I've been playing resonite for close to three months now but I still will watch this because this might as well already be the nicest tutorial about this topic all around, and who knows, you've never safe from learning a new thing or two, in those 20 minutes of pure bliss
Oh boy, this video is a godsend. Not only does it generally cover Multitools (there's a couple other vids that do it, but this one goes into greater depth on the topic than the others), but you also discussed how to make a double-click function as part of the Flux logic, which is something I've been wondering about for a while! I have a sort-of hacky solution on another project I was working on a while back (can't remember which, tbh), but it wasn't nearly as elegant as the system you used here. This opens up the doors to a few possibilities for me now...
@@Caldoric that's the goal! I'm trying to be really careful about putting general concepts in these videos that are applicable outside the specific use case I provide. Ideally someone going through this series will be able to gain skills for more than just the main topic.
@RustyManufacturing oh, brilliant. Btw, would you be able to squeeze in a similar mechanism into a future vid, where you set it up for the trigger to be _holding_ secondary for a brief amount of time, instead of just double-clicking? After a bit of consideration, I remembered that _that_ was what I was trying to implement in the aforementioned project, not double-clicking. Still was a hacky solution, so a better option would definitely be appreciated. Of course, the double-click thing is still going to be useful.
Do you plan on a model tutorial? i have looked everywhere, but I haven't found a good resonite modeling tutorial to make avatar modifications look good.
Sort of depends on what you mean. If you're talking part/item additions and rigless stuff then yeah absolutely. If you mean rigged meshes or Blender stuff then no, at least not any time soon.
Guh, I don't want to do this, but I also have 3 tools I switch between all the time, so I guess I should. Annnd it looks like I'm gonna have to have the video open to follow along with this time. No way I'm gonna remember how all that works first time 😅

My favorite part about multitools is how they express the personality of their creator
