FPV Drone Long Range Flight - Geprc Tern LR40 - Dji O3 - my longest and furthest flight I have ever🦅

- I don't really have to say much about it, except that on the way back my pulse was 180 and even after landing it took me a while to slowly calm down again. I flew with a 3000 mAh 4S Li Ion battery, my @RadioMasterRC Pocket and the @DJI Integra Goggles.The antennas on the quad and the goggles are completely original. I haven't changed anything on the @geprc Tern LR 40 except the three-blade propeller and the GPS holder.
As you can see, I switched between the DJI O3 footage and the DVR footage so that you can keep an eye on the battery level.So the whole thing is still somewhat attractive. By the way, I had to contend with crosswinds on the way there and back. I think that I will have to contend with crosswinds the next time I try, i.e. when I want to complete the 10 km distance, then I would prefer a light headwind, so I can fly back more relaxed with a tailwind.

@@BigKahunaFPV I onw the integra goggle and a radiomaster boxer, was curious about the range I would get, I thought it will be 4km.
And I bougth the tern lr40 but the importation was refused so it was set back to the seller.
Do you think that an 7 inch would be better than an 4 inch long range ?

awesome dude!!!! such a looongg range! I have the same quad, and same battery! the only issue of this quad, for me, is that shaking! i see that you have the same issue! i tried the 2 and 3 blade propellers... but i can notice all that shaking/jello! i was wondering if i could change the gps holder to behind and put a module for my Insta go3 s.
@@jeffersonkoerich6315Hey, the wobbling is actually okay with me. However, with the Li Ion battery it still occurs sporadically, that’s probably due to the weight. And I constantly have to tighten all the screws, otherwise it will get worse 😂. Best regards

What are the biggest changes the three-blade propellers make?
@@nlluke5207 Aside from the reduced volume, you get less prop wash and in my opinion a longer range with heavy batteries and less vibration. Virtually no jello in the O3 Unit footage. Best regards 🫡

I shortened the holder because it was just too long for me and didn’t like it visually 😅. Best regards
Nice :) my personal record with LR40 is 5KM on Tattu FunFly 4s 1550mah lipo but I need to try out lion pack - what propellers are you fling with?
@@w1llyFPV Hey, thank you very much, I was also thinking about using larger lipos because I still have 1400 mAh 4S batteries lying around.I use Gemfan Hurricane three-blade propellers and am very satisfied with the result. In my opinion, significantly less vibration and even longer flight times. And as a bonus, the quad is also much quieter. Best wishes and always have a good flight 🦅😎

Thank you, this is a URUAV pack. I am very satisfied with it. I have two of them and they perform excellently. But normally I only fly approx. 10 - 12 minutes with it. That was a tough test now😅. Best regards

Man I love your videos. Is it possible to show your throttle position during your flight in your OSD? For learning purposes, I’m trying to see the relation between throttle and batt charge left for long flights

@@BigKahunaFPV I finally posted my first two videos, one with the Nazgûl f5 (best part of the video is at 3:00 minutes and one with the Geprc. I recognize they are boring because they are straight flights with no side to side but I was testing range. I got 2 miles on both. Checkout the Nazgûl at that timestamp. . I’m so proud of me lol . I've heard a lot about keeping the voltage above 3v, others say 3.5. it's so confusing. I'm gonna buy this drone because of the long range and you can freestyle with it, not so aggressively of course.
@@vsf1977 It's Li-Ion, not lipo, so it can go easily to 3.0V
