I'm a BFA (Professional Photography) student at AAU and made the jump to Nikon. Although I will be purchasing a D600 in a couple of months from now, I'd figure I better get started on learning the basics of Nikon and my D52 before school starts in 14 days. One thing I like about your tutorials is the clarity of your voice. All other tutorials are loaded with opinions and less of what the functions of camera serve. Keep up the great work. Considering ordering your crash course on the D52.
great tutorial, keep it up ! BTW, this is a tutorial for people who use the brand new Nikon D5200, not for users of canon, danon, eanon, fanon, ganon, zanon or any other noisy ( not talking about sound here ..) cameras.
So im new to photography and want to buy my fist dslr but im not sure what to get. Should I get a cheaper body like the D5200 and an extra lens, or should I buy the D7100 with the kit lens? Thanks.
Sanel R. I bought my D5200 a few days ago on an "Easter offer" for Nikon cameras, and the offer included the 18-55mm lens and one extra 55-200mm lens all together at the prize of €579!! :-)

What about the buttons on the lense?
For stills, not video.
too bad! thanks coach .. :)
Nikon d7000 is way more better than the Canon 60d. If you want to take better photos, buy different lenses with big apertures.
