Repatha has side effects too. It gave me severe backache every day for over a month. It strikes me that our medical profession knows very little about the human body with side effects like this caused by a drug meant for high cholesterol .

Repathat Got my LDL down to the 20s from 50s and overall Cholesterol around high 90s.
However I've had an A1c level around 5.7 for 15 + years until my last one which was 6.4.
The only differences being repatha added to my meds.

my Dr. is trying to get me on this drug.. i can't take statins.. been on them all. i'm 51 and have had several stints .. insurance is fighting cause they don't wanna pay.
I do eat healthy, I play basketball, walk daily, I have high cholesterol….. FYI

I use it cause statins are really bad for me, I have MS, n affect my muscles to the point I can barely walk, I think because of MS my insurance approved it.
Hopefully the prices go down soon, more people will benefit.
@abarthspider3479 This drug is made for primary heterozygous hyperlipidemia. That's hereditary, not diet related.
