Sean you are a boss,i have been making Prasad, since my mother died in 1993 but today in 2024,i used your recipe, and it is the best i have made and tasted if i may so myself.but i made 2 cups and i lessen all the other ingredients.thank you.
Great job Shaun. That is the way my mother in law made hers many many years ago. She just parched it less so it wasn't as brown..but at that colour you get a better nutty taste. Well done👌👌👌
That Parsad looks MID at best. Weird people thinks he nailed it. I take it you guys haven't tasted really good Parsad with a good texture and good flavor.
@anilram3680 Yes in weddings and I did answer ur question. PARASAD is a sweet treat from India. It is not from Trinidad. However, it is made in Trinidad and Guyana and every Indian diaspora around the world.
Shaun, I felt like eating some of your parsad. Love that colour.

Thanks Shaun... looks easy to try. What if I don't have ghee? Can I use kerrygold butter? Ghee is expensive 😊
Excellent job Shaun!
Chef Shaun you did an excellent👌 job with the Parsad...Shubh Divali in advance 🙏 💕
Thanks a lot 😊
Love how that Parsad love the texture, color and condiments…must try looks delish 😋..don’t know the measurements 🫨
The measurements are in the description box at the beginning
Thank you chef
Very nice
Love you cooking.
How do you eat this? Like a porridge-esque dessert on its own? Or along side something else? Is it a snack? It looks like it would be so delicious!
This is a sweet delicacy eaten as a dessert. Give it a try!
Love it
Can I patch my flour before?
That's the only option for doing parasad. I don't kn why he didn't do it. Parching the flour will prevent diarrhea.
Nice method
It looks good but you made a few mistakes
This is the type that the Muslim makes, we call it sirnee. My father used to make this for his Muslim holidays.
Shaun, thank you and much gratitude for this excellent recipe. To the naysayers, a positive comment goes a long way; show kindness to others. Peace.
I do not see any mistakes. Everyone has their own ways of making parsad.
Don't do me this please. We do parch we flour. To much mistakes.
Dat is not parsad
What is "parasad"?.
