I love all of those shots, but I especially love the two twirling shots. Beautiful!
Thank you! 🙏🏿
Loved your excitement on the beautiful 24-70! I'm definitely picking it up soon ;) Great video!!!
Thanks! And I am sure it will not disappoint.
1: I can feel your excitement
2: Ever considered doing podcast. U got that voice.
3: Great video
1: I couldn't contain myself
2: Yes. That's all I'll say for now lol
3: Appreciate you bruh. I genuinely appreciate your continued support.
I own this lens along with many other RF lenses. It's a great lens! It's big but not nearly as big as the RF 100-500 with the 1.4 teleconverter on it! 🤣🤣🤣 clicked for your thoughts on the lens, stayed because your enthusiasm. Keep it up!
Soo I have seen lol. Appreciate you stopping by. I'm glad you enjoyed my enthusiasm. I love this stuff lol
That lens is def a must have, i use it a lot well the nikon version. Great shoot I can see your love for the art 🖼
Thanks man! I really do love it 🙌🏿
And it really is a must have
I just purchased this lens. Ive been shooting with it now for about a month. I find that the ambient (no flash) light pics come out clearer than flash. idk.
It’s funny you should say that because I was looking a picture I took with flash in the studio vs ambient and that was my same complaint but I think it could be just me though. I’ll continue to pay attention though.
I like your enthusiasm for life and photography
Thank you! 🙌🏿
The pictures are clean. Love your cam.
Thanks.🙏🏿🙏🏿
Wow amazing photos. I’m thinking about getting this lens as well. I may rent it first and see if I like it and willing to drop that much money on it hah. Great video!!
Thanks!!
Smart. I think that is the best way to go. Appreciate you watching.
That lens is really big for real there’s no hiding with it
Lol no hiding at all ...
Nice video man, subscribed!
Thanks bro! Glad you enjoyed it.
@@DanielJMadden keep doing what you’re doing . Quick question though , I’m torn between buying the 24-70 f2.8 or the 28-70 f2.0 , which one would you suggest going for?
@@TheWanderingGoenkar at f2 you would get more bokeh in your photos. And shooting wide open in a lowlight situation would be a dream 😍. So it depends on what you're looking for.
That will probably my next review.
@@DanielJMadden Looking forward to it.
Great job❤
Thank you! 🙏🏿
What Canon camera are you using?
I'm shooting with the EOS R.
@@DanielJMadden nice. Thank you
I rent the same lens was just impress, like you can't afford at this time
Yeah it is very expressive
When your passion sets your soul on fire pursue it with all your might. Photography is your passion for sure 😊
It is lol thanks for watching!
I got this lens with the R6 and it's my everyday use/travel choice. I too thought it was huge... until I got the RF 85 1.2!
Now that's a lens lol ... I haven't held it yet but I seen it.
@@DanielJMadden its wider and heavier but same 82mm so handy for filters. Epic lens though.
I have the 85 1.2 and used it for a wedding this past weekend and that thing is a dumbbell!
How does this lens compare with the RF F4 24-105mm L-series? Do you find the 24-70 significantly *sharper* than the 24-105? How about it's micro-contrast? Also, do you find its *weight* over-whelming over a long period of shoot?
Sorry I didn’t see this but I am trying out this lens soon so look out for what I think. I’ll use your comment in the video.
Great video I was thinking about buying this lens what would your 2nd place lens be that you have rented
Thanks! Definitely the 70 to 200 f2.8 RF lens.
Great video! Always love seeing you have fun with the camera!
Thanks bro!
haha you are so fun to listen :) greetings from germany
Haha thanks 😜
Nice
🙏🏿
Great to see a black man on UA-cam 😂
Appreciate you!
Dude you should rent the 85mm 1.2, now that’s huuuugggee!!!
So I have seen lol maybe I will give it a try.
@@DanielJMadden Great review of this lens (24-70 2.8)! I actually own the 85 1.2 and I was looking for videos about the 24-70 as I need more flexibility at weddings. You did a good job of selling it. I'm going to get it for sure.
@@thecocoonclinic I’m glad you gained something from the review!
Lol that is a really big camera lens and expensive! Love the dress and wow amazing photos and model!! Gonna check out her ig too. Right on there are some uncomfortably when something new. Even if it is for the better. Love your videos man always learning and seeing some motivational stuff. Youll get like 10 of those camera lens one day lol. For me I fear and held off starting a youtube channel because I wasn’t really lol but been doing it since quarantine so learning and improving as I go.
Yeah that is a premium price. Thanks for always supporting bro! Appreciate you.
Glad you did start YT bro! Your stuff is great and your work ethic is unmatched bro!
Yesssss!!! I shoot Sony and have a sigma 24-70 f2.8, it’s easily my favorite range of lens. Enjoy!!!
It's amazing! isn't it?! Whew! Appreciate you watching.
Wow bro that looks like a coffee cup!!!!!
Looks like the weathers definitely getting better over there!
I loved the third shot but all were beautiful
Another great vlog my friend and lol the stalker with the coffee cup lens 😂😂
I’d think you were a pro photographer if I saw you with that 👊🏻😉✨
Happy weekend Daniel
Lol I actually have a coffee cup of that lens and it's about the same size. I'm slightly obsessed 😅
Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback.
thanks for the review, nice model :). i am still on the fence about the 24 vs the 28-70.
I have plans to rent the 28-70 and apparently it’s a little better
If I buy 24-70 do I need rf85f2
It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are starting events. The 24-70 is perfect. But if you are shooting portraits and you value be able open up a little more to get a more blurred out background then yeah the 85 is good choice. But the difference at f2 and f2.8 probably won’t be huge. What do you shoot?
@@DanielJMadden I shoot landscape , family portraits
@@jijojacobmathew4990 Yeah 85 is great for portraits. Prime lens are just different because the lower aperture but if you really not doing a lot of family portraits then the 24 - 70 is your lens. Eventually you will want to get a wider lens for landscapes and a prime like the 85 for portraits.
Thanks for sharing the experience! I want this lens too!! Subscribed.
Thanks man! I love your channel bro. I will definitely be back.
Oh dang! That things a beast! I wanted to get I think the exact same lens, but for Sony, but it's so expensive 😅Stalker wasn't exactly my first thought either hahah
It is a beast! It really lol... What Sony body do you have?
@@DanielJMadden Just the Sony a6300.
@@TylerSinden Got you!
Mine arrived yesterday and I had same expressions.. it is huge.. like really huge. I was like dang I gonna just return it back to canon cos the price I spent buying it kinda keeps me awake but immediately I used it on my r5 I knew it was a keeper. I love it.
Whew, your setup is dope.
Great video! Love the lense, I don't think I could figure it out on my own!
You could, if you just put a little time into it. It's much simpler than it looks.
Seriously your like reminders are helpful cause I forget lots lol
Lol I know because I forget sometimes as well ...
these are all amazing, it's intimidating just looking at a lens that big, but that zoom is amazing
I know! But the pictures ... I was near tears lol. Thanks for watching bro.
I just bought this lens! I genuinely LOVE your enthusiasm! Keep up the good work!
So jealous lol but thanks! I appreciate you watching.
Since this is your dream lens, what RF lens do you use on the regular?
So I'm not using the RF Lens right now. Saving up as we speak. I utilize the RF to EF Adapter and I go between the 50 mm 1.8 and the 85 mm 1.8.
Good for you Daniel ! Seeing you enjoy your passion is inspirational my man, beyond happy for you🙏🏾 I know you will put your new cam to good use.
Lol my wife would kill me if I bought a new cam. It's a new lens that I rented. Tryna keep the lady happy 😂 Appreciate you bruh 🙏🏿
@@DanielJMadden Smart man !
Those pictures are niceeee, u did a great job 👏🏼
Thanks! Appreciate you watching!
They came out great but dang it, that must have been very cold.
It was quite cold lol. Thanks for watching.
@@DanielJMadden you’re welcome 😊
I love shots 1&2 with the dress twirl
Thanks for watching!
Love the energy dude 🙌🙌🙌
Appreciate you bro!
So cool you can rent it!!
I know right!
Have you tried the RF 24-105 f4? If so, is it a good budget alternative to this lens?
I have not tried it but those close to me tell me not to waste my money lol. Everything I want in aperture is below f4 so it may not give the separation from the background that I want in some of of my portraits that I am looking for at times.
To answer your question. Personally, it's not a good alternate.
@@DanielJMadden That lower aperture and one stop of light warrants a $2000 price hike...? Furthermore, the F4 24-105mm L has better reach, same build quality, and it's more compact/ lighter... And you'd *still* pick the 24-70 over the 24-105? *REALLY* ???
Renting is clutch man, give you a nice taste
Soooo clutch bro. What's the last thing you rented?
Last of the four was my favorite.
I loved those ones as well. Are you a photographer as well?
I’m happy for you bro
Thanks bro! But the lens is rented 😂 I'm not ballin like you man!
If you held the 28-70 you'd have a stroke because of its size lol.
Lol I believe you 😂
Yeah I rented the 28-70. It’s great, but so heavy I didn’t want to carry it. Instead bought the 24-70. It’s also a fantastic lens.
@@deghimon I agree it is a great lens.
I just bought this lens today.
I'm stoked to play with it.
I traded in my Tamron EF 24-70 2.8 G2 & Tamron 15-30 2.8 G2 to offset the cost. Because damn it costs a lot.
Haha you're so giddy.
Liked & Subbed.
Lol thanks man! I love cameras! And yeah bro, it is a lot. How you liking it?
@@DanielJMadden it's sharp & focuses fast.. I dig it.
@@njrivetelite Yeah. That’s what I found as well.
@@DanielJMadden Next thing I got my eyes on are Primes.
85 1.2 & 50mm 1.2
But gotta wait for a bit before I can swing it
Yeah no I hear that. Sorry I’m just seeing this. Did you end up getting both or one of these yet?
