- The Sepdiurnal Virus is rapidly changing and the Red Moon Phenomenon now occurs every single night... In this playthrough I'll be spinning a wheel to determine the difficulty each day (aka viral mutation/evolution). Some days will be easy, others will be very hard! And each day there will be a horde night. How long can we last before we're overrun by the undead?!

The explosive fragmentation shells are actually really good, but the headshot only thing is whats causing them to be lackluster. Said it on a previous video, but they can and *will* demolish anything wooden, haven't shot cobble/concrete with them. Don't think they're bad though!
Yeah, without headshot only they are pretty effective AOE.
The Amelli is based off the MG-3, specifically the Amelli is the Spanish version of it and is still in wide use by Spain. The MG-3 is literally just an MG-42 that was converted to fire 7.62x51 NATO and was developed alongside the G3 rifle.
Its like, scary reliable. Half of NATO was using it and even the US almost adopted it to replace the M60 GPMG because it was THAT good. Its believed the main reason it wasnt is actually because it looks identical to the MG 42 which put off the older men on the arms board, many of whom had been shot at by MG 42s.
But yea. Very little was changed from the MG42 to the MG 3 and it is now extremely widely used to various degrees, even south america has a few versions of them. It shows just how absurdly ahead of the time germany was during WW2.
I shoulda included the Amelli has the distinction of being the MG-3's 5.56x45 cousin. The german production fires 7.62x51 NATO, while the Spanish production fires 5.56x45 NATO. Thats why Izayo chose the Amelli specifically, because it used 5.56, making it more akin to the M249 than the M240 or M60 GPMG.
Might want to paint the hole plates two different colours inside and out, to help spot when one has gone.

I love your content, this is what yt is made for. Oh, just before I forgett it. I see you always patietly wait untill the big Gates have opend, just to close them right after that. You can spare the openig Animation if you press the Action Button (Default E) twice, so you have just enough time to slipp in, while the gate closes instead of opens. This cuts the Time in half... And; Yes, you even have enough time to mount a vehicle if you place it right in front of the door.
At minute 31:06 , a crawler has made itself comfortable on the catwalk and is banging at the door. 😃 The construction there doesn't seem to be quite so mature yet.

That one fat zombie during horde night was actually a skinny zombie in a inflatable fat suit that or he was secretly Santa Claus in disguise. As for a name for the shotgun how about the problem solver but then again that's technically just about any of the guns.

You've probably heard this already but Germany made a modern mg42 with some updated features called the mg3. It seems as though the ameli is based off of it. Keep up the great videos!
Thank you for another great video. Your new machine gun is awesome. And in fact it almost looks like the MG42 (or the MG3 as it is named today in the german army while i served there). It has no drum mag in the original version, but the ingame model is quite similar to the real weapon. Was a lot of fun shooting that beast of a gun in the army. Just noticed the bayonet on the shotgun, when you were viewing from the cameraman pov (around 30:30).
Not terribly effective in-game, but looks awesome. Wish you could actually stab with it...

There needs to be a Dragon Fire shotgun rounds like in John Wick 4. A ahotgun shell with a 100% chance of catching your target on fire.
I've shot those. They're super fun, especially at night!

You need to put frames down on the floor in the mine because any earth terrain if far enough away counts as a spawn point, player blocks stop that. Even topsoil and dirt blocks that you place will do that. I found that out making your DF base, but my main base was a bedrock base with the elevators Khaine used to have in DF. The horde spawned on the bedrock stone and destroyed everything trying to dig their way up to me. Pretty much I stopped playing 7d2d for a week because that was a "start over" moment.

Reread what I wrote. Topsoil stone and dirt count as spawn points even if you place them. Only shapes you placed stop it. I once build a base on an island in a lake and when it was covered (back in the 3x3 shape days) it did not have any spawns on the island.
Damn man such a good series and base design, cant wait for 1.0 release. I want to try some of the mods you use :)

Yep, I was right. I thought that that button not working was the reason. I've run into that soooooo many times.
a thought occurs that those frag rounds might have higher block damage. also it came to me watching this episode but it would be really cool if they added a locker into the game like rust has kinda where you can have a preset made so you can just do a couple of clicks to have your horde loadout and your not scrambling searching for things.
That machine gun! @lonewolf-kw3ol shared the history of it, but that performance speaks for itself! So many games treat 5.56 like it's a somewhat shit round, but damn if it didn't clean house during that horde. Between it and the Guillotine, I think you are set in terms of firearms as long as the ammo holds out and you aren't getting too many radiated zombies.
The way the horde was piling up trying to get out the doors near the blade trap area, maybe some sloped blocks to help steer them around the corner? Though they didn't seem to do much damage to the wall there anyway.
if the shotgun is called the Guillotine, maybe your fancy sniper should be called the Lobotomizer in tandem with it haha
also i think the inner band on the wall is gonna need slope plates on it to keep zombies from landing directly on them when falling or piling up to climb onto the band!
I don't have time to see if this has been said yet: The explosive shotgun rounds may be boosted by the explosives perk tree. Sure, they are shotgun ammo, but they also likely fall under the same category as grenades.

You think those fragmentation slugs are great? You should try the Super Penetrator Sluhs! Unbelievably Op. I wasted a 700-zombie horde with only 120 of those things. They literally penetrate everything you can see!

Those rounds might be better at breaching blocks.. check the stats on block damage.

The guillotine may have been renamed and made famous in France but it didn't originate there.
@@CeleWolf yep, mr Guillotin created a bigger version adapted to be used on humans, I mean, why not :). But it was first a tool used to cut cigar tips.
Do vitamins not give you protection from infection anymore? I don't see why he doesn't chomp them down when he goes into infestation missions.

Doing mines near your base (Not under it) is generally a death sentence. Zombies spawn with a dumbed down AI, falls into mine, and instead of pathing back out they just keep digging.
I'm 100% sure that 1 zombie is not going to undermine an ENTIRE building and collapse it in 1 night. Therefore, "death sentence" is a bit of an exagerration 😁
