A great performance ! My wife and I will come from the US to Amsterdam in October 2021 to listen to Kantorow's performance of the 2nd piano concerto by Prokofiev. Such talent !

Me too; the piano just really sounds magnificent in a way I haven't heard before. Was lucky to have been able to tell him that personally after a recital, and he was very humble to acknowledge the efforts of his teacher 😊

Un de mes morceaux préférés que j'écoute en boucle par Maria Jao Pires depuis des années et que je savoure avec autant de bonheur depuis 20 ans. Personne dans mon cœur ni dans mes tympans n’avaient réussi à me faire ressentir autant de frissons en écoutant cette merveilleuse composition. C'est une belle découverte. Même si....je n'ai pas le même frisson ici, la technique est indéniable

La communion entre artistes est sublime. L'âme de Frédéric est le jeu, la créativité d'Alexandre. Le deuxième mouvement est à mourir. La beauté en est tellement sublimée qu'elle nous élève au paradis. On voudrait l'écouter éternellement. Alexandre Kantorov est un Dieu. JJC
