Thanks for that. I do put in a fair bit of work, but ultimately I'm just remixing stuff that was already out there. I'm frequently surprised by how popular this stuff is.
I had Supercup football. Took it into school on the last day of term. Was the envy of all my classmates. Ahh the memories. Gonna go straight on eBay now 😂
The nostalgia is powerful with this one... I had quite a few of these, and yearned for a good chunk of the rest. This compilation has also reminded me of getting a Scalextric-like set for Christmas one year, but having the mumps and being too ill to enjoy it, instead sitting feverish and shivery under a blanket watching my dad set-up and play with it instead 😠🤬😆
Scalextric was OK if you could keep it set up, but in ours, my Mum would insist it be put away after we had used it! So was soon bored with the set up and put away malarkey! Also guess Who had to be the easiest game around! " Has he got a head?" 😂 Cheers Steve, more memories and nostalgia from great days gone by
It was so strange, but when playing with Scalextric I found that my ability to correctly regulate the speed around the corners was directly correlated with how likely it was that a car going too quickly at that turn would leave the track and hit a nearby knee. It really was the darnedest thing...
every Christmas I would get a new race set, I think my mom was more into it than I was, LOL thanks for the fun, Wish Lists were always a big thing this time of year, .. js.
@@RetroSteveUK Google says "Brightness; Dear, darling, beloved; Forest or plain. Shera is a feminine name whose roots spread far and wide, though some are difficult to pin down. Shera may come from Aramaic, carrying the uplifting endearment “brightness” for the new light of your life."
I could swear that the US version of the blue Big Foot truck was twice the size of the one in the ad here and made of metal and rubber, unless there was more than one size. I wonder if all the girls in the Barbie ad were British or American in reality. Only their accents change between ads and everything else is identical.
I want to be a kid in the 80's again
I've just discovered this channel and have to say its one of the best retro channels on UA-cam 👌🍺

Always the way isn't it? Get rid of toys .. buy them back on eBay years later. 😆

I only ever had a faulty second-hand set. In later life my wife bought me a proper set for my birthday. I absolutely love it! 😁
I like the Golden Earring rip off song for Scalextric
Did you know Masters of the Universe was the first animation to popularize the use of pronouns? He/Man.
I never thought of that. So.. what does She/Ra mean ?? 😉

I always wanted mouse trap but then when I played my friends I was really not impressed it boring
I got one from a jumble sale & just used to play with the mechanisms.

Yeah I think that accent dubbing thing was quite common, sometimes to creepy effect - you see that Jesmar ad? 😳
