I so love to watch Apollo trot...that "front action" of his (all Friesians) is just thrilling. He has so much personality...the way he was checking out Rens taking down the fence. Just a wonderful horse! Stay Safe Tara, Hugs!!
What a great video! I think Apollo made a great recovery when he slipped. No loss of pride there. It reminded me of my now 32 year old Morgan when he was about 12. He was showing off for the Arabian mares in the pasture next to the arena. He trotted down to the end of the arena, turned and galloped back. As he was reaching the rail and turning, he was looking at the girls, hit one muddy patch and, down he went. He got up, shook off, hung his head low and hid behind me. Oh, the humiliation. Lol All three of your horses are excellent examples of their breed. That GORGEOUS, powerful stride on Apollo. Farouk, with his agility and that neck! WOW! And Bella with her gorgeous stride and elegant carriage and agility too. How fun to watch them. ❤❤❤
i know you're waiting for diagnosis but I would apply lots of coconut oil to Bellas under her mane especially, it won't do any harm , its anti bacterial, will soothe the the annoying itching she has, you could even put some tea tree oil for extra fly protection. I use coconut oil for so much for both my animals and myself, I get a jar of it every week in my shopping delivery, extra virgin, £3.00 a jar, I also cook with it and use it as a moisturiser !! I put some in a jar with lavender essential oil for myself as a night moisturiser, works better than any expensive creams I've tried over the years. I put some in another jar with some tea tree added for wounds and bites, for us and the dogs, give it a go !! xxx
Yes I agree! This has got to be one of my favorite videos! You can really see the difference in the three breed's gaits. I love watching the psychology of what Apollo is doing, too. He goes from herding to leading. He's controlling the movement and then he's checking to see if Bella will follow him. Such a calm, confidence leader!
Hi Tara. What a beautiful video. I really like how Apollo is also keeping Bella away from the fence where you and Ren’s are watching them. He’s showing her that you are part of his herd as well and he can take care of everyone. I also think Farouk is just declaring he’s second in command and that he and Apollo are besties. I could stand and watch Farouk do his Arabian dances all day long. He’s a true “Drinker of the Wind” with that amazing trot.💗💗and just how easy it is for him catch up to her with his effortless canter. Lol,☺️sorry he’s my favourite. But I agree with you ,Apollo is truly a majestic and powerful horse . Protector to all human and horse. Hugs from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Fascinating. Farouks trot.........the true Arab trot. He floats. And the true power of Apollo, you really see it when you can see him with another horse. Of course the Arab is a lighter animal but nevertheless the power of him is a delight to see. And wee Bella really looks the baby she still is.. A lovely piece of film Tara.
I know its a lot of hard work owning horses but to be able to sit on a lovely sunny day hearing the birds chirping and watching the (KIDS) horses being horses! Another fantastic vid!!!! Have a great day EVERYONE!!
I loved seeing Apollo running and bucking! Powerful, yet the agility, I had no doubt if he had a mind it would be nothing to "BOOP" over the fence and out for a jaunt... Except for Farouk's "bite" on Bella's tail, the boys were quite polite with Bella, I've seen a LOT worse for a LOT longer. I can't wait to get the vet's roundup of Bella's spots/itch "sitch" (situation). It will be good to find something to relieve/ameliorate things. After seeing this I WISH I could see Farouk on a track, full speed his body moves effortlessly and as an arab he has endless speed and go power on reserve! I can SEE how amazing he'd be on looping a two mile track... That extended trot is LOVELY, he has a need for speed I've seen as you ride him, he LOVES to gallup :) A true speed demon with a need for speed... Apollo was offering help to Rens (those two honestly... Apollo needs to be a helper)! I was expecting/anticipating this trio, definitely top of my favorite videos ever Tara! Adds to the richness in the never ending story of your family :) I'll be watching it regularly as meditation for the heart...
OMG - Never seen anything like it, Apollo is Amazing, Awesome, Magnificent and still retains his good nature despite having to work hard to stay ahead, he has all the moves showing a clean pair of hooves, and he is clever as well, keeping himself ahead. Farouk is struggling to maintain 2nd place, knowing that he won’t best Apollo, making him slightly grumpy but showing just how well he moves. The delightful but itchy Bella held her own, showing that she too is a beautiful mover. Fabulous video Tara/Rens, thank you so much. Tara you sure know how to pick them.
20/10 for this video-just brilliant! Apollo SO knows who he is and pulled all the stops out for this one. Gorgeous. At one or two points, Farouk and Bella were in complete sync on their canter down to leading with the same “foot”-goosebumps! Bella might need two din-dins tonight ;) Three smart, thinking, good-natured creatures-can’t wait to see how things develop. Favorite video: this one (love the play-by-play, Tara!) Second favorite: nearly all the rest (Diablo biting and his departure were tough ones but necessary to overall understanding. Thanks for your bravery/willingness in showing those). 💗
The gates of the three breeds are so noticeable when you see them like this, which is actually really interesting to see the difference, Apollo is sheer power, a true power house, where the other 2 look more delicate, I'd actually think the Arab and andulisian may be more sure footed , I just love this 3 breeds , though Friesian will always and forever be my dream . You are a lucky lucky woman , and I can't think of a better person to have them, your calm nature and the way you communicate , very inspirational .
Bella isn’t “too little” to be put in her place by Apollo. We tend to humanize animals too much and read into their behavior the things we would feel. Horses are much more secure when they know where they rank in the herd order and Bella needs all the security and confidence she can get. Once she does gain some real confidence, she’s going to be an absolute stunner!
The power in Apollo's gallop is magnificent...with his flowing mane...he really has presence...little Bella really loves to run and for a yearling shows good promise...Farouk sleek in form and movement...I think that they had great fun...so beautiful to watch...Thank you Tara
I agree with your two favorite, but I also love any ride through your countryside❣️It is so mesmerizing watching your beautiful horses! Apollo be stills my heart; Farouk’s Arabian regal movements are awe inspiring; little Bella’s new found happiness is pure sweetness. Well done, Ms Tara🖤🧡💛. Hoping for the best for Bella’s malady🌳!
Such fun watching them run & play. I could watch your little herd quite awhile. Hopefully the vet finds what's bothering Bella & treatment is effective quickly.
Love your comments Tara! Their trots/gaits are all so very different as expected but I love to watch them running. When Farouk nipped Bella👠, he looked at you like "What?! I didn't do anything." LOL! Apollo is so handsome and yes, he is a powerful beast.🤗 I enjoy seeing how Rens shows such tenderness for Apollo and he responds so well.💓 Yes, this is a great video; I could watch it over and over and probably will. 😍💜
This one is definitely my favorite so far. Watching them go, so beautiful. Friesians are my favorite horses to look at, watching Apollo move is a treat and a half!
This is a monumental lesson for Bella. Whomever makes her feet move is the boss. From what it looked like, she really bossed her Mum around, and had her on the move with her constant pestering. This is a nice, natural way to teach her how deference & rank work. Apollo handles the situation masterfully! When he kicks up the double-barrels tho, LOL! He's a huge mover. Awesome video!🐎💜
Just watched this again and continue to be stunned at how gorgeous Apollo and Farouk and Bella are together running around. Love this because we get to see Apollo truly establish rank. Apollo is so cool how he doesn't go over to her until Farouk does and he breaks that up. Loved the slow mo of Farouk and Bella as Farouk comes into frame with their tails flying high. Also love Farouk's little bite on her backside. What a profound joy to witness this. Lots of grass flying! Thank you Tara and thanks for the commentary on detailing the behavior. I appreciate it! 💕❤️
There are so many videos ... it's a hard choice. This one certainly is one of the favorites because it highlights the beauty of each of your horses, both in character and movement. I love the ones that show how social they are - the one of Apollo and Rens playing together, you and Apollo with the teddy bear or with your cap... those ones always reinforce what a lovely relationship you guys have with them and that they are very "people" friendly. I do enjoy the videos of you out riding too. So, in other words, I like them all! LOL Apollo is a powerhouse. He is the epitome of the alpha horse ... powerful, majestic and in charge without being mean or a bully. Farouk is a good 2nd man. He looks marvelous - his movement is effortless. That floating trot! And Bella is surprisingly confident as a young filly with two bigger horses. I think Farouk giving her a little nip on the rump was an effort to maintain his # 2 status - how long that continues, it's hard to know. She could end up in charge of them all! But for now, I think Farouk is establishing himself as second ... and Bella will likely have to accept that for some time. They were having fun but there is a purpose to that display - as you said, it was establishing rank. When I was a kid, we brought a shetland pony (mare) to our farm, where we had a few big clydesdales. (One mare and two geldings) I loved the draft horses but this little shetland was a character. And introducing her was interesting. My Dad kept them separate but close to each other for a week, so that they were familiar. He was afraid that the big horses would bully the little mare. But there was no evidence of aggression. However, when it was actually time for them to have the in person "get together" ... it was her taking charge! It was really funny to see how assertive this little black fireball was with the big horses. She took no prisoners! I think she was more aggressive because of her size, but after the first couple of times where she had to show who was boss, they all settled into the herd and got along fine.
Loved every moment! Bella doesn't probably know what to do with Farouk because he could do that all day and still be right on her. Apollo is such a beautiful and graceful horse. It must be amazing to sit on him and feel all that power.
Apollo truly is magnificent. You have a gorgeous dark chocolate, salted caramel and caramel creme. They look beautiful frolicking together in the field! 🥰🥰🥰
As lovely as Farouk and Bella are, Apollo brings tears to my eyes just watching him. (the first video I watched was you with Apollo on an endurance ride and I just fell in love with him and have been watching ever since)
My favorites: i) Apollo picking up and carrying the blue hay bag in his teeth. He seemed to love “showing off” and the swish of his tail was just so funny; and 2) this one!!
I don’t think the boys have ever run around the paddock that much..lol. Also, I don’t think Apollo’s slip was missed, since Bella was staring right at him at the time...lol. What a beautiful trio. ❤️
This is definitely my favorite video. The personalities shine through, and the dynamics of new relationships (pecking order) is fascinating. Each is beautiful, but I am still totally besotted by Apollo!
Apollo is just stunning. I can feel the power. I am betting that having established herd pecking order, both boys will become very protective of her. She is beautiful, her eyes, her scruffy little teenager fringe.
This video was a wonderful demonstration of the power and beauty of the horse. You asked which video was my favourite and although I have to say that it is impossible to choose. I love all the ones that you have of your riding in the countryside because it feels as though you take me with you which brings so many happy memories back of my own riding days. Then again I really enjoy all the other ones too.... Best wishes to you all. M
I could watch them frolicking for another hour or two, 😊 I’ve never seen that amount of running around and playing and so nice to have explain behaviour, thank you 🙏
I think that was fascinating! I could watch them for hours. That is my favorite video, I think. I liked you and Apollo playing in the ménage as well. Apollo is quite majestic. He’s got such a classy walk, trot, the prancing. 🥰. I’m going to watch it again!
What an absolute treat! Big Apollo is so smart and so is Bella. Faurook is like the little brother tagging along. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Thanks again for taking us along!
Apollo sounds like a thunderstorm going by magnificent horse, the other two beautiful as well love the Arabians little skip trot. Greetings from the USA.
My favorite video, definitely, is the one where Apollo is impressing the neighbor's cows. The cows are all lined up against the fence like rock star fans and Apollo is strutting his stuff. Then they all crowd in like trying to get an autograph! Taken quite a while ago. Absolutely delightful. This one is pretty good too. Edited hours later: Just realized after reading many comments that it might not be Apollo but a Friesian named Koning. Apologies. Anyway, I still love the video, and it was posted by Tara. Thanks Tara.
Apollo is magnificent, he was definitely saying I am boss, think the little nibble from Farouk was his way of saying I am second in this herd. But when you watch them all move they are fabulous, each has their unique way of moving as per their breed, Farouk is heavenly to watch, but there is something about Apollo that just catches the eye. I love the way he likes to be with his human herd members when they are doing anything.
Apollo is just an amazingly powerful horse, I just love watching him in this video, there's no doubt who the boss is, Farouk and Bella looks like they are just out for a good time running, fabulous video, thanks Tara
Apollo is truly magnificent, with power that exudes from his very presence: breeding and training which has given him brilliant well thought confidence!
I just love to see horses interact with each other. I think so many non-horse people would think that Apollo really tries to hurt them with the kicks but its clear that its just a warning to show whos boss
Maybe Mosquitoes bite her and they give a allergic reaction. You could try a flyblanket or put some anti fly (these yellow cow anti fly) on het halter. I did buy the cow things and make them on my horses halters. They work perfect. In the Netherlands they are yellow and dairy farmers put them in the cows ear where normally the number is. Apollo is beautiful I love the way he runs and Dance , his legs so high. Bella looks a bit like Farouk the way she runs. Farouk is young and a bit naughty , he must he is young too. You have great horses 👍🏻 This is my favorite too , I love the way they play and dance with Bella . Bella happy after all living with those breeder and learn nothing , scared for the wind in the beginning and look at her now. Happy. And you and Rens did it , what other people say you doing it right. You can be proud.
This is my favorite video so far!! Each horse is having a great time in the field! Apollo certainly is impressive! I also like the videos of the trail rides.
All three are so fascinating to watch.. However, Apollo takes your breath away. This is a wonderful video showing the talents of your beautiful horses..However, I will always love Apollo, The Rock Star to the Cows. Nothing will ever beat the looks of adoration on the faces of those cows..And THE KISS..dt
I agree Apollo is very impressive. There was some speed going on from the three of them. Apollo was very clever getting in between Bella and Farouk for the majority of the time. One of my favourite videos too. I loved seeing them all run and having fun. Thanks Lesley x
This is way my favourite though l've seen many, my coffee went cold whilst watching the fun, just couldn't take my eyes off them ! One little nip from Bella on Apollo's face & off they went, like kids playing chase !! Apollo is just so impressive & boy can he move. My other favourite is Apollo putting his feed bucket over the stable door, it was taken further away & because it was dark in the stable & Apollos colour it looked like it was levitating itself out of the stable !! Another favourite is Apollo again playing fetch with his teddy.
Tremendous stimulation for all of them. The saddest thing is to see any herd or pack animal forced to live alone without human or herd mate. this is just fascinating to watch and I love your commentary
APOLLO places himself near BELLA in front of FAROUK letting him know who's in charge ! You can't mistake APOLLO'S superiority over FAROUK. Only an amateur would miss this . FAROUK is younger, but still has a lot to learn. APOLLO IS THE MASTER.
Hi Tara this is one of my fave films to see them altogether and also the one I love is. Friesian horse loves human company . With you and Apollo and the ball that’s just so beautiful. Also I like to see Rens and Steve doing there work around the place with Apollo helping . Thank you for all your beautiful films best wishes Dee 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🐴🐴🐴🐴
Apollo loves his Dad for sure. It’s so lovely to see them establishing the herd hierarchy such beautiful horses and so well loved. They look awesome running together. Hugs❤️
Loved all the slow-mos, thank you for all the explanations of their behaviors. Just gorgeous the three of them running!! You can really can tell how quickly Farouk can pick up speed! All three of them have something very unique to offer! Love y'all's herd! I cannot think of a better leader than Mr. Apollo, of course Mr. Ike is the best supervisor!! As I was watching this video I too thought, I believe this is one of my favorites!!
I have so many favorite videos! It’s hard to choose! My FAVORITE OLDEST VIDEO 🥰🥰🥰 is of Koning in “Elegant Friesian meets the neighbour’s cows”. When I first came across your channel, I started watching just your daily videos. Then I found your video library and clicked the sequence from oldest forward! When I saw Koning prancing in front of the cows, I was hooked! I smile every time I see it! In this moment… ......Today’s video, “Friesian horse establishes rank with Andalusian filly and Arabian horse!” is MY CURRENT FAVORITE VIDEO 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I daresay my phone quaked when Apollo galloped by.
I so love to watch Apollo trot...that "front action" of his (all Friesians) is just thrilling. He has so much personality...the way he was checking out Rens taking down the fence. Just a wonderful horse! Stay Safe Tara, Hugs!!
Thank you 🤗
I think Farouk is making sure Bella knows he’s second in command! Lol😊.
If only every Horse had as wonderful a home and owners as your three beautiful horses have
What a great video! I think Apollo made a great recovery when he slipped. No loss of pride there. It reminded me of my now 32 year old Morgan when he was about 12. He was showing off for the Arabian mares in the pasture next to the arena. He trotted down to the end of the arena, turned and galloped back. All three of your horses are excellent examples of their breed. That GORGEOUS, powerful stride on Apollo. Farouk, with his agility and that neck! WOW! And Bella with her gorgeous stride and elegant carriage and agility too. How fun to watch them. ❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗

i know you're waiting for diagnosis but I would apply lots of coconut oil to Bellas under her mane especially, it won't do any harm , its anti bacterial, will soothe the the annoying itching she has, you could even put some tea tree oil for extra fly protection. When Apollo slipped: Oh! No one saw that, I'm just gonna get back up here quick! No one saw that!
MissDeviancy Bella saw him. Lol. But it was a nice recovery.
They look so beautiful all running together ! Bella looks so tiny ! I forgot just how little she was when she came to her new home!
I felt the ground move all the way over here in Oz when Apollo was thundering around the paddock 😄
Here in Eastbourne too!
Jenny Heaslip I felt it all the way down under in Oz too.🤣😂
Felted it over here in Texas!🤣😂🤣💕💕💕

I can just see Apollo charging into battle with a knight in full armour on board! The ground was shaking even in my home as he thundered by!
Thank you 🤗

I am always amazed at how high Apollo brings his feet. The energy expanded by him is amazing.
Powerful!
The Friesians are born with that gait.

My very favorite video on all of You Tube is when the eloquent fresian Apollo meets the cows.
Apollo is like: WHY DID U DISRESPECT ME *chases*
Bella: I- *runs*
Farouk: OH U DID IT NOW *runs also*
😂😂
😂
The power in Apollo's gallop is magnificent...with his flowing mane...he really has presence...little Bella really loves to run and for a yearling shows good promise...Farouk sleek in form and movement...I think that they had great fun...so beautiful to watch...Thank you Tara

If Apollo is in the video, I love it. He is such a beautiful, majestic kind horse.
Thank you very much!
Thank you, to you and Ren, for allowing us to share in your paradise.
Our pleasure!
Loved every moment! Bella doesn't probably know what to do with Farouk because he could do that all day and still be right on her. Apollo is such a beautiful and graceful horse. It must be amazing to sit on him and feel all that power.
Apollo could be in a movie as the kings horse!👑🐴
Apollo truly is magnificent. You have a gorgeous dark chocolate, salted caramel and caramel creme. They look beautiful frolicking together in the field! 🥰🥰🥰

I'd never seen a Friesian gallop until I subscribed to your channel 😁🥰🥰 he is magnificent!! As is Farouk!! ❤❤

You are so kind
He is so beautiful. Now that is a horse
I agree, Apollo is a very impressive horse. They are all beautiful in their own way. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too!
Yes, this was a GREAT video!!!!!!! All the horses were just GORGEOUS to watch!!!!!!! The birds were singing and happy, happy horses!!!!!!! ❤️
Loved to just see them running so freely (poor yard!), bucking and kicking and just running! So delightful.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful Horses ! Love these videos ! And Apollo is a giant beauty for sure.
I think Farouk was saying to Bella “Dont cop an attitude with me, little girly girl.”
Glad you enjoyed it!
What an absolute treat! Big Apollo is so smart and so is Bella. Faurook is like the little brother tagging along. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Thanks again for taking us along!
Thank you 🤗
Apollo sounds like a thunderstorm going by magnificent horse, the other two beautiful as well love the Arabians little skip trot. Greetings from the USA.
Lovely video - Apollo is always so regal - hope Bella gets sorted soon.
Apollo's name is so appropriate. He's is a god and the ground shakes when he walks by. Such a magnificent horse.
They are so pretty ,when they are playing ,it’s my favorite to watch . You have such beautiful horses.
Apollo is just an amazingly powerful horse, I just love watching him in this video, there's no doubt who the boss is, Farouk and Bella looks like they are just out for a good time running, fabulous video, thanks Tara
Thank you 🤗
Apollo is truly magnificent, with power that exudes from his very presence: breeding and training which has given him brilliant well thought confidence!
great footage of your herd interacting! Apollo is so impressive! Gorgeous all three!
Beautiful horses ; could watch them all day. They all look happy. Looking forward to more adventures, Tara. Xxx
All three horses are so beautiful. I think they will get along great together. They sure got some exercise running about. :)
Definitely my favorite video to date, I could watch Apollo all day, he really is magnificent but seeing all three together is stunning 💕
Very cool to see the different breeds and the way they move so differently!!!! 😍
Nice to watch!
This is my favorite video so far!! Each horse is having a great time in the field! Apollo certainly is impressive! I also like the videos of the trail rides.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, this is a fav for me, and the other is the one where you walk Apollo through your house. All your videos are great!
I couldn’t word it better, well said.🙂
Good choice!
I like all your horses. But seeing Apollo run and display, He is Outstanding!!! Cheers from Newfoundland, Canada
Apollo is so majestic to watch. Well that was embarrassing at 10:29. Beautiful to watch them running.
Omg Farouk 😍😍 his paces are stunning, floats on air! He’s just effortless 💖
They look so beautiful together and Apollo Wow he's just magnificent!
That gait is almost surreal, like you fully expect Appollo to fly!
Glad you enjoyed it!
They are all so beautiful!
Bella saw that whole slippage. Mental note! I could watch Apollo run around all day. 💕
😁
I think Bella had a bit of an “oh crap, run away!” moment lol
I agree Apollo is very impressive. There was some speed going on from the three of them. Apollo was very clever getting in between Bella and Farouk for the majority of the time. One of my favourite videos too. I loved seeing them all run and having fun. Thanks Lesley x
Beautiful ending shot of Apollo❣️
Poetry in motion (remember that song?) One of the best videos, although I always like to watch Apollo ‘helping’!
Thank you 🤗
It's fun just watching them run around and chasing each other on a beautiful day!
Apollo is absolutely spectacular, I was in love at first sight.
😁
I love Farouks floating trot and I can almost feel Apollo’s gallop. I think Bella’s is going to fit in really well with the boys.
Tremendous stimulation for all of them. The saddest thing is to see any herd or pack animal forced to live alone without human or herd mate. this is just fascinating to watch and I love your commentary
thank you 🥰
Tara...I said ooopppss at the exact same time you did when Apollo went into his skid/fall. 😂
Even when Apollo slipped, it was a smooth recovery. 😙one of my favorite videos by far. Sheer and natural power displayed by the horses🐴💚💚
APOLLO places himself near BELLA in front of FAROUK letting him know who's in charge ! You can't mistake APOLLO'S superiority over FAROUK. Only an amateur would miss this . FAROUK is younger, but still has a lot to learn. APOLLO IS THE MASTER.
Our favourite video?? Oh crikey, that is like saying what's your favourite Beatles song!
So many good ones.
Thank you 🤗
Agreed!!!! Hard to choose!
Hugs❤️
Yes, thank you
The Friesians have the most beautiful legwork!
Fabulous footage! Fabulous to watch the gifted grace of all three of these gorgeous horses! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a fun video! They had a great romp and we got to enjoy them. I love Farouq’s floaty trot….so graceful!
I hope whatever Bella’s got isn’t contagious!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In this moment… ......Today’s video, “Friesian horse establishes rank with Andalusian filly and Arabian horse!” is MY CURRENT FAVORITE VIDEO 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
tfs Genie🥰
Apollo is a beautiful boy. He's so kind & has such a sore expression. One in a million.
How much fun would that be just to sit and watch those horses' interactions with each other.
