’t shocked but when I listened to it again, I realized you said “pasta” . Happy trails.
LOVE Rambo! Wondered where you keep his food. Knew it couldn't be just the little cubby you showed first so kept watching just to see where you hid the big food supply 👀

I know the feeling.. Rambo is my 2nd boxer.. I still miss my last one (Shelby)

Nice setup. I live in a 2000 Chevy Astro and it looks like the cubic feet is about the same. This gave me a few ideas (like roll up your jeans).
Since your van is also your home, you should look into the owlcam. I haven't tried it, but I think it does what it says.
