Scripps Tech - Brain Interface Study

Moving objects using mind control sounds like something out of a science fiction story. But it’s happening now thanks to a collaboration between the Casa Colina Research Institute (CCRI), UCLA, and the California Institute of Technology. Scripps Tech visited Casa Colina’s Pomona campus to learn more about how their exciting Brain Computer Interface research is benefitting those with paralysis-like longtime study participant James Johnson, who teamed with CCRI shortly after suffering a spinal cord injury in 2017.
