- The Sepdiurnal Virus is rapidly changing and the Red Moon Phenomenon now occurs every single night... In this playthrough I'll be spinning a wheel to determine the difficulty each day (aka viral mutation/evolution). Some days will be easy, others will be very hard! And each day there will be a horde night. How long can we last before we're overrun by the undead?!

This series started as Horde Every Night and became Technical Issues Every Night. Didn't this series also mess up your CPU or was It just crashing issues something else?
Yup, had a bad processor that I had to replace on warranty. Found 5 or so bent pins on the socket too so had to fix those. Then started having issues with my GoXLR (company shut down, no longer supported) so switched to Beacn create.
Everything seems fine now, but always a hassle when you have to shuffle things around.

The generator wasn’t powering the switch at Butcher Pete’s that would spawn the final group of zombies. Destroying the 7000 hp switch is the only way to spawn the zombies and complete the mission. On the cusp of “1.0” ladies and gentlemen…
Give the devs a break they've barely had any time to do alpha testing

That is a glitch that can happen with any and all new maps made. It is kind of a crap shoot as to if it happens or not.

I’m currently going through treatment for stage 4 cancer and your videos, Tem, especially this series, has really helped. I look forward to every episode because it is so great and you’re such an awesome producer, editor and player.
If I could make a request, I’d say ride this sucker out! Don’t stop this series until your character is super overpowered to the point where they’d never be able to kill you or they eventually take you out but please keep it up!

The auto repair block might be keeping your base chunk loaded allowing the heat to keep building and screamers to spawn even when you are away.
That’s what I’m thinking is happening too.
You gotta break the switch near the roll up door to trigger the last wave of zombies to "clear the area" at Butcher Pete's.
Yup, it's one of the push button to spawn zombies situation. It's a feature I don't particularly like...

For guns there should be a butt stock bash for the "melee hard hit" function. But in the case of a gun with a bayonet on it, it should double as a spear

Out of all the guns I own, the 1897 is the most coveted piece in my collection. My grandfather gave it to me in early 1990's before he passed away.
It's a damn cool gun!
Shotgun is my goto in 7dtd. It doesn't seem to care about the drop in framerate during horde night. :P

In regards to your wiring issues, maybe take a page out of WaywardEkos book? Colour coding the blocks behind each node to keep track?
So instance red under blade traps, relay for them and switches
I remember doing that for the darkness falls NYC base and promptly forgetting what all the colors went to 😭
Unfortunate, but forgetting things is something we all do. it seems to be solvable with a few signs.
Hey Tem! Love your stuff. The trench sweeper shotgun is insane. Highly recommend a choke mod to keep the pellets tight around zombie head level and to minimize hitting your own blocks.
Also, a great way to use up ammo and protect your base from screamers (especially while you’re away) is to place 4 SMG turrets covering each side of your base. When you can, use solar panels and battery banks to power them so you have infinite power and you can basically set them and forget them. An SMG turret in the horse base portion would help you too.

Ive had that clearing bug, for some reason destroying the mo-power generators will give access to that last switch and spawn zombies. Its something that was added with the restart generator night missions but carries over to clear missions. Youd only learn about it by doing the night only missions and who does those

@@GunsNerdsandSteel The 1897 Trench Shotgun is really the Winchester Model 1897 and is also called the Trench Broom. US Marines and Army used it in WW1 and the German forces called for its use to be a war crime. Needless to say, their pleas didn't work.
You can actually "slam fire" with it by holding the trigger and pumping the action. Each pump that way will set off a shell.

Your design on converting the Fire Station into a base has actually inspired me to model my own base based on your design XD. Its working wonders so far. I did alter the fighting positions to be 2 points instead of 3 (just so that I can incorporate electric fences strung across the front).
Also, the Trench Shotgun and Saika 9 are two of the best guns to get! So that's extremely lucky to get two T6 versions from a single run~ You'll be blasting through POIs running with them both~
That shotgun is MVP. I’ve never seen so many headless zombies!

If that Sega 9 is an smg, with a couple points in pistol it may bring up the damage plus mods. The vanilla smg has always performed well for me especially with the right mods.

Shotgun works well on your base design. No blocks in range to get wrecked by pellets and the zombies are crammed together making for easy mass killing. Ive always been a fan of the shotgun for horde base fighting. Its so forgiving of aim issues. :p
Awesome as always look forward to the next one. I love the extra infestations. I wish I could put that mod on Darkness Falls (yes I'm a glutton for punishment). I do have it on my Outback Roadies game. It has me leveling fast there.

12:50 nice little happy accident there. Never knew that part of the POI is connected straight to the main loot and it's only a 500hp wood block.
the switch at the end of your infestation was bugged if that happens you can break the switch and it will open the doors and summon the zombies sure you knew that maybe you just forgot at the time great videos keep it up
to help with heat build up, maybe you should move the dew collectors down the road. you have a motorcycle so distance isnt an issue. and it would allow you to have more as well. and i believe if your willing to drop the correct amount of tokens, you should be allowed to spawn in solar cells bc of how rare they show at the traders.
you should find yourself a timed relay for your lights (at least) i always use Timed Relays on my lights, that way i don't have to toggle them! Horde everynight might be a good time to put everything on timed relays :P
when you reload that trench shotgun there is a date etched into it near the stock, 1917
You need to put some auto turrets around your fighting position just for screamers or you won’t have time for anything lol

That PoI was broken for me too in a recent game, I remember vividly that it used to be the case that the button next to the rolling door would open both doors and spawn a load of zombies next to the engine, idk what changed but that's seemingly no longer the case, also failed my quest cuz of that

12:20 you don't need to replace a single ladder gap. You can climb a gap and zombies cannot. :)
You getting out that elevator shaft was really close.
you should use the scaffolding ladder to protect switches/lights/relais'/electric fences from cop explosions. the raills let cop explosions through, while the scaffolding ladder does not. just need to watch where/how you place the ladders, so zombies wont climb them.

I always start with ammo crafting materials in a different box as soon as it starts getting full, Then separate them by type beyond that once it starts getting ridiculous.
My current game was shotgun only from day one. The first week or so was really tough with 2 or 3 pipe shotguns, but it escalates fast. Maxed out shotgun with the auto shotty and steel armor is just unstoppable. I was just looking at how I could increase the challenge without just going to bullet sponge zombies.
Hi Tem ! Since last stable I constantly have to wrench the generator connected to these doors to open them with the switch. It is like reverse "restore power mission" : destroy the generator to restore power, kind of crazy but it works for me everytime... Maybe this is part of new features just like the Burpy Attack and the bizarre path they do sometimes when they're running too fast. Hitting the walls is kind of new too I guess, never saw that before.
I thought you were using the Path Smoothing Mod that I found to be tricky sometimes because it makes zombies "confused", I would say, sometimes. But after checking a few series you did, you don't seem to have it on so nevermind.
I follow the Infinity Horde serie from Cautious Pancake and he's having a few strange things happening too. Hope we'll have some explainations in the near future before 1.0 release if there is really a problem somewhere.
But anyway, love your work (I watched almost everything you've done so far, even looked for Vanguard ^^), I'm impatient to see your next video each day because you manage to keep the game fresh and new everytime so BIG THANK YOU !

16:05 - that room triggers a lot of zombie spawns but i think since the switch to open the gates at the main room was bugged it did not trigger a zombie spawn

the Saika-9 is probably a not-so-copyrighted name for the PP-19-1 (or is it the PPK-20 Izayo?) sub gun from Kalashnikov Concern. either way, the story behind them SMGs are pretty interesting reads, so there you have it
that trench shotgun got 40.2 damage per pellets thats so OP. and there 4s stun too.
The button that wasn't working to open the garage I think is what is supposed to spawn the zombies in the building in the back.
It sounds like you enjoyed the shot gun, well just a side note, Germany tried to calling that gun a war crime after they lost. So there is a reason its so good.

I've encountered that same glitch at butcher Pete's, i wrench the generator till it's gone, that has fixed the issue for me.
I think the button that opens the garage door is probably what spawns the zombies in the 2nd building which is why it was broken...

Have you thought about putting the forge above with the bottoms accessible while you are in the crafting area. Gives you mor space.
I am pleased that you found something that can decapitate regular and feral omni-zombies with the quickness. Is there an alternate 12 gauge ammo that would allow for even more focused damage dealing? I can't imagine that you're more than a week out from seeing radiated zombies at this point, and a radiated omni-zombie horde with 300% block damage seems like it would still perforate your base.
I've noticed with headshot only, the shotgun is a lot more forgiving on hit register for head hit box. Spread vs Single shot imho.

It was the Spanish Civil War for the shotgun.
If you destroy the switch by the gate down by the loot room at butcher Pete’s it would have opened the doors and spawned in the last of the zombies. Instead of fixing the switch glitch they added a patch so that if the switch is broken it acts as though you activated it.

The shotgun classes is the best class of weapons in that whole pack. That one you got is 410 damage per shot. Damage of the gun times the amount of pellets =410

I've had quests glitch like that before. The switch doesn't activate when it should.
To fix, smash the switch with a pickaxe. It'll activate the door and the associated zombies.
i think you should do a play through of 365 days horde every 5 days gets harder as it goes ??? would be cool nobody else has done that ive done 318 days so far on my play through!

Some places need the generator to be broken to activate the switch.
You need to fill in the pit. NEVER dig a mining area anywhere near your base.

Also, it is famous for German attempts to ban it in WW1 for being "inhumane" due to its effectiveness.
