Chester was always very respectful and accommodating to media and fans. He was known for his kindness. It was only in the last few months of his life that he began wearing sunglasses-but he had his reasons. Maybe he felt more secure, less exposed/vulnerable? Or like someone else said-maybe he’d been grieving, and didn’t want the world to see his eyes? You can think it’s stupid and disrespectful. However, I’d suggest learning about who he was as a person. He’s not missed just bc of his amazing voice. He’s missed bc he was basically sunshine in human form.
