Might actually buy this one I love running drow when the opportunity arises I agree the map isn’t the best but I prefer drawing my own maps anyways and I’d certainly have a lot of fun painting all those minis but I’d probably paint at least one of each of the basic minions as a different type of elf to add verity to my other minis as I have more then enough other drow minis to make up for loss of a few
I'm not sold on the map either! I've ran several sessions with a few SFG boxe sets in the past few months and had to add several 3D pieces to help out "see the map better"! The minis look good but i would've prefer more faces and less full faced helms 😉 Thanks for the review!
Thanks, Martin! Oh yeah, I always like to throw in some 3D terrain pieces when I can, even with the best maps. Just makes it a bit more fun and tangible I think. Thanks for the thoughts!
This set looks pretty cool... Cheap way of getting lots of minis. I just wish they stepped up the plastic quality and had all different sculpts so it felt less like boardgame pieces.
Oh, I've always been pretty happy with the quality of the minis themselves. Never had one break on me, unlike the soft plastic ones. All different sculpts would be nice, but would make them significantly more expensive. At least you can give them different paint jobs to differentiate them if you have the time.
Epic encounters minis are perfection.. solid, heavy and unbreakable when they fall... Easy to paint... The only thing i noticed they are kept together with bases so few people might find that limiting
Please dont advertise HPP! What they did to their kickstarter backers for the animated Tarot and Heckna was an utter disgrace. Waiting time after waiting time, unclear communication and basicly leaving everyone in the dark. They also aren't delivering great quality all the time. The quality of the spell slot tracker for example is absolutely abysmal. But the main issue is their treatment of backers, wgo spent hundreds of dollars to make these projects happen. The staggeringly absurd waiting time alone would be enough, but good gods above, they also simply started to sell those decks to non-backers, in some places, before sending anything to the backers. They started multiple projects, before the previous projects were even close to being finished and certainly way before they were delivered. As one of those who waited for their stuff to arive and stayed faithful, it hurts me every time I see ads for their scammy company. Sure, it was delivered in the end, but it was an absolute nightmare to get there.
Damn ! ..... love your watch strap ! 😄 ...oh and the drow ! 😁
Well got lizards, got gnolls. Guess I need drow too lol
Haha, it's like a really interesting version of Lions, and Tigers, and Bears!

The minis are AWE-SOME! I like them a lot.
Agreed. Really cool minis as always from SFG!

Loved this! 😊
Hope they end up doing a sahuagin set
Nice
Not too bad of a price
Although I don’t have time to paint all those minis
Maybe I should make a video about quick and easy paint jobs for minis when you don't have time to paint them all...
