You can’t dodge an elite dart if u don’t no it’s trajectory Edit: in all seriousness tho, I feel like elite darts would have worked much better as shotgun ammunition, due 2 their unpredictability. If they made something like the trilogy as a more battle practical blaster, that would b the ultimate win in my book
@Paul Martin they also have a wide ammo spread tho. That’s my point. Elite darts r more likely 2 hit a target when there’s more than 1 flying towards an opponent at the same time. They’re also more effective the closer u r to a target, which is exactly what a shotgun is 2. Shotguns benefit from a balance between projectile spread and projectiles count (meaning the # of projectiles in each shot/round). Elite darts r naturally inaccurate, which means they will have a wide spread. Most nerf dart blasters only fire 1 round at a time. Nerf shotguns on average fire 2-3 rounds per shot, making them good 4 CQB or HVZ. That’s where nerf shotguns like the rough cut and the Trilogy excel: they were built 2 take advantage of their ammo, not just 2 feed them. The elite dart still has a place and purpose in our hobby. They’ve just been perceived the wrong way
You hate to see it Like, I love other brands as much as the other guy, but some people are just mad for the sake of being mad Like that comment on the MK3, where one guy said "Notice how they aren't naming their blasters dumb stuff like the Demolisher or the Negotiator. It's the Dart Zone MK3! They're changing stuff up!" So I have to reply with "Yeah. DZ doesn't name their blasters names such as the Villainator, the Matrixfire, and the Conquest. It's just MK3"
Yeah, when you hear the optimist version of him say that it's funny because your like "NO, OPTIMIST! YOUR SUPPOSED TO SAY POSITIVE THINGS, NOT NEGATIVE ONES!" lol.
When the optimist displayed his view on being surrounded, I immediately thought of this "All right. They're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us... They can't get away this time." -Lt. Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller, when Chinese forces surrounded his men at the Chosin Reservoir, Korean War, 1950
There’s room for both pessimism and optimism in the hobby… more optimism, as thats generally a better way to view life, but at the same time some criticism (like for the “elite 2.0” line or the Ultra line, though I like the ultra line quite a bit more) is warranted sometimes.
I do think Hasbro will fix the issues with Elite 2.0 involving quality once they release blasters like the Eaglepoint. In my opinion, the only flaws they still need to fix with Ultra is the dart quality and dart price.
@@RealSirMikay my issue with the Ultra line was the new dart that nobody asked for, was a blatant lie about accuracy and range, and the price of every blaster. I loved the design of all except the Three, especially things like the Two and Pharaoh. Hopefully elite 2.0 improves with time, or at least had good, functional gimmicks (the flip 32 seems to work fairly well, even though the 16 doesn’t)

Pessimist doesn't know what he wants. But in proper context, he has a few valid points -- if said in a whiney way. Dude, this is awesome. Optimism is my preferred choice. But no brand , no single person, nothing and nobody is above criticism. Pessimism is sometimes needed to point out flaws and/or legitimate criticism. Other than that, stay positive and stay tacti-cool.
Plot twist: Coop is actually tripolar and he is showcasing his different identities: the optimist and the pessimist, and the completely objective commentator.
Reminds me of the quote “Men, we are completely surrounded by the enemy. That gives us the greatest choice afforded to any army in history; we get to attack in any direction we please!
2:58 Actually he easily could have won because all others have to reload 5 minutes long after their magazines ran out. This strategy works for me every time 😀
Yeah, I definitely lean in the direction of the optimist. Once quarantine is over, I should take a look at nerf events near me. My equipment is extremely dated (my best blaster is a swarmfire, and my only flywheel blaster is a semi-auto revolver that hurts my trigger finger when I use it, and the only blaster I've used with a magazine was a terrible one that chewed up darts and jammed constantly), but years of wargaming has given me a decent understanding of tactics. And I'm pretty good at melee.
A lot of these I can relate with my younger brother, but the wallet jokes deeply hurt Side note: looks like Coops been taken a psychology class, how we view the world is through our lens of values and beliefs and not so much on facts
Whoa! This is just hit me like a Mountain Dew can to the head, Coop making a video not on Saturday? And the return of Stereotypes? What wizardry is this?
"Oh dear, im surrounded, I get to shoot in every direction!" followed by that grin is the best single moment i have ever seen in a stereotypes video XD
I liked the whole pessimist argument about the prometheus, losing darts and them being annoying to recover/find, but then not even the optimist dared to actually shoot it.
Oh wow I haven't seen one of these in years. I'm glad to see that you got the motivation/inspriation to do one of these and you aren't forcing yourself to do them (like with the Cowboy one). Keep doing what you're doing Coop! :)
