    Wow...what you did was historic. To find that cold... Remember, the German responders probably had smoke and fire to guide them.
    That was a BMW round engine. Probably from the wing, as the center one was most likely obliterated.
    That corrugated aluminum really is iconic.
    You're going to have every warbird enthusiast as viewers if not already! Many thanks.

    At the start of the video when we see EE it made me realize just how much he has grown in so many way since the day of the little boy and his dump truck playing while Daddy metal detects :) That was an amazing find so much of it still left. EE, HH, guys. Seriously awesome work! Such beautiful, and spectacular, terrain, with some gorgeous ocean views, but, experience knows how hard it was to travel over, especially with that boggy ground. But you did it! EE's Special Power strikes again! Finding just a few broken pieces of aluminium would have been enough, but finding that piece of the corrugated skin was just solid confirmation you got there. And then, the shattered engine was just the icing on the cake. Really amazing finds! And to think, you guys had probably walked in the footsteps of the German recovery team, who would have had to trek over the same country, looking for the same pieces of aircraft. Only 80+ years apart. Just an amazing piece of History Hunting. Thank you both for the time, and effort, you put in to bring us these amazing locations, and finds. Cheers to you both! Great work!

    A relative of my was JU 52 Pilot during WWII and he and his copilot missed the course from Italy to Tunisia after a party with a lot of alcohol the evening before. Very early in the morning they saw an island and this island was Malta. They expected after to get shot down by British Spitfires but the English slept and no enemy fighter came and killed them. After landing in Tunisia they celebrated their second birthday. He survived the WWII without any injuries and he was a funny guy! Greetings from Linz Austria 🇦🇹 Europe!

Parts seemed to be everywhere in the rocks! That aircraft really came apart. Parts of the engine found! I could make out the shark fin on the mountain. A tribute to your research and perseverance to find the remains of that air accident. I was thinking how close the pilot got to clearing the mountain he hit. Is there any record of the names of the crew who lost their lives there? Another fascinating video.

      The water in Norway is often 100% safe to drink. if its clear and flowing you can drink it, altho dont drink from rivers.

    Are those remaining pieces left there for others to find or do some of them take a few odd pieces like parts of the engine, fuselage etc as i wouldnt mind a historic aircrafts engine to mount in my room as long as it is allowed to be removed from the wreck site

    • @WW2HistoryHunter
      @WW2HistoryHunter  2 місяці тому

      It is most likely that the pieces could be great for others to see as well. Thanks for watching.

    If the plane was loaded with fuel barrels it likely exploded and burned enough to destroy most of the plane. Aluminum would have melted into almost nothing. As for the engines, I’ve seen photos of aircraft engines being almost completely destroyed. Especially after hitting that stone hilltop.
