🤣🤣🤣🤣you got me 🤭🤭 Glad you caught it lol

Appreciate that G
Death's message for Puss to realize is...
"Fight for your Life, don't take it for granted."
This movie is simply spectacular. It has gorgeous animation, top notch fight choreography, an amazing cast of characters, a great arc for Puss, and one of if not the best DreamWorks antagonists ever. That whistle still sends shivers down my spine. I like how, at the start, Puss was bragging about having "never been touched by a blade." So the moment Death was actually able to cut him, Puss became a scared, anxious mess. It's the moment he realized he's not invincible after all.
Also I would add the dialouge..there were no wasted words. With kitty in particular. Going back with editing I began to notice just how hurt her character was from feeling betrayed so many times..also thanks for your words and I hope you enjoyed the reaction Dan🙏🏿
You're right about that. Selma Hayek performed that part perfectly. And yes, I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for reacting to it.
@@foxtaco Right?? Kitty was written so well in this movie! You can just feel her pain in Selma's performance. At the end, when she said, "In my whole life, I've never had that," just...dang. That hit me for some reason. You just feel so bad for her.
@@andrewblissett2211 EXACTLY!
Death's whistle hits so hard, and he works as a villain so well.
He was perfect
@@foxtaco Which is amazing and also hilarious because THIS movie of all movies came out of absolutely nowhere and gave us this banger of a villain.
Right!!I barely heard about this movie a few weeks ago honestly
Perrito really is the ultimate therapy dog. Kitty, Puss and Goldilocks, all got help from him and became better people thanks to him.
There are two things I love about the Wolf:
First, his characterization. He is every Kung Fu Panda villain rolled into one.
Tai Lung: ferocity.
Shen: triggers PTSD with simple things.
Kai: intimidating approach with spinning sparking weapons, and loves a good legend.
Second, his whistle.
1. Most of his whistle is done in the millennial whoop. Meaning the catchy part uses the third and fifth notes of a chord.
Examples:
- Dynamite: I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, saying *Ayo, gotta let go.*
Ducktales: Might solve a mystery, or rewrite history, Ducktales! *Whoo-ooh!*
Good Time: We don't even have to try, It's always a good time! *Whoa oh oh oh, oh oh oh! Whoa oh oh oh!*
2. He starts in G major, singing up and back down. It’s almost a call. He then sings an A note, sounding like a progression up. But it’s followed by a C, so it’s either A minor or F major. But he finishes the first phrase of his song with an F flat; the chord is revealed as F flat minor. That isn’t a sweet or pleasant sound or movement at all.
3. His full song uses periodicity. If you haven’t heard of the term, think of your favorite Mario music. A verse would be split into two halves, mostly identical but with a variance at the end. Mario and Death use periodicity to make a tonal ‘question and answer.’ For Mario, it’s “there’s an adventure, who will come along? There is adventure, and I will go!” For Death, it’s “I call to you, your life is uncertain; I call to you, and your life ends now.”
Thank you for checking out the video🙏🏿😁 hopefully you got some good laughs rewatching this with me..and thank you, thank you so much for all the Condolences wishes these past few weeks
11:34 Wait you have never seen the first Puss in Boots movie from 2011?? Bruhhhhh..... 😑😑😆
@@JoshuaG never lol 🫠🫠🫠
I really am glad they kept the dog as upbeat as he was and there was no crazy twist with him being secretly bad. Same with Big Jack Horner and his role in the movie as a straight irredeemable villain. With as many characters as they had, they gave a good character arcs making you care about them and none were ignored. Honestly a brilliant movie and was so surprised when I was hearing good things about it and finally went to watch it when I wasn’t going to watch it at all. All the Easter egg references from other animated and live-action movies were well done. There was a part at the start that reminded me of some shots in Attack on Titan (anime) the way it was directed. I think since Kitty Softpaws overheard Puss talking about the church and wanting to be there, she lied and said that she wasn't there feeling sympathy knowing that Puss actually felt bad
An interesting tidbit someone pointed out to me, is that the death montage cards show the Wolf in each corner, with crossed scythes. You can also see the Wolf briefly at 3:26-27 in your video in the upper left corner: one of the only reaction videos of this movie I've seen that captures that brief appearance :)
i was unaware that you are having it ruff, never loose hope. Btw we all are i am too ..im grateful for your uploads. 🙂
You're welcome and I appreciate your words 🙏🏿🌹
I would love if they use Death again, to make another movie in this franchise interesting or as a twist. Maybe in the middle of a big fight in the next movie, Death finally meets Puss again and, realizing his time has come, he puts it all on the line. Imagine he's in the final fight of the movie, but then suddenly all the music cuts, the air goes cold, and the whistle comes.
That could be dope
Just popped on my recommendations and love that you dont spend the entire movie talking above it. I'm subbing!! :'3
Thanks brodee I appreciate that 🙏🏿
Value your life or death will take it away but no wish will save you from the death that prowls in wolfs clothing because it’s coming for you…
Such a good movie
FACTS
shrek 2 time 👀👀
Ooooo👀👀👀 Have I seen Shrek 2???😅😅I honestly don't even remember if i have🤣🤣
love death
His character Is phenomenal and played the counter to Puss PERFECT
@@foxtaco right !!! cat and dog mortal enemy's
The first is worth the watch, but you're not missing much. This one is head and shoulders above it
Definitely gotta check it out though lol
Wonderful reaction! This movie is one of Dreamwork's very best in my opinion! Such a great storyline 💙
Amazing all the way through out. Most characters learned lessons along the way as well. I loved Goldies story it was so sad cutting most of her parts out..her quick conversation with perrito as he reinforced she was surrounded by ppl who loved her and as a fellow orphan he recognized how truly special her bond was with those 3 bears..it was so special he saw it while only being with them for a short time..truly a fantastic movie
I would recommend watching the first movie! That talks about Puss's origins and Kitty and Puss's relationship
Most definitely going to watch it now
@FoxTaco not on the same tier of quality as this film but it's a solid movie
@@austincarlson9270 Well it was still in the Shrek animation era. It's noy bad animation, just wonky at parts with faces and character models. But the action sequences are awesome and the expressions and acting is on point.
@Blue Wolf I meant qulatiy as the movie overall. Better villians, better character arcs, better animation granted it's been 11 years, better jokes, and more characters to keep it interesting, along with great writing with setup and payoff.
Death: "Welp, back to my Wolf harem."
Puss: "Then why are you still whistling?"
Death: "Let's them know who's coming home..."
Aaayyooooo🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 chill lol
Literally was looking for a reaction video and thought about you in fond memory... then you were immediately in my recommended for the movie I just watched.
Glad to see you back!
Recovering still but hopefully back soon..thanks for stopping by
@foxtaco oh I didn't realize this video was from so long ago.
I wish you the best, my man, and I'll still be here when you return.
Some movies I would recommend...
The Count of Monte Cristo
Scent of a Woman
Master and Commander
Interstellar
The Lord of the Rings is my favorite but these films are close to it in some ways. Some of my favorite movies ever made.
Two more good ones
Arrival
The Accountant
Hope you're continuing to heal!
32:55 ngl your commentary went along with the beat
🤣🤣🤣 appreciate you going the full distance with me 🙏🏿
omg it doesss, that's amazing lol
18:33 exactly my thoughts when I watched the movie I thought the Dog was gonna die
Legit bro lol. Also that pfp is fire Season hype otw!!!
Wagner Moura voices the wolf. He is a great brazilian actor! And, in this movie, an amazing antagonist
Perritos map is just as bad it is just his out look on life changes it. The Pocket full of posies is a rhym about the Plauge. The river is the one he was almost drown in. The “ easy way out” is suicide. But he doesn’t look at life that way so the map turns out like it did for him.
Your reaction was so good:

I love this 😁🙏🏿..glad you enjoyed the reaction
They did the most incredible job with this movie, especially considering the first one was pretty average at least in my opinion. Seeing it in theaters was one heck of an experience 🤩
WANDERING!!!yea honestly I didn't expect it to be so good
Great review enjoyed watching you react to it. To be honest i think its one of my favorite moves. Cause it tackles multiple themes for a kids movie.
It does...love the messages it has in it as well
not to distract from pussinboots but you Definitley Need to watch RRR next
Nah you're fine Delta don't worry about posting what on your mind. I'm just glad you want to see more reactions..I'll make sure I record it soon. keep an eye out..I'll update my community tab when its recorded and when I start editing it 🙏🏿

Of course I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏿
Death and Perrito were my favorites.😊
Perrito MVP most definitely
@@foxtaco He’s so precious 🥰
Great reaction!
Thank you
What was that song you used during your talk down at the end of the video? I do UA-cam too and i'm thinking of using it sometime! I enjoyed your reaction btw, movie is freaking amazing :)
That song is a piece off of my brother's EP..S.S.O.M on all streaming platforms..and dood bruh..I'll drop you a sub
@@foxtaco thanks man :)
@@foxtaco what's EP..S.S.O.M? I typed it on Spotify and nothing comes up with that title :/

GREED ISLAND, HECK YEAH !!
HxH is my ish if you aren't caught up on the manga I highly recommend kt
@@foxtaco Been with the series itself for 11 years this month, watched all the '99 anime + OVAs ('98 Pilot OVA too), all the manga (sans the latest 10 chapters) and memorized the animation teams of all of the 2011 episodes having watched them countless times. It's probably my previous all-over media obsession until now with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
it was amazing in the theater
I bet!!
@@foxtaco I wonder did you notice in the crowd as he was fighting the Giant you can see Death in the Ally watching? or that the corner of the life cards its Death holding his sickles?
I didn't but I saw a short that pointed it out actually
@@foxtaco I noticed him in the crowd on my first watch but i only Noticed him in the deaths counts when I went to see it a second time a nice quick touch
Big Jack Horner or little Jack Horner
🤔..Elaborate please
my bad i didnt see this post lmfao
The image is too blurry for me to finish watching
ok thanks for trying
The whistle still give me goosebumps 😳
The whistle is AMAZING
They hired a professional whistler to do that. Whistle that in a group and you'll know immediately who's seen the film.
I made another comment explaining how brilliant that whistle is. It pulls from pop music, dissonance, and periodicity.
Underrated UA-camr
