    Just wanted to say all the effort you put into these videos is excellent. Superb resource. Just changed my flywheel clutch and bearing as the bearing was making noises last few weeks. Used this video. The '12 V60 1.6D redesign is slightly different. Have to drop the subframe to get the gearbox out. The wishbone setup is slightly different than here. bit of a pain and the ground strap mount can cease as it shares a stud with another bolt. So ended up cutting it snip snip and redoing the terminal on the cable. I think the gearbox may be heavier too as it seems to have more bulk visually. Couldn't man handle it had to drop with motorcycle jack. The video was a gold mine. Thanks for the efforts.

    Bro that Milwaukee impact gun has done you proud 🤣 worth its weight in gold. I am a vw tech of coming up 10years now and own Milwaukee impacts best by a long shot. I also do a load of private jobs on the side. Finished a 09 A4 clutch on my back the other night love it. Watch all your videos bro you smash it everytime and also the variety of your clutch jobs gives me the knowledge I’ll need if I ever do any of these motors. Big fan mate 🤜🏻🤛🏻 how did you come into what your doing now bro. Thinking of going out on my own had enough of being main dealer now lol same door same faces lol

      It’s just great doing a clutch on the floor ain’t it ..how did you get on with the A4.., was the the in-line gearbox ..,, .., not too much of a fan of them😆😁..,,
      Honestly I highly rate the Milwaukee.., I wouldn’t leave home without it ..,

      I’m about 30 mins from Milton Keynes .., I was at land rover stratstone Newport Parnell ..
      I took advantages of their advanced engine and transmission courses at their academy in Warwickshire .. I went up to level 3.. Very grateful for that.
      My advice is too always go on courses. . Good learning ..
      But being self employed is on a next level .. the network is better now.
      Financially outweighs being employed.
      which it boils down to when we surpass the age of 30..,

    30:15 By the life of this poor old me. I'll never understand why people don't change the crank seal. When it's right there and than. It's cheap, simple and quite easy. The idea of doing it all again one fine day. Because it start leaking... It would take an extra 5 minutes top! ;-)
    I've seen too many going back because of that. Than have to deal with a clutch drenched in oil! What a pain in the "back part". LOL 😂😂
    Either case thumbs up for the well done video! Really tight spot.

    Isn't it pretty much a Ford Focus? With the 1.6 PSA Diesel (self destroying ) Turbo?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  4 роки тому

      That is the one .., with the famous turbo 😁😆.., after you replace the turbo you realise all the metal filings has damaged the big big end bearings and oil pump .., 😁😁..,

      @@WMCS i remember reading about a taxi firm somewhere that had 12 Picassos which had the first version of the 1.6 hdi. ( so we're talking 2006/7) and seven cars were off the road with wrecked cranks after turbo failures.

      @WMCS  4 роки тому

      It think it’s been rectified on the newer ones. I stripped one down and the impeller bearing was melted. It looked like it couldn’t handle the heat .., which is what turbo pretty much lives on.

      Only on the double cam shaft D4164T was the issue on, the D4162T is a decent engine, single cam shaft, mine has 200K miles. Issue was also generated by a filter mesh that was on the oil banjo bolt which was getting clogged and starving the turbo from any cooling, therefore the fails. I know it`s a old video but in case you see the comment, Kevin, do you work with parts provided by the client?

    Hi mate. Why have you fit DMF Luk with Sachs clutch kit? I heard something as Luk Dmf must be fitted only with Luk clutch kit and and the Dmf must be fitted/setted with a special tool and Sachs dmf can be fitted with different flywheel brand .
