Are you sure she's not part Quarter horse?, lol. She has 'cow sense' and would do a grand job driving the herds of cattle on the US prairies !, lol. I guess if she ranks 3rd in Apollo's herd, she's found her own herd to boss about while the boys are away. What a beautiful example of 'Girl power' she is! ;-Dx
Quarter Horses descend in part from Andalusians.I think Bella would do well as a cow horse,she's brave,she's agile and fast on her feet!
And she has a good downhill conformation perfect for a good cowhorse

@@mrskaa7584 I know, I was thinking more recently as she's only young, lol. Colonial Spanish horses helped establish America and were interbred widely with imported European breeds. Their character and body type was ideal for such a varied country.

Omg, that’s so funny, love this video!! Great to see such confidence in Bella, especially being on her own in the paddock. Loved the way she kept checking that you were there watching. 🤣 😂 what a show off. she did look so brave with her charges and pawing of the ground! Lol. How funny I have never seen a horse doing that before. Bella is developing into a very happy and confident young horse and it looks as though her hair is growing over some of the scars and the colour of her coat is lovely. Domineering strength portrayed, a battle horse or pretty, in gentle like a kitten purring, loving companion for adoring owners. They can do it all.Truly a tribute to equine species. An ancient breed and time-developed most excellent horses. I love to draw them, so much presence. 💚💙💛💜

That was so much fun! Bella is full of surprises it seems. And when she sees Apollo, he's going to wonder why she smells like beef! She's so sweet looking, that it's difficult to be afraid of her with her ears pinned back and teeth showing etc. I bet the cattle haven't had this much fun in a long time; they just couldn't get enough of her! Made my week (I'm packing to move so I really needed a good laugh-thank you!) 🐂❤🐎

Oh I've seen some Quarter Horse geldings run some beef cows around on their own to the point they had to be put into another pasture to protect the cattle and to keep the weight on the cattle.

@@Tara101 my comment was actually in response to someone who mentioned having horses pastured with milk cows, and she said the cows would run at the horses to protect their calves. Either she deleted her post, or I posted on the wrong comment. Possibly the latter. Then it would make more sense as to the context. 😁

...also my mare used to do the sniffing with the sensors under the top lip too but not around cattle. That’s got to be Andalusian there. She’s really got breed characteristics, right? Very cool.

OMG I have never seen a horse do that to bulls or cows. I noticed these Bulls have thick curly hair on top of their head, and she did not hurt them. I love the way she also keeps her eyes on you . Queen Bella either wants you to watch her, or she watches for you to turn your back. Either way Bella is very smart and it shows . She is such a rascal and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her, this was a one of a kind thrill. Beautiful Queen Bella !

It is SO heartwarming to watch her. My word she has come out of her shell. She seemed to be enjoying a lovely game with them! She didn't seem distressed or any thing like that at all! Just decided, "what fun! I can make them move at my will!" Lol. We love her so much Tara. I'm glad things worked out this way. She truly is a gem. And you saw her at her roughest. ❤❤❤

@@hopemiura5557 welcome! Tara was looking for an Andalusian yearling and bought Bella from a breeder. Or rather, saved Bella from the breeder. Bella was unhandled, thin and malnourished, and had a skin bacterial condition. Look at her now! What love and care will do!

We had a Andalusian stud here just outside Perth called El Cabalo Blanco & the horses use to perform & they gave a commentaries to the public. They closed it down quite a many years ago & they moved over to the Eastern States, it was so sad to see it go, love going there to see these beautiful horses.😢
The Andalusian horses were a beautiful grey & with long flowing manes. Andalusian horses are so stunning & that includes Bella as well.🥰🤩

Love how the bulls just stand and watch. Both they, and Bella know there is a fence between them so no one is going to get hurt. They really are the best beef on the hoof I have seen in a while. Perhaps you should do a weekly cartoon strip featuring the boys and girl. Could be quite entertaining!

This is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages. The cattle look absolutely thunderstruck. I'll bet if that bullock that kept trying to reach through the fence to grab Bella's tail had gotten hold of it, we'd have seen some fireworks!

Hi Tara, Bella certainly has a lot of confidence now, she means business there that banging her hoof on the ground is the same as stallions do when they're arguing and going to fight, she's saying look how hard I can bang the floor, she has two big brothers so she's going to be tough plus she's not really been a softie as she, she's going to be a tough cookie that's what I like, she was shouting at them did you see her ears flat to her head lol, probably saying "I don't care how many there are of you, I'll go through you like a dose of salt" haha what a great watch, Bella strutting her stuff, hugs to you all xxxxxx

I looked at the link when you first came to you. She definitely had more mane, so some how got chewed off.She was sooo skinny and afraid. Now she's thriving and feisty and more confident. She is defending her territory, but the cows don't seem to be afraid of her. I am glad that fence is there. It could be different. But she is a feisty little girl. Thank you for sharing. Today, October 23, it is almost 80 US degrees here, very warm for this time of year.
