Man I wish I had known about these before... all the solution I found were a bit to expensive for my m4

Now check your bump steer. Looks over performance.

I think the stability improvement you feel ("floaty" feeling gone) is a result of improved aerodynamics by lowering the car and particularly the front. A low front helps reduce the airflow under the car than can create turbulence which reduces the air's speed and creates lift. This is what an air dam does, but obviously the closer the air dam is to the road the better it works. You didn't lower the rear as much so just maybe (and I mean maybe) you are getting more of the same effect that occurs in a diffuser on a race car. I suspect it is more of a reduction in lift from preventing underflow than a increase in negative lift generated by the rake of the car.
It would be nice if someone who studied vehicle aerodynamics would chime in.

I agree with your thought process. But I didn't want to say anything concrete because I'm no engineer or aerodynamics expert. But I'm glad to see we're on the same page lol.

@@jake_spence For sure. Whole careers are dedicated to this kind of thing. There is a three parts series on F1 aerodynamics that is pretty interesting:

Agreed, this is the way to go, but it is quite a bit more expensive.

Might as well get coilovers at that price, any type of springs, yes including BMWs own lowering spring, only setup will add extra wear to your struts.
