He should do a video on that last point. I am so confused, and agreeing with that point. Thanos had one of his main fights with Tony and was the first avenger he *actually* killed. He hadn't brutally killed anyone else as he felt no need to as he had the power all ready, but if it's true that the Mind Stone is the most powerful stone - Tony must be the only one with the knowledge to defeat Thanos and that being, Marvel Phase 4 must begin with a sacrificed Tony Stark, the saviour of the Universe just like in Justice League with all the banners of Superman. This theory may have wondered off a bit but i need him to do a video on this.
7:18 I think it's because Dormammu is timeless, therefore he knew he was in a loop and made the bargain to get out. If they used that on Thanos he wouldn't know the loop was happening and just do the same thing over and over.

@@AzetheReal No. If something isn't in our dimensions of space or time, it doesn't exist to our universe. It doesn't exist. Think about it: without them, it wouldn't have a place in space, and place in time, a speed, or a size comparable to something that exists in our universe. Therefore it would not exist. God as presented in religions is simply impossible, and he couldn't break those rules as that would cause an infinite paradox, which are impossible in the first place. And if you know Occam's Razor, the simplest option that requires the least assumptions is by far usually the correct one. I believe in God, just not as he is presented in religion. I see him as beauty of the fullness of all possible thoughts of things that exist and inexistence, not as an omnipotent person that oversees the universe. I'm religious, but not ritually.
The reality stone is the most powerful as it can warp reality itself, and the only reason it was temporary was because Thanos most likely wanted to warp reality for a short period of time.
It was so terrible for Dormammu because he lives in a place without time. Thanos will be forever in a loop without knowing it, because everytime it loops, his mind goes back to the beginning of the loop, where Dormammu's mind is not... Just a small detail, but awesome list.
@@q-tek8349 Not really. For Thanos nothing would happen. You can trap him for infinity, but since the whole univers is trapped no-one would notice, except for Strange. So for Strange it would be infinite, where it would be less then an infinite little part of time for Thanos. Imagine, someone came to you on the street and said you were trapped for an eternity without you knowing about it. It would be more of a punishment for Strange then for Thanos. Yes, he'll be trapped for an eternity, but he doesn't even realize. Proof eternity is relative? Probably yes. XD
@@q-tek8349 But then the universe will never carry on, cause Strange keeps reversing time. Strange would almost be taking the place of Dormammu because he would be in an eternal struggle with Thanos. The Avengers may not lose, sure, but this isn't a victory either. Unless Strange could make some sort of pocket dimension which exists outside of our spacetime and then loop Thanos forever, putting him in a time loop inside of our universe would be pointless. He may be trapped sure, but no progress is being made towards victory.

Dr Strange wasnt able to "Come to Bargain" Thanos because the only reason he was able to do it to Dormamu because they were in the Dark Dimension which exists outside of time.
Yeah, Dormamu's human followers seemed able to extract themselves from the time warp to some extent, while Dormamu was just flabbergasted at the concept of time
So why did Mordo and Wong warn Dr. Strange from using the Stone because he could accidently create infinite time loops? I don't think that they had a confrontation in the dark dimension in mind...
So why couldn't he reverse dormamu him, and simply "delete" time within thanos's bubble, creating a statue? I'm thinking space stone could theoretically counter it, but i'm not sure how any stone could work outside of time.

Reality is the most powerful. Reality determines power, time, space, mind, soul and even SIZE. Don't even need other 5 stones to wipe half of the universe out of existence. Thanos is just a big purple boomer.

It depends on which type of power you’re talking about. Each of them have their own unrivaled potential, and can be as powerful as the other. In raw power, the Power Stone rules overall. Reality and Time rule in manipulation. So on and so forth, I think they’re all equally as powerful.

Yeah I discovered their channel (this one) the summer between my junior and senior year in hs, so summer of 2014, when their video on the Pixar Theory popped up in my recommended videos. Idk what vids I was watching before then that led me to them, cause I didn't even have a UA-cam acc then and didn't have a smart phone. The bargain with Dormammu only worked because it took place in the Dark Dimension, a place beyond time. That was how Dormammu could remember the previous iterations of the bargain, and got annoyed accordingly.
Also the attack with the power stone might have been limited for other reasons. The power stone seems to be an energy source, used to enhance the other stones. Perhaps the attack on Tony was the most power he could direct from it without risking damage to himself or the gauntlet. I mean a power plant can power a whole city that doesn't mean you can run every volt of it through one wire

I'd say every stone has potential powers even Thanos isn't aware of... On a separate note, the likely reason Strange couldn't time loop Thanos is that in Doctor Strange we see that Kaecillius can break out of it's time distortion, and he is far less powerful, the only reason Dormammu couldn't was that he was completely unattuned to time.
Yes, Kaecilius broke out of the time stone’s spell or whatever but keep in mind that it wasn’t a time loop. It was just simply reversing the recent events in Hong Kong. And I think a time loop spell would be much more durable than a time reversing spell.
Dormammu is no joke guys. He's unknown and unaffected by time. Time Stone has nothing on him but his surrounding does so... I think Power Stone might have a chance at Dormammu. Cause personally I think it's the most powerful stone.
Kaecillius broke out of the time stone is because its Dormammu's power. Dormammu isn't affected by time and he's the source of power of Kaecillius, that allows Kaecillius to be also independent of time. It has nothing to do with Kaecillius's raw power.
Im surprised thanos doesn't just place a time anchor when he gets all the stones so if he dies or loses the gauntlet it will reset bringing him back to the time anchor allowing him to try again.
The reality stone is literally reality in a stone so if you think about it, yea I mean you basically god by having that stone thanos didn't need them all and genesis wasn't the only way he could do so much things. They act like it is the weakest stone so that the plot doesn't get snapped away lol.

In my opinion, nobody has ever used the Reality Stone to it’s full potential. If one did, however, they could easily just eliminate the entire universe within an instant with just the thought of doing so.
well, I agree that reality stone is the most powerful, I think the only limits there are is that you have to be around when you use it and the stone can probably only cover a certain range of space. even then the stone is mega powerfull

disagree on some of the features of the mind stone. First off, I don't think the mind stone gave the twins their powers, but more likely unlocked them. Because fox owned the rights to the X-Men, and apparently even the word mutant, the MCU, and all spinoffs used the inhumane to substitute mutants. I think the twins have some inhuman DNA, and the mind stone was the catalist that triggered their powers. You could say it unlocked their *minds*. On top of that, everyone who seemingly gained their powers, have vastly different abilities. So was it the mind stone that granted them power, or did it unlock their potential power. Secondly, you mention that the stone seeks to cause destruction. You reference it warping the avenger minds, powering on ultron, and gave Thanos the idea to start his quest in the first place. If that were the case, you'd expect Vision to be a bit more destructive, considering it's literally embedded in his body. Instead, vision is probably the biggest pacifist on the team, which is really saying something when you remember Banner is on the team. One could argue that Vision's pacifism comes from the combo of Banner, Stark, and Jarvis, but if you're thinking that those overshadow the mind stone, you're admitting that the mind stone isnt all that powerful. Lastly, if the mind stone showed Thanos the truth of the universe, that there are too many beings, and not enough resources, wouldn't you expect Vision to also have that knowlege? All in all, the mind stone may even be the weaker of the stones. If we leave out assumptions, the only thing we have seen the mind stone do directly, is control a very small group of people, and modified the AI of two robots. Not to mention, I can't think of why the snappening needed the abilities of the mind stone. Power, space, time, soul, and reality make some kind of sense if you're considering killed half of all living things, but the mind stone.... Not so much. I think Thanos just needed it's raw power for the snappening to work. My theory on what the mind stone actually does isn't as obvious as the others. I do believe it gives you knowledge, but only what you think you want to see. It's up to the user to ask the right question to get the most complete answer. Thanos wanted confirmation validation that his genocidal plan would solve the problem. The stone gave him the knowledge that "yes, it will solve the problem" Ultron was born and immediately saw that humans were destroying themmselves with war and hate, and his solution was also genocide. Again, the stone said "yes, killing all humans will solve the problem" Vision, on the other hand was born in a vacuum. Not seeing or experiencing hate, or turmoil of the universe. His existence is the truest example of being objective. He doesnt seek the answers to the universe's problems, ergo the mind stone doesn't feed him answers he wanta to hear.
I like it. Well done. The mind stone unlocking the twins' powers actually makes a bit more sense. I mean if it gave them their powers then they both would have mental-based abilities, yet only Wanda does, while Pietro gets superspeed. But if it did unlock their powers then they would still have the Mind stone's signature to be able to destroy it. I think Pietro could've also done it by holding the stone in his hand and vibrating it or something along those lines

Thanos can't force permanence through the Reality Stone, that's what the time stone is for. Star Lord's blaster doesn't materialize because the bubbles popped
I just want to say the mind stone is not fully evil even though you gave some amazing reasons but my reason is look at vision he is not evil so I don't know how this works but we do know that not everything evil came from the mind stone, and great video by the way I thought it was awesome 👍

And do you know what is part of physics? Space, power and time! The Reality Stone can theoretically be used to change how space, force and time work. But not only that. The Reality stone is more powerfull than every other stone togher, because it has no limit. Just think about it: Thanos could have taken simply the reality stone and create new rule in the newly created reality, in which every living creature has 50% to turn into dust.
4:21, if you look closely and hear closely, you can see Tony’s shield getting ripped apart and hear it just having nano particles fly off, and I think the term Power, in the case of the power stone, it uses pure energy to do stuff, because normally power is the term used to define energy in certain ways, in this case, it defines its destructive capabilities and the fact it seems to cause every other infinity stone to go from super mode to hyper mode…

In the comics, the stones all originally came from a single being who shattered themselves out of boredom of their existence. This could explain why the stones have sentience and could be a future avenue for the story

I think the strongest stones represent the strongest parts of the hand... top of the hand being the strongest followed by the thumb, pointer, middle, ring and lastly the pinky. At least that's how I feel about it

ni456 I think you were right in the first place man. In theory the time stone could send the universe back to its creation. Could make a planet go back until it’s only a rock in space. If the wielder were Dr strange then he would basically have the space jumping ability of the space stone. It would still miss some abilities, although he could practically jump wherever he wants

People always say that what Dr Strange saw in the time stone were EVERY different possibility which I dont think is really true. There could of been plenty of other wins for the Avengers, like trapping Thanos in a time loop. Strange only saw 14 million, not every possible outcome
Honestly, in terms of power, it really depends. If you’re talking brute force, then the Power Stone is an obvious choice. If you are talking wit and control, you have GOT to choose the Mind Stone. But all around power with no limits? I personally think it’s the Ether, the Reality Stone. One could reshape anything with that. Heck, if Thanos wanted to, he could have made it so that the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and all the other never even existed. He could have been unopposed in his search for the stones and his supposed “salvation” of the universe.
Thats more time plus reality stone. The reality stone is named poorly and its better called the matter stone. It can reshape, change and create/destroy matter. While it sounds strong it cant affect the other natures of the other stones as they arent made of matter. Plus the reality stone has to follow the laws of space and time.
Since the soul stone requires a sacrifice something that none of the others require i feel like it is the most powerful. I know it is like a soul for a soul but since it requires a high price to obtain it’s like they are especially trying to protect it from the wrongs hands
If you go by the comics, then you are technically correct. However it depends on what universe, and in some universes, there's an extra stone. The average power tier across the comics seems to be: Soul Mind Power Reality Time Space In the universes where the seventh stone exists, it goes: Soul Mind Ego Power Reality Time Space

My friend once said “The infinity stones are too op, I don’t like it.” I then explained that they’re way more op in the comics. Like, the space stone let’s you teleport in the movies, but in the comics, you can literally be in two places at once, if not more than that. The reality stone could wipe out half the universe without the other stones in the comics, but in the movies it just does bubbles.
That part with the reality stone was also likely temporary anyway since it required all 6 to make it universal AND permanent unless it were to be undone the same way.
The limitations of reality stone we see from Thanos seem to be based on the fact he only uses the stone so far as he wants to achieve his goal. He doesn’t kill unless he has to in order to get the stones
Time is number 1 and it even undoes anything and can be taken advantage of. mind is number 2.(it enhanced wanda a lot) space is number 3(it even made captain marvel a beast) soul is number 4. reality is #5 power is last

The stones control aspects of all life, but do not make up all life. The universe continues to function normally even when thanos destroys them in endgame.

God as presented in religions is simply impossible, and he couldn't break those rules as that would cause an infinite paradox, which are impossible in the first place. And if you know Occam's Razor, the simplest option that requires the least assumptions is by far usually the correct one.
I believe in God, just not as he is presented in religion. I see him as beauty of the fullness of all possible thoughts of things that exist and inexistence, not as an omnipotent person that oversees the universe. I'm religious, but not ritually.

Unless Strange could make some sort of pocket dimension which exists outside of our spacetime and then loop Thanos forever, putting him in a time loop inside of our universe would be pointless. He may be trapped sure, but no progress is being made towards victory.

Dr Strange wasnt able to "Come to Bargain" Thanos because the only reason he was able to do it to Dormamu because they were in the Dark Dimension which exists outside of time.

Also the attack with the power stone might have been limited for other reasons. The power stone seems to be an energy source, used to enhance the other stones. Perhaps the attack on Tony was the most power he could direct from it without risking damage to himself or the gauntlet. On a separate note, the likely reason Strange couldn't time loop Thanos is that in Doctor Strange we see that Kaecillius can break out of it's time distortion, and he is far less powerful, the only reason Dormammu couldn't was that he was completely unattuned to time.

Kaecillius broke out of the time stone is because its Dormammu's power. Dormammu isn't affected by time and he's the source of power of Kaecillius, that allows Kaecillius to be also independent of time. It has nothing to do with Kaecillius's raw power.

disagree on some of the features of the mind stone.
First off, I don't think the mind stone gave the twins their powers, but more likely unlocked them. Because fox owned the rights to the X-Men, and apparently even the word mutant, the MCU, and all spinoffs used the inhumane to substitute mutants. I think the twins have some inhuman DNA, and the mind stone was the catalist that triggered their powers. You could say it unlocked their *minds*. On top of that, everyone who seemingly gained their powers, have vastly different abilities. So was it the mind stone that granted them power, or did it unlock their potential power.
Secondly, you mention that the stone seeks to cause destruction. You reference it warping the avenger minds, powering on ultron, and gave Thanos the idea to start his quest in the first place. If that were the case, you'd expect Vision to be a bit more destructive, considering it's literally embedded in his body. Instead, vision is probably the biggest pacifist on the team, which is really saying something when you remember Banner is on the team. One could argue that Vision's pacifism comes from the combo of Banner, Stark, and Jarvis, but if you're thinking that those overshadow the mind stone, you're admitting that the mind stone isnt all that powerful.
Lastly, if the mind stone showed Thanos the truth of the universe, that there are too many beings, and not enough resources, wouldn't you expect Vision to also have that knowlege?
All in all, the mind stone may even be the weaker of the stones. If we leave out assumptions, the only thing we have seen the mind stone do directly, is control a very small group of people, and modified the AI of two robots. Not to mention, I can't think of why the snappening needed the abilities of the mind stone. Power, space, time, soul, and reality make some kind of sense if you're considering killed half of all living things, but the mind stone.... Not so much. I think Thanos just needed it's raw power for the snappening to work.
My theory on what the mind stone actually does isn't as obvious as the others. I do believe it gives you knowledge, but only what you think you want to see. It's up to the user to ask the right question to get the most complete answer. Thanos wanted confirmation validation that his genocidal plan would solve the problem. The stone gave him the knowledge that "yes, it will solve the problem" Ultron was born and immediately saw that humans were destroying themmselves with war and hate, and his solution was also genocide. Again, the stone said "yes, killing all humans will solve the problem"
Vision, on the other hand was born in a vacuum. Not seeing or experiencing hate, or turmoil of the universe. His existence is the truest example of being objective. He doesnt seek the answers to the universe's problems, ergo the mind stone doesn't feed him answers he wanta to hear.

I like it. Well done. The mind stone unlocking the twins' powers actually makes a bit more sense. I mean if it gave them their powers then they both would have mental-based abilities, yet only Wanda does, while Pietro gets superspeed. But if it did unlock their powers then they would still have the Mind stone's signature to be able to destroy it. I think Pietro could've also done it by holding the stone in his hand and vibrating it or something along those lines

In the comics, the stones all originally came from a single being who shattered themselves out of boredom of their existence. This could explain why the stones have sentience and could be a future avenue for the story

If the wielder were Dr strange then he would basically have the space jumping ability of the space stone. It would still miss some abilities, although he could practically jump wherever he wants

How to get all the Infinity Stones, with just one:
A lot of people don't know the true nature of the gem
Power: With the Power Gem you can connect and access to other powers, so access the space stone and teleport the other gems to you.
Space Stone: basically anything in the universe is in your grasp, a part of you, including the locations of the Infinity Stones, so take them to you.
Reality: alter reality so that you end up with the gems
Soul: Shatter the souls of those who wield the other gems, and put a part of your soul in those bodies, and control the gems to get to yours
TIme: Change the past so that you'd end up with the gems
Mind: Control all the gem users, and transfer the gems to you

People always say that what Dr Strange saw in the time stone were EVERY different possibility which I dont think is really true. There could of been plenty of other wins for the Avengers, like trapping Thanos in a time loop. Strange only saw 14 million, not every possible outcome
Honestly, in terms of power, it really depends. If you’re talking brute force, then the Power Stone is an obvious choice. If you are talking wit and control, you have GOT to choose the Mind Stone. But all around power with no limits? I personally think it’s the Ether, the Reality Stone. One could reshape anything with that. Heck, if Thanos wanted to, he could have made it so that the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and all the other never even existed. He could have been unopposed in his search for the stones and his supposed “salvation” of the universe.
Thats more time plus reality stone. The reality stone is named poorly and its better called the matter stone. It can reshape, change and create/destroy matter. While it sounds strong it cant affect the other natures of the other stones as they arent made of matter. Plus the reality stone has to follow the laws of space and time.

My friend once said “The infinity stones are too op, I don’t like it.” I then explained that they’re way more op in the comics. Like, the space stone let’s you teleport in the movies, but in the comics, you can literally be in two places at once, if not more than that. The reality stone could wipe out half the universe without the other stones in the comics, but in the movies it just does bubbles.
