Well this will be helpful for Autopilot creations! With this info, I'll be able to make stuff that I've dreamt of making for my almost 2k hours in Stormworks! Thank you so very much! 💙

Very good tutorial, but I don't understand why the GPS sensor is needed when the composite input already has the GPS coordinates?
Experiencing a hiccup here: My bearing (in my testing) is 225 but the math is calculating it to be at 181. I'm using a Physics Sensor, Ch.1+2 for X+Y and Ch.17 for the Comp. heading. Checking the math functions, they're all exact to your video and the placement of the Physics Sensor is in the same orientation as in your video. What could be going wrong?
Oh how strange, using a dedicated GPS Sensor for co-ords instead of the Physics Sensor fixes the issue, how strange. Not sure what the issue is, but if you DO know, do respond! EDIT!: Physics Sensor CH.1 = X Pos, 2 = Altitude, 3 = Y Pos. It will all work now!
this is the most straight forward video about autopilot in this game dude, thank you so much
I had an issue where my DesiredHeading wasn’t updating. I tried a lot of things.
Then I realized my GPS was unpowered. Great tutorial!
here is the second equation if anyone wants to copy-paste it
(atan2(x,y)*180/pi+360)%360
