Trivium is one of my favorite bands. You definitely need to look into them more. Pull harder on the strings on your martyr, down from the sky, rain, in waves, caustic are the ties that bind, like light to the flies, departure, drowned and torn asunder. Love all their shit
hey man, another great reaction! Man I love your videos. Best attitude tbh lol. Have you heard of Amon Amarth? Check out Deceiver of the Gods, Twilight of the Thunder God, or any other tbh. Get the shades ready!
Not to really get into a political discussion here. But A) It was an Iranian General we killed, and B) No one is denying he was a bad dude, the issue is that we just straight up went in there and took him out without any regard for the consequences/fallout that will come about as a result of it. Personally, I'm now greatly worried about the Americans abroad in that area, and I'm not referring to the soldiers who I have separate but similar worries for, who are basically walking targets for anyone who is out for revenge on us. And now we got the President threatening literal war crimes if Iran does respond by threatening Iranian sites, which is terrorist-like behavior to be brutally honest. I know damn well how we'd react if someone from Iran, Iraq, etc, threatened to attack the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, etc.
I love your energy, these are some trivium songs that resonate with me if your ever just looking for some good trivium. The revanchist Caustic are the ties that bind Into the mouth of hell we march A gunshot to the head of trepidation Shogun Forsake not the dream Wake (the end is nigh)

Sorry Gibby. I got sick a while back spent 10 days in the Hospital with pancreatitis. Incurred a ton of Bill's. The the holidays and my wife's first year being gone. Tried to just watch when I can. Still subscribed.
Hey Gibbs, little fun fact for ya, Alex Bent recorded this song on the album in 1 take. This version was his first play through hearing the song and he vibed and just felt the whole song. Dude is a legend
Bro, this drummer is sick. Been following these guys since the first album, they've ALWAYS put out good material. That being said, I feel like this dude really solidified the band. All these dudes are super talented.
If someone didn’t explain earlier genuflection is when you get down on one knee and pray. So the lyric genuflect to a lie, is for people who believe lies and not the truth, as well as condemn those they don’t understand.
I've been a fan of Trivium since I was a junior, I'm 21 now. I do enjoy pretty much every album they have made, only one that is lesser is Silence in the Snow, and I can firmly say that this song and album is thier best work period. I listened to Trivium in this order, Vengeance Falls, Ascendancy, Shogun, The Crusade, In Waves, Ember to Inferno, Silence in the Snow and Sin and the Sentence. Vengeance Falls got me into them and I felt every other album was better. I went through a period of only listening to first 4 albums. Hating that they were changing. The Sin and The Sentence got me back into them and it's because I think they have fully matured. I started to enjoy some of silence, in waves and Vengeance Falls and realized how immature that was of me. Now I plan to get a Trivium tattoo and will fuck with them to the grave. Three concerts and 4 t shirts so far and I'd do more like get the tattoo if I had more money, in time. Gibby, I recommend the songs Vengeance Falls, Built To Fall, Throes of Perdition, Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation, Entrance to the Conflagration, Silence in the Snow, Other Worlds, and Ember to Inferno. Those are some of the best of Trivium songs and if you venture on your own throughout thier discography you will enjoy probably all of it. They changed alot in thier time and I hope they keep perfecting thier craft.
From Genius The title track off Trivium’s eighth album was realised as a single on the 1st of August, 2017. It marks the return of harsh vocals (which were absent during Silence in the Snow) to the band’s music. Lyrically, it is a first-person narrative in which the subject is condemned to death for his actions. The narrator accepts his death while accusing the ones who condemned him of being intolerant to different mentalities. Until the 19th century, those who opposed the doctrines imposed by the Catholic Church or other religious institution would be considered a herectic and would be sentenced to death.
The meaning of this song is in relation to Game of Thrones. The artists are big GoT fans, and in the show King Joeffrey was murdered (he was an ass so he deserved it) and his uncle Tyrion Lannister was blamed. Well Tyrions wife at the time betrayed him during his hearing and said that he was the one who killed the King when that is not the case and he was sentenced to death (which never happened). This is basically the meaning behind the sin and the sentenced. That's also what he means by "beware those who speak in tongues for they may call your name".
@@davidbarney1776 torn is my (second) favorite track too. I just love how heavy it is. The solos are impressive and the riffs are great. The lyrics are pretty fucked and thats what makes me love the song even more.
@@davidbarney1776 It really is, but also simultaneously staying fantastical, just like the theme of the record itself. It could just be me, but Shogun has some roots in power metal to me, mainly because of the lyrics and themes, but it's really heavy at the same time.
The lyrics mean like people judge you by first glance of you so they automatically assume you’re a band person or something but they don’t even know you.
The song is from the perspective of someone who spoke out against the church in like the 1600s or 1700s I forget, and it was considered a crime to do so. The sin "speaking out against the church" and the sentence "death."
The song is based off the witch hunts, and burning witches way back when. Condemning people cause they were different. Trivium is amazing, so is your reaction, keep it up
Trivium easy in the big 4 if listen bands starts after the 2000 year And thys guys need more than 50 tracks in high level of the best in thrash metal. Hugs from Brasil.

Trivium-In Waves is a dope song
Alex bent is the drummer and he’s a god.
And to make him be an even more impressive musician, he was 24 when they recorded the songs for that album
@@bennybooboo6789 and also it only took 1-2 takes for him to record every song on that album.
